CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1345: Chapter 1353: Trouble Caused by Money

”Sister Jane, just now Coco’s parents came to visit her at the hospital, and I don’t know what happened, but Coco ended up arguing with her parents in the ward. Later on, she even called for the doctors and nurses to kick her parents out, telling them not to bother coming anymore, as if their daughter was already dead.”

Harry Little Money was very worried, ”Coco’s parents left cursing and swearing. After they left, Coco cried bitterly in the ward. I tried to comfort her, but it was no use.”

”Hand Coco the mobile phone, I want to talk to her for a bit.” Jane Sampson sat up and gestured to Peter Gingery and then took the mobile phone into the bedroom.

Coco, still holding back tears the second she took the phone from Harry Little Money’s hand, quickly dried her eyes and composed herself as soon as she heard Jane wanted to chat.

But as soon as she spoke, her hello was still tinged with the traces of crying.

”Coco, what happened?” Jane Sampson was worried. ”Harry Little Money said you had a fight with your parents?”

”It’s nothing, it’s all about money as usual, I’m used to it,” Coco sobbed softly. ”They said my brother wants to buy a new car and is short of money, and asked to borrow from me. I said I have no money to lend, then they told me to borrow from the boss, and when I refused, they called me an ingrate, saying that they regretted raising a heartless daughter like me, and they should have drowned me in the toilet when I was born.”

Before Jane Sampson even asked how much was needed, Coco laughed at herself, ”Jane, do you know what they meant when they said my brother’s car purchase is just a bit short?”

”How short?” Jane Sampson really couldn’t guess; after all, she had never been short on money from a young age.

Before Julie Sampton returned, she was the little princess of the Sampton Family, and she had everything.

After Julie returned, whenever Jane stayed with the Black Family, Old Master Black would give her pocket money from time to time, Aunt Black and Uncle Black treated her like their own daughter, and she had everything that Peter Gingery had, even getting more pocket money than him.

”They said that my brother’s son will attend a noble kindergarten in the future, and if he doesn’t buy a decent car, he won’t have any face when driving to pick up and drop off the child. They want to buy a BMW, saying it won’t be embarrassing. They spotted a car that costs 580,000 on the road, and they are short of 560,000 bucks, so they came to ask me for a loan.”

Coco said this and her tears simply wouldn’t stop, ”They treat me like a money-printing machine; they only have 20,000 in hand, but have the gall to ask for a car worth 580,000, and they said the kindergarten they like charges over 30,000 for a semester’s tuition fee, telling me, the aunt, to cover the child’s tuition fee, only then could I be considered to truly care for the child.”

”Pah! Considering the character of that child’s parents, I, as the aunt, just can’t afford such affection! The cost of caring for this child is too high, Coco cannot pay it.” Coco sneered, ”Although I knew their true colors long ago, being hurt by them like this over and over, I’ve become more and more numb.”

”Jane, I’ve decided, from now on, I will just give as much living allowance to my parents as my brother and sister-in-law give every month. If they don’t give any, then at most I’ll give a thousand a month,” Coco declared. ”Every time they ask me for money and I don’t give, they vilify me in our hometown among the neighbors as being unfilial and improper, saying that a daughter like me will eventually be struck down by thunder, so let them wait for the day I am struck by thunder and die.”
