Rebirth in the 90s: Her Counterattack and Redemption

Chapter 131: Chapters 94-95: Seeking Out/Sparrin

”Mr. Yu, please wait a moment!”

Yu Qing turned around to see the little girl hurrying after him, a smile emerged at the corner of his mouth. He had studied each student of Senior 3, Class 3 in advance, this student’s performance had improved remarkably fast, possibly one of the most potential students in the class, so he paid special attention when calling attendance, naturally, he knew her.

”Luo Ye, what’s the matter?”

”Mr. Yu, I would like to change my seat.” Luo Ye directly stated her request, not bringing it up in class out of respect for the homeroom teacher, and not going to the office to avoid spreading the matter wildly, as some teachers are no less gossipy than students; otherwise, how could Yang Xing’s identity be known so quickly by classmates? Today in class, she vaguely heard a few classmates jealously admiring her sharing a seat with the Secretary’s son.

Yu Qing looked puzzled: ”Why? I thought about it, and this seating arrangement might cause some controversy among students, but I never expected it to be you. Yang Xing’s performance, if not for the school’s policy, ranks top three in the class, sharing a desk with him is probably what many students would envy. Why wouldn’t you want that?”

”Mr. Yu, let’s talk over there,” seeing classmates glancing over, Luo Ye pulled Yu Qing towards a secluded flower bed near the office.

Being pulled by Luo Ye’s soft hand, Yu Qing curved his lips in a smile. He had generally understood the situation of each student from the previous teachers. Luo Ye was a rather controversial student, besides Teacher Yang, everyone else’s assessment of Luo Ye was timid and weak, not understanding how her grades improved so quickly, the tone carrying quite a bit of doubt. Now it seems, Teacher Yang’s understanding of this child was probably the most accurate.

After stopping, Luo Ye looked pitifully at Yu Qing: ”Mr. Yu, you must also understand my situation, with Yang Xing’s background and performance being obvious, I really don’t want to become the target of hatred by many girls right at the start of Senior 3, can you understand my feelings?” She had no choice, this was the only reason she could use.

”At such a young age, you think too much,” Yu Qing laughed and shook his head: ”But, just because of some girls’ jealousy, to give up the chance to improve your grades faster, is it worth it?”

”It’s worth it.” Luo Ye nodded: ”Mr. Yu, I’m not scared of them, I just don’t want to get involved in these boring matters, my experiences in first and second year made me deeply detest such things.”

Yu Qing’s eyes flashed with a hint of pity: ”The teacher can understand your feelings, but, I have seen the records transferred from the key high school, Yang Xing’s performance might be even higher than you imagine, having a desk mate who can help you during Senior 3, it would be very advantageous, it’s a pity to give up such an opportunity.”

”Thank you Mr. Yu for your deep kindness, but I think it’s better to rely on myself than others.” Luo Ye was evidently unmoved.

Mr. Yu’s eyes flashed with a hint of difficulty, weighing things up and finally nodded: ”Alright, since you insist so much, I won’t persuade you further, where would you like to move?”

”Can I share a desk with Tang Luo?” Luo Ye tentatively asked, her face blossoming into a bright smile.

”Okay, next period is my official class, I’ll arrange it for you.” Yu Qing pondered and nodded in agreement.

”Thank you! Thank you, Mr. Yu, then I’ll head back now.” Yu Qing agreeing so readily to let her share a desk with Tang Luo was unexpected, she was too happy.

...

”Luoluo, did you ask Mr. Yu for a seat change?” As soon as Luo Ye turned out of the flower bed, Ying Nuo and Tang Luo came over.

Luo Ye giggled, hugging both: ”Yes, Tangtang guessed right, Nuonuo, how do you feel about the new class? Who is your deskmate?”

”It’s okay, sharing a desk with Liu Qi, the former deputy monitor of class one.” Ying Nuo frowned: ”I’m not used to it, several times I almost mistook him for Luoluo.”

Tang Luo joked: ”Hey Nuonuo, you’re not thinking of starting a romance with your deskmate, are you?”

”Get lost, what deskmate romance!” While scolding Tang Luo, Ying Nuo stealthily observed Luo Ye’s expression, her guilty look was extremely cute.

Luo Ye purposefully glared at Tang Luo: ”Tangtang, this is my future sister-in-law, you can’t talk nonsense.”

”Really? Luoluo you’re biased, why is Nuonuo a future sister-in-law and not me? No way, I have to compete with Nuonuo for the position of future sister-in-law.” Tang Luo said while sneakily glancing at Ying Nuo.
