CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1378: Chapter 1386: Show Off a Little

James Carter looked down in confusion, then also followed with the same surprise.

”Mr. Carter, we both have a square birthmark on the inside of our right foot! Among people I know, you’re the second one with such a shaped birthmark, and it’s even in the same spot as mine.” That was why Jane Sampson kept staring at James Carter’s foot.

Jane Sampson felt delighted because she believed that human connections are indeed very strange. She had never met a second person with the same mark before, but today she discovered that Mr. Carter, who she got along with particularly well, also had the same square birthmark, and in the same spot, no less.

”Mr. Carter, we must have been especially good friends in a past life! So this is a sign!” Jane Sampson said a bit excitedly, shaking her little foot.

Her skin was very fair, and even the skin on her feet was pale and tender. She was 168cm tall but only had a size 36 petite foot, which was a bit pudgy, and next to James Carter’s bigger foot, it looked exceedingly cute no matter the angle.

”Mr. Carter, can I take a photo and show off on Moments?” Jane Sampson swayed her mobile phone in her hand, ”Just a photo of our feet.”

James Carter nodded, then moved his foot a bit closer, ”After you take it, send me a copy, I want to keep it as a keepsake. It’s indeed a bit astonishing.”

James Carter’s voice was light and cheerful, ”My mom has a square birthmark in the same place on her foot too.”

”Really?” This made Jane Sampson find it even more interesting. After taking the photo and before putting her socks back on, she said, ”If there’s a chance, let’s invite Auntie to take a photo together to commemorate! It’s really so amusing!”

James Carter received the photo that Jane Sampson sent on WhatsApp and saved it.

He looked at Jane Sampson busy posting to Moments and couldn’t help but smile. Jane Sampson was an extremely cheerful and sharing girl by nature, and she naturally loved posting on Moments as well.

It was just that James Carter didn’t have a habit of posting on Moments. He just forwarded the photo to his mother with a sense of novelty, then waited to like Jane Sampson’s Moments post.

After Jane Sampson posted her Moments, James Carter was the first to give it a like, followed by comments from star-marked friends like Nina Rice.

We are destined to be good friends! [Proud][Slyly Proud]

This is a flavor-filled Moments post! —— Peter Gingery.

Are you showing off athlete’s foot? —— Alexander Forest.

Peter Gingery and Alexander Forest, are you two idiots? How could Jane’s adorable little foot smell bad? —— Jasmine Seven Today Is General Seven.

Jane Sampson held her phone and laughed like a naive daughter of a wealthy landowner. Because of this little discovery, Jane Sampson’s mood was great the entire day. Once the equipment was fixed, both Jane Sampson and James Carter were in a superb state for singing practice.

The two of them, along with Kendal Smith who couldn’t make public appearances elsewhere in the Capital Province for the time being, ordered takeaway and battled it out playing landlord in the studio until past nine o’clock before dispersing to go home.

After returning home, Jane Sampson found out that the official twitter for ”Oh My Mum” had already shared a few minutes of trailers for publicity, and her culinary skills, because of this short segment, went straight up to the hot search list.

Unquestionably, in this episode of the show, Jane Sampson’s skills in taming the six little devils with her cooking were a highlight. Even before the full show aired, emoticons of the six little devils drooling and begging for food had already appeared.

It can be said to be quite enchanting indeed.
