CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1374: Chapter 1382: Still Unfinished

The two didn’t start talking until they reached the parking lot.

”Sister Coco’s family didn’t bully her after they came to the hospital, did they?” Jane Sampson was concerned about that.

”They just cleared out some stuff other visitors brought for Sister Coco, but nothing else really,” Harry Little Money said. ”They didn’t say anything nasty, and sometimes they would even make soup and bring it to the hospital for Sister Coco.”

”Could it be a guilty conscience?” Jane Sampson was amazed, ”Anyway, thanks for taking care of Coco. I’ll talk to Sister Tin later and give you a bonus.”

”I won’t be shy about that, thank you, Sister Jane.” No employee would refuse a bonus, Harry Little Money gratefully accepted with a big smile.

After Jane Sampson left the hospital, she went straight to the company. When she arrived, William King was also in Rock Bell’s office. Seeing Jane Sampson entering, William King greeted her with respect.

Rock Bell called Jane Sampson over, ”You’ve come at the right time. William King also just returned to the company today. Let’s have a meal together at noon, to celebrate his return to Jane Joy.”

”Sure,” Jane Sampson nodded and agreed.

After James Carter called Jane Sampson last time to explain the situation, Jane Sampson then called Rock Bell. After discussing and deliberating for a few days, they decided to bring William King back.

Jane Sampson didn’t have much contact with William King, but Rock Bell had dealt with him for quite some time and was quite confident in his capabilities.

By a stroke of luck, today William King was just returning to the company to sign a new work contract.

”It’s an honor to be back here. I, William King, will certainly prove to both of you bosses that your decision today was not wrong,” William King felt quite grateful inside.

His resignation was not insignificant—leaving his old boss early in the morning, then getting in touch with Jillian Carter, not ending up cooperating with Jillian, and finally joining Jane Joy.

It hadn’t been many days since he joined Jane Joy that he had to resign once more.

In this circle, there are plenty of people ready to praise you one day and step on you the next. During this time, William King had been ridiculed by many old rivals. It can be said that Jillian’s move had a negative impact on him.

But now, having returned to Jane Joy, everything was different.

Therefore, William King was grateful to Jane Sampson and Rock Bell for not holding a grudge and still willing to trust him, allowing him to return to his original position and continue working at Jane Joy Studio.

”By the way, today I called you here because there is something to notify you. ’Oh My Mum’ is about to be released, and the program crew wants to know if you have time to join a variety show for publicity. It’s live broadcasting next Saturday night,” Rock Bell said, ”There will be a payment.”

”Let’s pass on that, Sister Tin. In a few days, I have to start training with Mr. Carter; I take my Spring Festival performance very seriously. After that, I want to focus all my energy and thoughts on training for the performance,” William King said.

Rock Bell didn’t seem surprised either, raising her eyebrows a bit, ”Sure.”

Compared to the variety show, the Spring Festival Gala performance was naturally much more important.

William King couldn’t help but twitch the corners of his mouth when he heard this.

Just debuted, and getting to perform on the national Spring Festival Gala stage for the New Year, Jane Sampson is indeed a lucky one in this circle.

What’s more important is sharing the stage with James Carter, the music king. After this year, Jane Sampson’s industry reputation is set to rise even higher.

After lunch, Jane Sampson didn’t go home but called James Carter. Then she drove to the music studio of James Carter’s friends.
