CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1397: Chapter 1405: Win at All Costs

Jillian Carter started her livestream today, and when she saw that the number of online viewers was less than 20,000, she was already feeling angry inside. However, her assistant comforted her saying that it was just the beginning and there was nothing to worry about. Many fans probably hadn’t logged on yet and the viewership would increase soon.

But even after waiting for more than ten minutes, the number of online viewers in Jillian Carter’s livestream tonight still didn’t break 30,000. Half an hour later, this number was still diminishing, and Jillian Carter was grinding her teeth with frustration.

Even when she passed by the mall rest area and saw many people watching Jane Sampson’s livestream on their mobile phones, she was so enraged that she almost smashed her own phone.

”How many online viewers does Jane Sampson’s livestream channel have now?” Jillian Carter, taking a break, asked her assistant with a voice tinged with suppressed anger.

The assistant, after checking the number of online viewers in Jane Sampson’s livestream channel, didn’t dare to answer the question. Instead, she suggested to Jillian Carter, ”Sister Misty, why not hold a giveaway in your livestream channel? Tell the fans that you’ll do a drawing for several winners once the viewership hits 30,000, and different giveaways at 40,000, and so on, asking fans to help pull in more viewers?”

The assistant thought it was feasible and added, ”The livestream still has a long way to go. Why not also get the company to place an advertisement for you?”

As soon as Jillian Carter heard the assistant’s words, she immediately understood.

Her face cold, she retorted sharply, ”Do I need you to teach me? I didn’t ask you to teach me, Jillian Carter, how to do things. I asked you, how many online fans does Jane Sampson have in her livestream channel!”

Seeing Jillian Carter’s temper flare up, the assistant trembled slightly and bravely replied, ”Nearly 300,000.”

And right now, there were just over 20,000, not even 30,000, in Jillian Carter’s livestream channel – a number that had to be divided by ten to match Jillian’s.

Actually, Jillian Carter’s livestream channel usually wouldn’t have so few viewers. The assistant knew that Jane Sampson’s livestream tonight had a significant impact on Jillian Carter.

Upon hearing this, Jillian Carter threw a tantrum in the shopping mall.

She had never had such a big following the first time she started livestreaming! Why Jane Sampson! Why does she get to!

”I won’t lose!” Jillian Carter clenched her teeth; she absolutely would not allow herself to lose to Jane Sampson!

Jillian Carter went straight to the VIP Room of the mall and, using her assistant’s phone, called the person in charge of her livestream channel, ”I want to hold an event in my livestream channel! Starting from when I continue the livestream after my break, if the online viewership exceeds 30,000, I will draw and give ten fans a lipstick from F brand, they can pick the shade; if it goes over 40,000, I’ll draw another ten to give away F brand facial masks.”

And the more Jillian Carter talked, the faster her speech became, ”If online viewership exceeds 50,000, I will draw twenty to give away perfumes from YL brand, and so on, adding ten thousand viewers each time, starting with lipsticks again for several rounds of giveaways. As long as the viewership exceeds 200,000, I will draw an additional twenty people to give away the latest fruit pads, and ten cash red envelopes of 9999! Also, I want my livestream giveaway to be on the twitter pop-up ad space right now!”

The person on the phone was stunned by Jillian Carter’s audacious plan, ”If you want to give away gifts, as long as you pay for them yourself, the company will not interfere. But if you want a pop-up ad space, that’s unlikely; you have to pay for that space.”

”How much? I will pay for it myself, no matter the cost, and I want you to make sure the advertisement goes out in ten minutes!” Jillian Carter was adamant, ”I don’t care how much money I spend!”

The person in charge really couldn’t bear to watch Jillian Carter go toe-to-toe with Jane Sampson like this, and couldn’t help but give her a piece of well-intentioned advice.
