The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2634: Third eye?

Nito’s eyes narrowed dangerously as things were not going well for him, and with every second that passed, the advantage of the Scarlet King was growing.

He was extremely strong, both in flesh and mind, but the spear of the Scarlet King was able to surpass any defenses he put up and overcome any ability he unleashed.

Unfortunately for the Curse Eater, he had no time to think about a plan to counter the spear, as Cain was already upon him, ready to blast him to pieces.

Immediately, the Realm of Beasts activated.

Golden scales spread across his body while draconic claws emerged from his hands. His instincts sharpened to monstrous levels as his regeneration accelerated.

The Curse Eater knew that being still would mean absolute defeat, so he lunged again.

This time, however, Cain raised Tyranus Gungnir with both hands.

The weapon trembled violently.

Its draconic side suddenly transformed.

A colossal crimson dragon head emerged from the spear itself.

”Tyrant Dragon Surge.”

The dragon roared.

Then it lunged forward.

Nito’s instincts screamed in warning as he clasped his hand and unleashed a ferocious burst of energy.

Yet the dragon devoured everything.

It consumed his attacks.

It consumed the surrounding terrain.

It consumed the energy flooding the battlefield itself.

Nito’s eyes widened as the colossal dragon reached him.

Then—

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

The sky exploded.

A catastrophic detonation spread across the firmament, swallowing everything in crimson destruction.

The shockwave alone flattened the ground beneath them and tore apart entire sections of the battlefield.

Even distant warriors stopped fighting momentarily as terror filled their eyes, worried that the collateral damage could reach them and break them to pieces.

Far within the explosion—

Nito coughed up blood.

His body was covered in burns, while several scales had shattered.

Nito’s body trembled from the damage of the Tyrant Dragon Surge.

Blood covered his flesh.

Burns spread across his arms and chest.

Several of the scales born from the Realm of Beasts had shattered completely, exposing torn muscle beneath.

For the first time since arriving in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, the leader of the Curse Eaters felt genuine exhaustion.

Every breath burned.

Every movement sent waves of pain through his body.

The Six Realms were incredibly powerful, but maintaining them at such a level placed an immense burden upon him. Combined with the corruption, madness, decay, and destruction continuously inflicted by Tyranus Gungnir, his condition had deteriorated far faster than he had anticipated.

He had clearly underestimated the Scarlet King.

He had undertaken the weapon that the man summoned.

Yet there was no room for surrender.

Failure meant the destruction of everything he had fought for.

The Tenth Empyrean World.

His people.

Adam’s dream.

His mission.

A fierce light erupted in Nito’s eyes.

Cain stood amidst the collapsing void with Tyranus Gungnir resting across his shoulder.

The Scarlet King could feel it.

Victory was close.

The Curse Eater was exhausted.

His body had reached its limits.

One more overwhelming assault might be enough to end everything.

A smile appeared on Cain’s face as not even in his wildest dream did he imagine he could achieve such an outstanding victory in the first clash.

”We might even take back the entire world today!” Just as that thought crossed the Scarlet King’s mind, a surge of energy exploded outward.

”BOOOOOOOOOOM!”

The lingering flames and destruction left behind by Tyrant Dragon Surge were violently dispersed.

Cain’s smile slowly vanished.

Far away, Nito remained standing.

And now there was something different.

A thin cut had appeared on his forehead.

At first glance, it seemed insignificant.

Then it moved.

The wound slowly parted.

Not like flesh splitting.

Like an eyelid opening.

Only a fraction of a millimeter.

Barely enough to reveal a sliver of dark purple beneath.

Yet that tiny opening unleashed power beyond imagination.

”RUMBLE!”

The sky darkened.

The earth shook.

The Samsara Wheel behind Nito expanded until it seemed capable of covering entire worlds.

A pressure unlike anything before descended upon the battlefield.

Countless warriors halted their fights.

Both the Alliance and the Curse Eaters stared upward in shock.

Even Alpha Omega Overgods felt their hearts tighten.

Nito’s aura skyrocketed.

Again.

And again.

And again.

Until it reached a completely new level.

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he tightened the grip around his spear.

”So that’s your final trump card.”

Nito did not answer.

The Curse Eater vanished.

The Realm of Heavenly Velocity erupted.

A blue-gold flash crossed the battlefield.

Cain barely managed to raise Tyranus Gungnir.

”BAAAAAANG!”

The collision shattered space.

A huge crater instantly appeared beneath them.

Nito’s fist crashed against the spear with enough force to bend reality itself.

Cain slid backward.

For the first time since awakening Tyranus Gungnir, he was the one being pushed back.

Yet his smile only widened.

”Good.”

The Wings of Chaos erupted behind him, merging with the Wings of the Fallen God, raising his power even more, as he channeled a fraction of the power of every warrior of the Alliance in the world.

Scarlet storms descended.

Ash rained from the heavens.

Then Cain charged.

The two figures collided once more.

”BOOM!”

”BOOM!”

”BOOM!”

The battlefield became a sea of explosions.

Nito moved with impossible speed.

Every strike carried the power of the Six Realms.

Every punch threatened to shatter continents.

Every kick distorted the laws of reality.

Meanwhile, Cain wielded Tyranus Gungnir with terrifying mastery.

The awakened spear danced through the void like a living extension of his body.

Ashen Ruination spread decay wherever it touched.

Crimson Cataclysm ignited storms of destruction.

Choirs of Madness screamed across the battlefield.

The two powers clashed endlessly.

Neither willing to retreat.

Neither willing to yield.

Blood soon began to flow.

Nito’s claw tore through Cain’s shoulder.

The Scarlet King answered by driving the draconic blade across Nito’s ribs.

A spray of blood filled the air.

The Curse Eater retaliated with a kick empowered by the Realm of Asura Wrath.

Several of Cain’s ribs shattered.

Yet before Nito could capitalize, Tyranus Gungnir pierced through his thigh.

Both warriors staggered.

Both immediately rushed forward again.

The shockwaves became increasingly terrifying.

The void cracked repeatedly.

Several Alpha Omega Overgods were forced to retreat farther from the battlefield to avoid being caught in the collateral destruction.

Neither side could believe what they were witnessing.

This was no longer a battle between two warriors.

It was a clash between monsters capable of threatening the universe itself.

Minutes passed.

Then hours seemed compressed into moments.

Cain’s body regenerated countless wounds through the power of the Samsara Runic Set.

Nito healed himself repeatedly through the Realm of Beasts and the overwhelming power flowing from the mysterious eye on his forehead.

Yet neither could gain a decisive advantage.

At some point, the distinction between attacker and defender vanished entirely.

They simply fought.

Strike after strike.

Wound after wound.

Will against will.

Power against power.

The Scarlet King and the leader of the Curse Eaters had reached a state where only one thing mattered.

Victory.

Cain spun Tyranus Gungnir and unleashed a massive arc of destruction.

Nito shattered it with a punch.

Nito answered with a storm of blows.

Cain cut through them with impossible precision.

The battlefield trembled beneath their fury.

Their blood mixed together in the sky.

Their roars echoed across the Empyrean World.

And slowly, an astonishing realization formed within the minds of everyone watching.

The gap that had once existed between them had vanished.

The opening of Nito’s mysterious eye had elevated him to a level capable of matching the awakened Tyranus Gungnir.

Now neither held a clear advantage.

Now neither stood above the other.

For the first time since the battle began—

Cain and Nito stood on equal ground.

”BOOOOOOM!”

Tyranus Gungnir clashed against Nito’s fist, and the resulting shockwave shattered millions of kilometers of space around them. Neither warrior yielded an inch. Their powers had reached a terrifying equilibrium.

Nito’s muscles bulged as the Six Realms poured unimaginable strength into his body.

Cain’s scarlet-golden aura blazed as Tyranus Gungnir unleashed endless waves of destruction.

For a moment, it seemed impossible for either side to gain the upper hand.

Yet Cain smiled.

There was still one card he had not unleashed.

One inheritance obtained from the Cult of Ouroboros that had been waiting to attack.

A sharp light erupted in the Scarlet King’s eyes.

Immediately, the laws of the battlefield twisted.

Nito’s instincts screamed.

Before he could react, a colossal shadow appeared above them.
