The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2633: Tyranus Gungnir

All eyes turned toward Nito for a brief moment, and even the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance could not help but feel awe and respect.

One could hate the invaders and wish for nothing more than to destroy them, yet true strength always demanded recognition. And Nito’s power was genuinely overwhelming, reaching heights that seemed to break the very limits of the universe.

The Curse Eater stood firmly in the sky, his expression calm and unmoving, as though the devastating attack he had just unleashed was something ordinary. Yet deep inside, exhaustion surged through his body.

Using the Six Realms at full power consumed an immense amount of energy, and maintaining the Human Realm placed terrifying strain upon his flesh. It felt as though his body could shatter apart at any moment.

It reached the point where he was forced to halt the flow of power from the Samsara Wheel, paralyzing the technique for a moment.

Even so, a smile appeared on Nito’s face as he remembered the sensation of his final strike landing against the Scarlet King—the feeling of flesh tearing and bones breaking beneath his fist.

However, the sharpness soon returned to his eyes.

A violent gust of wind blew away the dust surrounding the crater below, revealing Cain’s current condition.

It was severe.

Blood covered nearly every inch of the Scarlet King’s body, and a massive cavity had formed in the center of his chest where Nito’s attack had landed. His internal organs were clearly visible, making many warriors instinctively shudder.

Even for someone of Cain’s level, wounds like those would greatly hinder combat ability.

Yet Cain’s expression remained completely calm.

The runic lines spread across his body began to glow brilliantly, and all the wounds covering his flesh regenerated at a speed visible to the naked eye. Torn muscles reformed. Broken bones repaired themselves. Blood flowed backward into his body as though time itself had reversed.

Within only a few heartbeats, Cain stood in perfect condition once more.

His body possessed monstrous durability, but his vitality had not yet surpassed the Half-Step Fourth Realm. Because of that, the Samsara Runic Set could still fully regenerate nearly all damage he received.

Nito saw this clearly, yet despair did not appear in his eyes.

On the contrary—

His smile widened.

Even if the Samsara Immortal Body could restore Cain’s injuries, the amount of energy required to heal such a powerful body had to be unimaginable.

And he was right.

Even with the Ouroboros Stronghold replenishing his reserves, Cain could feel his energy rapidly declining. The battle had already reached a level where every attack consumed terrifying amounts of power.

His eyes turned solemn as he slowly rose back into the sky and stared directly at Nito.

Then his gaze shifted toward the spear in his hand.

The determination within Cain’s eyes intensified as he spoke in a voice that echoed across the entire battlefield.

”It is time to awaken.”

Immediately, the double-headed spear began to tremble violently.

The energy radiating from it made the heavens quake.

Then Cain uttered its name.

”Tyranus Gungnir.”

For a single instant, the battlefield seemed to freeze.

Then—

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!”

An explosion of power erupted outward like the birth of a dying star. Waves of destructive energy spread in all directions with enough force to consume small planets whole.

Nito reacted instantly.

He waved his hand and split apart the incoming wave of power, yet the moment contact was made, his eyes sharply narrowed. The flesh around his palm began to erode as though consumed by an invisible force.

”What kind of power is this?”

That same question echoed within the minds of countless warriors as all eyes turned toward the Scarlet King.

And toward the weapon in his grasp.

The spear had transformed.

Its body had grown larger, and its aura had become vastly more terrifying. The draconic spearhead now resembled a monstrous bloody fang eager to devour all life, while the skeletal crescent had elongated into something akin to a reaper’s scythe capable of harvesting souls themselves.

Dark orange and scarlet energy coiled around the weapon like living storms.

Its mere presence distorted reality.

”Its aura is terrifying...”

Nito clenched his fists as he felt the overwhelming pressure emanating from the weapon.

A single thought crossed his mind.

Is that a Fourth Realm treasure?

Yet he had no time to dwell on such thoughts.

The golden-scarlet eye embedded in the center of the spear suddenly focused on him.

And for the first time in a very long while—

Nito felt cold fear run through his blood.

Meanwhile, Cain simply smiled.

His grip around Tyranus Gungnir tightened as endless power surged through his body.

Then he raised the awakened weapon toward Nito.

”It is my turn now.”

Cain moved like death incarnated.

The moment Tyranus Gungnir swept through the sky, reality itself screamed.

”BOOOOOOM!”

A crescent-shaped wave of gray-black energy exploded outward from the skeletal blade, spreading across the battlefield like a tide of death.

”Ashen Ruination.”

The heavens dimmed.

Where the wave passed, space itself appeared to wither. Mountains crumbled into ash. Spiritual formations rotted apart. Even the lingering energy from previous attacks began to decay into nothingness.

Nito’s eyes sharpened as he immediately activated the Realm of Empty Spirits.

His body turned translucent while the pale silver-gray Samsara Wheel spun behind him.

Normally, physical attacks would phase harmlessly through him.

Yet the instant the wave touched his body—

”HSSSS!”

Smoke erupted from his translucent flesh.

Nito’s expression changed.

The decay ignored the distinction between physical and spiritual existence. Even in his ghost-like state, the Ashen Ruination continued corroding his body and soul simultaneously.

Without hesitation, Nito retreated at blinding speed.

Yet Cain was already upon him.

The draconic side of Tyranus Gungnir ignited.

Violent crimson flames erupted from the blade, spreading across the sky like a sea of blood.

”Crimson Cataclysm.”

The flames twisted unnaturally.

They did not merely burn flesh.

They burned the mind itself.

The moment Nito blocked the descending spear strike with his arm, the crimson fire surged into his body.

Immediately, violent rage exploded within his heart.

Bloodlust.

Hatred.

The desire to destroy everything around him.

His breathing grew heavier as murderous impulses assaulted his mind relentlessly.

The Curse Eater’s eyes widened slightly.

This weapon could influence emotions directly.

Nito used all his power to stabilize himself. Pure light spread through his body, restoring balance and suppressing the invading madness.

Yet before he could recover fully—

The screaming began.

”Choir of Madness.”

The countless souls within Legion’s side of Tyranus Gungnir awakened.

Distorted whispers flooded the battlefield.

It sounded like ancient gods screaming in despair.

Memories that did not belong to Nito began appearing in his mind.

He saw worlds burning.

He saw civilizations consumed.

He heard endless voices whispering hatred into his ears.

”Kill.”

”Consume.”

”Destroy.”

The pressure was horrifying.

Even nearby Alpha Omega Overgods staggered as blood leaked from their ears.

Several warriors nearly lost control and began attacking indiscriminately, forcing them to pull away from the Scarlet King’s weapon.

Nito clenched his fists as veins bulged across his body.

His Samsara Wheel spun wildly, putting a lot of strain on his body and soul, yet it was the only way he could keep up.

Then Cain attacked again.

”BOOOOOOM!”

The awakened spear descended with enough force to split worlds.

Nito immediately switched to the Realm of Heavenly Velocity.

Blue-gold lightning exploded around him as he vanished from sight.

The Scarlet King’s strike shattered the sky itself, producing a shockwave that annihilated everything for millions of kilometers.

Yet Nito appeared behind Cain instantly.

His fist descended with terrifying speed.

”BAAAAANG!”

Cain blocked with the spear shaft, but the impact still sent shockwaves tearing across the battlefield.

However—

This time, Nito felt overwhelmed.

The moment his fist touched Tyranus Gungnir, waves of madness, corruption, and decay assaulted him simultaneously.

His movements slowed.

His regeneration weakened.

Even his perception began destabilizing.

Cain gave him no chance to recover.

Spectral wings erupted behind the Scarlet King.

”Wings of the Fallen God.”

The heavens darkened instantly.

Scarlet storms formed above the battlefield while endless ash began raining from the sky.

Psychic corruption spread across reality itself.

The pressure multiplying around Cain became monstrous.

His aura no longer resembled that of a warrior.

The Scarlet King looked like a fallen deity descending to bring about the end of worlds.

Nito activated the Realm of Asura Wrath.

Crimson-black power exploded outward as spectral arms manifested behind him. His battle aura surged violently while spiritual weapons formed around him.

Then he charged directly into the storm.

The clash shook the entire world.

”BOOOOOOOOOOM!”

Nito unleashed thousands of strikes within moments, each one carrying enough force to flatten continents.

Cain answered with perfect spear mastery.

Every movement of Tyranus Gungnir unleashed catastrophic destruction. Gray-black decay waves tore through Nito’s attacks while crimson flames exploded across the battlefield.

The Curse Eater fought fiercely.

Yet for the first time since the battle began—

He was being suppressed.
