Chapter 1309: Chapter 1317: Every Child is an Angel

”Mmm, won’t tell Old Sir,” Aunt Black nodded, leaving behind some supplements. Only after chatting with Jane Sampson for a while did she leave.

James Black escorted Aunt Black down to the carpark downstairs and watched as she drove off from the parking lot before returning home.

As soon as he opened the door, he could hear Jane Sampson muttering to her mobile phone about something. It was only after walking in that he could clearly hear what she was mumbling about.

”Spicy crawfish, barbecue, skewers, hotpot, Kanto-style stew, ah, I can’t eat any of you.”

Her finger was scrolling through photos on her mobile phone. During these few days, she had been vicariously satisfying her appetite with these pictures, which looked rather pitiful. ”You’re back?” Jane looked up at the person behind her and, as she did, slowly put her mobile phone away.

”I’ll take you to have hotpot next month.” Jane had been ill for a few days, and James Black had made her porridge for several days, vegetable porridge, multigrain porridge, and he also joined her in eating for several days.

Not to mention the patient who had lost her sense of taste from illness, even James Black himself was somewhat fed up with it.

Seeing how pitifully Jane Sampson was resorting to quenching her thirst by looking at plums, James Black couldn’t help but want to pamper her a bit.

”Okay.” Jane Sampson agreed with shining eyes.

”I have to return to the guard team tomorrow, and I’ll drop you off at the Black Residence first thing in the morning.” James Black’s vacation was over; because of Jane’s illness, he had already delayed for two days, and he had to return to the guard team tomorrow.

What James Black worried about the most regarding this return to the guard team was Jane Sampson.

A sick wife who was often a handful and didn’t particularly listen well was quite a concern for James Black.

”The prerequisite for eating hotpot is that you have to be obedient.” James Black rubbed the top of Jane Sampson’s head helplessly, ”If you don’t recover well, we’ll have to postpone the recording of ’Oh My Mum!.’”

”No need, I’m not that delicate,” Jane Sampson shook her head.

James Black hummed in response, ”When you get there, and if you have time, make sure to give me a call every night.”

”Okay.” Jane Sampson’s thoughts were clearly drifting somewhere else.

Perhaps they had already drifted to the hotpot feast next month.

Early the next morning, James Black returned to the guard team. Jane Sampson stayed at the Black Residence for a few days before she took a plane to join the program crew of ”Oh My Mum!” for the show recording.

Knowing that Jane Sampson had joined the film crew, James Black was very attentive. Apart from contacting Jane Sampson himself, he would also get in touch with old friends working in the program crew to inquire about Jane’s interactions with the children.

There were six children in the show, four boys and two girls.

All six children were from celebrities, and all their families were well-off, so the children were dressed very fashionably. When Jane Sampson arrived and saw the six cute kids, her heart was incredibly joyful.

So, on the first night she arrived, Jane Sampson hid from the cameraman and was on the phone with James Black, chatting about everything related to the children.

”The kids are angels, cute-looking and with very adorable personalities, their voices are so adorable. They said they want to set up a kindergarten, and I would be their principal. Today it was a vegetable kindergarten, and I am the Tomato Guardian, and they are also vegetables. I can’t call them by their names, I have to call them by the vegetables they represent.”

During the WhatsAPP video call with James Black, as Jane Sampson talked about these matters, her eyes sparkled like starlight, and her face showed an expression overflowing with maternal love.
