CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1325: Chapter 1333: Making It Hard For You

”William King...” Jane Sampson repeated the name, and finally chose to be honest, ”William King knows Jillian Carter, Mr. Carter, though Jillian is your sister, truth be told, there are some things between Jillian and me, hard to explain, in short, Mr. Carter, I’m sorry, but I don’t like Jillian Carter.”

Since James Carter was calling her about William King, it meant that he must know about that email matter.

”I know.” James Carter then sighed, ”I just found out now that the perfume incident was her doing it deliberately, and I also just realized, she has a lot of hostility towards you. I apologize for previously asking you to tolerate her a bit, I shouldn’t have said that, putting you in a difficult position.”

If James Carter had known from the start that Jillian would be so selfish and sinister, he wouldn’t have said those things to Jane Sampson at first.

Jane Sampson isn’t anyone to Jillian Carter; Jane truly has no reason to indulge Jillian. Even though Jillian is his sister, James Carter’s, isn’t Jane also someone treasured and adored in someone else’s hand?

Why should Jillian not suffer any grievance and Jane be the one to bear it?

”Jane, I wanted to explain to you about William King today. Last night William King went to look for Jillian. Only then did my mother and I find out what Jillian had done. It was Jillian who sent that email, and William King is a good friend of mine for many years. Originally, I selfishly wanted William King to take Jillian under his wing, but later William told me that he couldn’t handle Jillian, and then he went to your Jane Joy Studio.”

James Carter explained, ”After that incident, there’s been nothing between William and Jillian. Jane, if you trust my word, I can vouch for William King. There’s really nothing wrong with his character, and his work capabilities are indeed strong. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have thought to push Jillian onto him initially.”

”Mr. Carter, are you worried that our studio will make the email matter public?” Jane Sampson asked.

”If possible, could you give William King another chance?” James Carter sighed helplessly, ”The contract termination with Jane Joy Studio was quite a blow to William.”

”Regarding the email matter, Sister Tin and I didn’t plan to make it public from the start. We had no intention of driving William King to a dead end.” William King hadn’t caused any substantial damage to Jane Joy Studio, so Rock Bell and Jane Sampson had agreed that it would be okay to deal with the matter quietly.

Neither Rock Bell nor Jane Sampson had ever thought of exposing William King’s incident within the industry or had the idea of banning him.

”I thank you on behalf of William King.” The more easily Jane Sampson agreed, the more James Carter felt indebted to her.

Afterwards, James Carter chatted with Jane Sampson about non-work-related topics on the phone until Jane needed to board her flight and they ended the call.

Before boarding, Jane Sampson sent a WhatsAPP message to James Black informing him that she’d boarded and was ready to take off, and only then did she turn off her mobile phone. The flight was two hours and forty minutes; in less than three hours, she would be back in Capital Province.

When James Black saw Jane Sampson’s WhatsAPP message, he smiled gently, curving the corner of his mouth, then tidied up early, drove the car early to the airport to wait, to avoid being stuck on the road during rush hour, making Jane wait after coming down from the airplane.
