Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 256: He deliberately took his time, enjoying the game.

”Shoot! What are you waiting for!” the snowmobile driver shouted. His passenger, overcome with fear, hesitated at first, but then, coming to his senses, began to prepare his rifle.

The same situation was observed with other snowmobiles.

Without hesitation, Kraus took out the signal pistol that he always took with him on a snowmobile in case of unforeseen situations like this. He quickly lifted it into the sky and fired, signaling the observers from the city.

Without waiting for them to open fire on him, Ned quickly caught up with the next snowmobile and, as before, with all his might, putting his spikes forward, rammed it. The impact of the gold-ranked beast was so strong that the snowmobile immediately fell apart, and its passengers were blown to pieces.

Fragments of a snowmobile fell on the snow-white snow, as well as splashes of blood and the remains of victims.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The passengers of the four snowmobiles opened fire on the wolf. Ned increased the distance a little and began to dodge the bullets flying in his direction. It wasnʼt difficult for him to dodge bullets from such a distance. Even a silver-ranked snow wolf could dodge, and for a gold-ranked wolf like Ned, it was a piece of cake.

When they saw that the wolf had retreated a little, the people felt their fear leave them and gained a little confidence.

But their confidence evaporated as quickly as it appeared when a strange wolf suddenly started shooting its spikes at them from behind.

The surprise caused the third and fourth snowmobiles to fail to dodge, and they fell right into the trajectory of the spikes and were riddled with them. The drivers and passengers of these snowmobiles could not escape death — they died instantly.

Of the seven snowmobiles, only three remained.

”Awww!” howled Ned, enjoying the desperation of his victims.

As a being born in a Forbidden Zone where the Energy of Madness was hovering, Ned took great pleasure in what was happening. He was filled with joy and madness.

He deliberately took his time, enjoying the game.

Unlike Arabel, who lost control of herself due to the side effect of the Energy of Madness, Ned was always a madman. It was his nature, and no situations could make him lose control. Everything he did, he did consciously.

Minutes had passed since the start of the chase, and not a single bullet had hit Ned.

Everyone understood that the wolf was playing with them and deliberately stalling for time. Otherwise, they would all be dead by now. But it was to their advantage. Everyone saw Kraus fire a flare, calling for reinforcements. All that remained was to hold out until then.

”Drive! Step on the gas!” the shooters shouted, hurrying the drivers and starting to panic. The bullets werenʼt endless, and they were starting to run out.

They have already lost four snowmobiles and eight members of the group.

None of them understood where this strange wolf came from or why it was targeting them.

Being in the form of a beast, Ned possessed beast senses, and at that moment he caught the approach of a dozen creatures from the direction of the city.

Realizing that there was little time left and the game was over, Ned rushed forward at high speed, dodging bullets. When the distance to the next snowmobile was only a few meters, putting his spikes forward and protecting himself from bullets, Ned rammed the fifth snowmobile, receiving minor tangential wounds from bullets.

Another snowmobile and two members of the group were lost.

The remaining two participants and Kraus were almost desperate until they noticed reinforcements approaching.

Ned also noticed them and instead of retreating, he was determined to complete his masterʼs task.

Putting all his strength into his paws, Ned rushed forward with great speed, intending to destroy the last snowmobile and its passengers. Its spikes were thrust forward like the tips of swords.

The passenger and the driver were already saying goodbye to their lives, seeing the huge body of a wolf with spikes rushing at them.

When the snowmobile was only two meters away, a strange transparent barrier appeared in front of Ned. Ned slammed into him with all his might.

The strange barrier couldnʼt withstand the impact of the peak gold rank beast and shattered like glass. However, it achieved its goal — it slowed down the wolf, giving the snowmobile and its driver the opportunity to dodge and increase the distance.

Ned wasted no time and immediately fired spikes until the snowmobile had time to increase the distance.

The distance was short, and the spikes caught up with the snowmobile at full speed. However, a barrier appeared in front of them again, but this time it was unable to protect them. Under the hail of thorns, the barrier quickly collapsed, and several thorns reached their target, piercing both the passenger and the driver at the same time, taking their lives. Having lost control, the snowmobile turned sharply, and it crashed.

Kraus, the only survivor of the group, had his heart racing.

In fear, he looked around, expecting the wolf to pounce on him. But, to his surprise, after destroying the last snowmobile and people, the wolf stopped. It seemed to Kraus that he was looking right at him with a grin on his face, standing proudly in place.

Kraus finally breathed a sigh of relief when he reached the reinforcements.

All those who arrived were awakened, and there was not a single mortal among them. Most of them were gold-ranked.

Ned didnʼt show any fear, standing in front of so many gold-ranked awakened ones. To him, they were all weaklings. Only the restrictions of the world held back his true strength, otherwise he would have swatted down all these weaklings.

But suddenly Ned started up, noticing familiar red hair among those present. Not only this color, but also the familiar azure eyes that looked at him cautiously, awakened old fears in him. Ned trembled, but when he realized that it wasnʼt his young mistress, he relaxed and grinned.

”What kind of beast is this?” someone asked Kraus.

”I do not know, it appeared suddenly and attacked us,” Kraus replied, trying to catch his breath and calm down.

”What do you think, Arslan?” a young girl asked the guy with red hair and azure eyes, without taking her eyes off the wolf.

”Iʼm not sure,” Arslan replied, ”Iʼve never seen such beast before, and Iʼve never even heard of one living in this area.”

”Itʼs a peak gold-ranked beast. Heʼs too dangerous to leave alive. We need to eliminate him!” another awakened one exclaimed, and everyone nodded their heads in agreement, including Arslan.

”Everyone gets ready!” a shout rang out from the crowd.

Ned, instead of running for his life, watched curiously.

Suddenly, a transparent barrier appeared around him, just like last time, but this time much more powerful.

Ned immediately realized that it was this young man with red hair who was using the barrier, and it was he who was trying to prevent him from completing the task given by the Master. Ned remembered him well.

Ned let out a loud howl, and to the surprise of everyone present, before their abilities could reach him, he disappeared.

The terrifying and dangerous beast they were all aimed at seemed to have disappeared into thin air, leaving behind only a snow-white, clear field.
