Chapter 1013: Chapter 1012: An Important Guest

”Hao Rong? What are you doing here?”

The three of them were chatting animatedly under the sign when a voice sounded. Hao Rong heard his name, turned around, and saw a group of young men standing there, instantly overjoyed.

”Brother Quan!” Hao Rong immediately trotted over, ”Brother Quan, are you here to ride horses? Can you take the three of us along?”

The young man looked about seventeen or eighteen years old, his hair stuck up like nails. People usually called this hairstyle spiky, but the young man didn’t have a spiky personality; instead, he had a certain aristocratic air about him.

This young man’s name was Bai Yongquan, truly a noble of Jiang City, the son of a real business tycoon. In comparison, the Hao Family was like a child to an adult when standing in front of the Bai Family.

In Jiang City, the Bai Family, though not omnipotent, was influential enough to make the city tremble with their every move.

Therefore, the young Bai Yongquan was known around these circles as ’Brother Quan.’

Bai Yongquan often frequented such places—shooting, archery, horse riding, hot springs—basically high-end clubs.

Bai Yongquan looked at Hao Rong, shook his head with amusement, ”Locked out again?”

Hao Rong chuckled sheepishly.

”Alright, let’s go. I’ve already reserved the venue today. Find a corner to hang out and don’t disturb us,” Bai Yongquan said.

He didn’t speak to anyone in particular, but no one at the horse arena stopped Hao Rong and the others.

Hao Rong quickly waved to Luo Yirui and the others, and the three followed behind Bai Yongquan and his group inside.

”Don’t we need to pay?” Jing Changle asked Hao Rong.

Hao Rong gestured for silence, ”Brother Quan is very proud. Since he said he’s reserved the place, we don’t need to pay. If we do, it would definitely displease him.”

Luo Yirui and the others were speechless, but that’s how it was.

The three entered the horse arena together. Due to the reservation, besides this group of young people, no one else was visible inside.

Even the owner of the horse arena personally greeted Bai Yongquan upon his arrival.

Since Luo Yirui and the others were not far away, they could hear the conversation between Bai Yongquan and the arena owner.

”I’m expecting an important guest soon. Keep those difficult-to-train horses aside.”

”Understood. For such matters, Mr. Bai, you can just have someone inform us next time,” the arena owner, a man in his thirties with a fairly decent appearance, said with a peaceful smile, but it was clear he wanted to please the young master.

”This guest is very important. Don’t let anything go wrong. Neither of us could shoulder the consequences!”

Upon hearing this, the arena owner immediately became vigilant. Who could be someone even the Bai Family couldn’t afford to offend?

”Rest assured, Mr. Bai, everything has been arranged properly!” The arena owner swiftly went off to personally prepare.

Since the young Bai Yongquan was hosting an important guest here, it showed he valued this place. If served well, his plans to expand the venue might come to fruition; otherwise, if the adjacent area isn’t cleared and the lease isn’t expired, there would be no way.

After preparing for about forty minutes, Bai Yongquan suddenly walked outside; it seemed his important guest had arrived.

Luo Yirui and Jing Changle had already had enough fun and wanted to leave, but seeing this, they stopped.

Since no entry or exit was allowed now, they’d have to wait for the important guest to finish.

After a short while, they saw Bai Yongquan greet a handsome young man and a beautiful girl with a broad smile.

Luo Yirui noticed the young man, his pupils contracting slightly.
