CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1316: Chapter 1324: Blacklisted

”Please feel free.” The candidness of William King made Rock Bell involuntarily trust William two points more.

After all, before this incident, William King’s reputation within the industry was indeed very good.

After taking the photos, William King expressed his thanks solemnly before saying, ”Sister Bell, please apologize to Boss Sampton for me.”

He had already left Jane Joy Studio, so William King knew he was not in a position to ask Rock Bell for Jane Sampson’s mobile number anymore. This apology he had originally wanted to deliver in person would probably never have a chance to be said.

If they were to meet at work in the future, they would mostly likely pretend not to recognize each other.

After leaving Jane Joy Studio, William King let out a slight sigh. To tell the truth, he felt regretful.

He liked the work environment at Jane Joy Studio, mainly comprising of young people, laid-back and lively. He also had high hopes for the two newcomers assigned to him by the company, so it was a pity.

After returning home, William King immediately sent his email address to his friends to help check the owner of the inbox.

More than an hour later, having received the results, William King looked at the familiar address and name without any surprise.

William King thought for a long time in the house and ultimately couldn’t swallow his pride.

The last time he met Jillian Carter, he had warned her. However, it seemed that Jillian Carter just couldn’t stand to see him, William King, living too comfortably.

William King took out his phone and made a call to Jillian Carter, only to find the line busy. With a sneer, William guessed that Elder Miss Carter had blocked him.

Looking at the address on his mobile phone, William King took his car key and left the house.

Meanwhile, in a luxury villa area in Capital Province.

Jillian Carter sat on the sofa holding her mother, Gwendolyn Young, throwing a tantrum for a while just to get Gwendolyn to persuade James Carter to stay with her during his time working in Capital Province.

With the year drawing to a close, James Carter and Gwendolyn Young had already arrived in Capital Province to prepare for the Spring Festival Gala.

Gwendolyn had naturally agreed early on to stay with her daughter, but James Carter had not relented.

James Carter owned properties in Capital Province, not just a few, so when he arrived, he went straight into one of his deluxe apartments.

”You’re all grown up. If it weren’t for you saying you were scared to live in such a big house alone and wanted me to accompany you, I wouldn’t have thought of staying with you. Let your brother live on his own if he wants. Everyone should have their own space, and that’s a good thing,” Gwendolyn was just this open-minded, and her words were like so.

If it weren’t for Jillian Carter insisting on her moving in, Gwendolyn would have preferred to live in her own house.

”Mom, like you said, we are all getting older, and everybody will have their own families in the future. The chances of living together like this will become even scarcer, so help me persuade Brother. Anyway, it’s not for a long time, aren’t you leaving after the New Year? And dad is also coming to Capital Province for the Chinese New Year, right? Then our family can reunite right here,” Jillian Carter said, continuously, gently swaying Gwendolyn’s arm as she spoke.

James Carter came in leaning on a cane just in time to hear Jillian talking about these things. He smiled faintly and walked over, teasing his sister.

”You’re at such an age and still acting coy with Mom? Not embarrassed?” It was then James Carter explained, ”I need to practice my singing every day, and also play the piano. You don’t have my piano room over here. Staying with you would disrupt the life of you and Mom.”
