Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 254: A crude plan and the expected danger

Coco jumped off Idanʼs shoulder and ran up to the tethered foxes. Idan watched her actions curiously.

As soon as the foxes saw Coco, they lowered their heads and prostrated themselves in front of her. This unexpected behavior greatly surprised Idan.

However, Idan didnʼt have to wonder for long why the foxes were behaving this way. He immediately understood what was going on and opened Cocoʼs status, which he hadnʼt checked for a long time.

**Status**

Name: Coco

Race: ??? fox

Gender: female

Rank: Rank 3 Beast Lord (Rank depends on the level of the Hosts)

Element: ???

Combat power: none

Profession: Photographer, Stalker, Blogger

Abilities: take photos, keep a diary, turn into a stress relief toy

Loyalty: Absolute loyalty

The description and recommendations remain the same.

The only thing that has changed in Cocoʼs status is her rank. After they moved to the Golden rank, Cocoʼs rank rose from second to third. Idan finally noticed the prefix ”Beast Lord”.

When he and Arabel checked Cocoʼs status for the first time, they didnʼt pay attention to it. But now, comparing Cocoʼs status with the information obtained by the Eye of Identification, Idan realized that the two second-rank foxes he had seen did not have this prefix.

”Ned, free them,” Idan asked, and Ned, without expressing any emotions, obediently approached the foxes. Without hesitation, he broke the chains that bound them to the tree, and the foxes were free.

”And the wolf, too, — Idan added after Ned freed the foxes.

Nodding, Ned headed towards the last wounded wolf. When the wolf saw the approaching man, he bared his teeth. Ned, in turn, released the aura of a Gold-ranked creature, and the wolf, sensing the opponentʼs strength, immediately went limp, lowering its head. The pressure coming from Ned was unbearable for the wolf, and he began to tremble under his aura.

Ned didnʼt care, and he quickly broke the chains binding the wolf, fulfilling Idanʼs request.

[Ding! The task of System is ”To save and free the beasts 3 out of 3”. Done. Reward 100 System points]

”Great,” Idan said, watching as the number of System points increased by 100. ”We now have at least one package of candy for Coco, thanks to this task.”

Shortly after Coco asked Idan to save the two Foxes, System gave him a new task — to save all three beasts. Idan couldnʼt refuse, because 100 points was a very tempting reward for him right now.

After his release, the wolf was afraid to do anything, he lay trembling in fear of Ned.

Coco was whispering to the two foxes in front of her.

Seeing how the three wild beasts didnʼt attack, Idan got lost in thought. In total, Idan and Arabel bought two manuals from the ”Trade” function, ”Manual to the ”Path of Beast Tamer” - Rank 1 – Formation of the First Beast Soul” and one ”Manual to the ”Path of Beast Tamer” - Rank 2 – Formation of the Second Beast Soul”.

They left the first and second volumes with Milica, and Idan and Arabel took with them a copy of the first volume, which they had previously given to Eulalia. It was currently stored in their vault with nothing to do. Idan and Arabel didnʼt need it.

Their own world is currently undergoing rapid development, and everywhere you can find various types of animals that can be tamed. All that needed to be done was to find a way, and that way was already in their hands.

Now the only question left was how to use this knowledge and benefit from it.

”I wonder if other users of the Systems will be able to create Beast Souls by following the instructions in the manual? As for ordinary people, will they be able to master the art of beast taming?” — Idanʼs thoughts began to work feverishly again.

Idan also recalled the soul crystals that Nemo and Eulalia used to quickly form their Beast Souls. So far, Idan and Arabel could purchase crystals for System Points, but Idan wondered if it was possible to create or mine these soul crystals on their own.

”System, is there a formula or a way to create soul crystals in the «Trade» function?” he asked.

[Yes, Host. There are two formulas: simplified and complete. To create soul crystals using a simplified formula, an activated ”Alchemy” function is required.]

”Show them!” exclaimed Idan excitedly, and two formulas appeared in front of his eyes at once.

After studying both formulas, Idan immersed himself in thought and analysis. For the simplified version, unlike the full version, it was only necessary to obtain the Beast Soul Flower. While for the complete recipe, in addition to the Beast Soul Flower, it was necessary to find other auxiliary resources, the number of which numbered about five.

However, as with the potion to raise their bloodlineʼs rank, the simplified version required paying System Points for the service and additional resources. Just like with the crystal creation potion, there was a chance of a successful creation and a chance of a doubled result.

There was no need to spend System Points to create soul crystals using the full formula. However, this required first obtaining the necessary resources and having an alchemy skill. Simply put, you had to be an expert in this field.

At that time, Idan and Arabel didnʼt have any knowledge of alchemy, and they didnʼt have time to study. Therefore, the first option was more suitable for them.

Idan did not immediately decide to purchase the formula because he did not know how and where to get the Beast Soul Flower. And without this knowledge, having the formula would be useless.

When Idan was about to ask the system a question about the Beast Soul Flower, he felt something rush into his Soul Force domain. Instinctively dodging, he avoided a direct hit.

It was a bullet that flew right over the place where his head had just been. After dodging, Idan immediately looked in the direction where the bullet had come from, but he didnʼt see anyone.

”A sniper?” he thought.

The bulletʼs speed was very fast, and without timely detection and preparation, he would hardly have been able to dodge. If he had been hit, if Idan hadnʼt died, he would have suffered a serious head injury.

Ned instantly flared up with anger and rage, his murderous mood was so strong that the wolf and two foxes almost fainted from fear. The animals were terrified, not expecting that the quietest of the two people would turn out to be so dangerous and scary.

Before, when Ned was angry, they could sense his murderous intent too, but now it was a thousand times stronger.

”Ned, stop!” yelled Idan, before Ned rushed to the side where the bullet had come from. ”Calm down!”

To Idanʼs surprise, Ned, despite his condition, listened to his words. His killing intent had weakened a bit, but it hadnʼt completely disappeared.

Looking around, Idan couldnʼt find the little fox cub. Coco was gone.

”Did she really go there?” — he thought, looking in the direction from where the shot was fired.

”Donʼt worry, Ned, Iʼm sure they were our new friends...” said Idan with a gloomy expression on his face.

Idan had already given them a chance and let them go. But it seemed that Kraus was scared of Ned when he slightly released his killing intent. Kraus decided to pretend that he was retreating, but in reality, he was going to act secretly and attack unexpectedly.

Soon, a small rift opened above Idanʼs head, and Coco jumped out of it. Having already gotten used to doing this, she landed neatly on Idanʼs shoulder and quickly took out some photos that she had just taken, handing them to Idan.

”Ahahaha. Good girl. Great job!” praised Coco Idan, looking at the stack of photos.

”As I thought,” Idan said, looking at all the photos, and his eyes flashed dangerously.

[Ding! An assassination attempt has been detected! The task of the System ”Eliminate all those involved in the assassination attempt! There are 13 goals in total!”]
