Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 796: Peeking Into The Secrets Of The Universe! Part-1.

”How long are you going to stay in here, by the way? What about food? Do you need it sent here, or will you join us above ground at the dining table?”

Hearing Lia’s question, Rio shook his head.

”No need to send food or anything; I will be in closed-door seclusion training for the next week or so.”

”As a peak S ranker, it isn’t a big deal even if I don’t eat anything at all for several months. Right now I need absolute focus, so it would be better if you could instruct the cleaning staff and the others to not visit this place until I am done.”

Lia felt worried about Rio locking himself up in a dark room for an entire week, but this matter was related to his growth and advancement, so she held back her concerns and decided to stay silent.

”Well, if you need me for anything, just send me a message through telepathy or something and I will be there for you right away...”

”Try not to go too overboard with your training though; I know how much of a training mania you are...”

At one point Lia had even seen Rio ask Jin bombard him with his attacks just so he could raise his base defense stat rapidly during the academy days!

Inhumane training and unconventional growth methods, Rio was simply too adept at using them. Even Lia, who was training maniac herself, dared not do things like him.

”Don’t worry, I am not going to do anything reckless at all; I am just going to meditate and circulate my energy around my body, that’s all...”

Hearing Rio’s words, Lia heaved a sigh of relief, kissed him lightly on the left cheek, and then left after saying,

”Well, I should leave now; it won’t be good if I keep disturbing your focus here. Make sure to end your training in a week, or I will knock down the front door of this basement and rush inside to drag you out the next day!”

At those words, Rio could only shake his head in helplessness.

Once Lia closed the front door and left, the smile on Rio’s face completely disappeared as if it had never existed in the first place.

His expression and his eyes become emotionless instantly as he switches to his serious mode.

’No time to waste, let’s get started right away...’

[Sword Intent: Steady Approach!]

[Sword Sage’s Enlightenment: Spatial Manipulation: Spatial Suture!]

Using spatial suture with Sword Intent, Rio sutured the entire space-time fabric around him in place, creating a temporary spatial lock that would act like a powerful seal.

’Good, now even if the entire Silver Mansion comes down collapsing on this basement, I will still not be disturbed by anything and will remain unaffected...’

Once done with the safety work, Rio walked to the center of the dimly lit basement hall and sat down on the ground in a meditation pose before removing the concealment and restrictions placed on the crown.

Once the concealment was released, the crown of infinite cosmos that glowed with a dense purple aura, formed with miasmic corruption, reappeared above Rio’s head.

Using sword intent and miasma as an energy supply for the crown, Rio controlled it completely, causing it to glow, float, and spin at a slow but steady pace above Rio’s head.

After Rio was sure that he now had full control over the crown’s power, he brought out the broken gem that the Demon King had given him and examined it properly before letting it float higher and merge with the crown.

As the gem and the crown were powerful items of the same origin, they had an insanely strong attraction force for each other, and the moment Rio removed his restrictions on the two of them, they both merged with each other readily!

As the crown of endless realms finally got restored to full strength after more than a thousand years, the crown trembled from joy from the very bottom of its existence.

’It has no connection with Raika anymore, and yet it still retains a basic instinctual level of self-consciousness... As expected of a mythical artifact created in an age before mana descent, it is a very powerful artifact...’

In terms of ability and skills, the crown was perhaps even stronger than the ’Sword of Absolute Destruction, Vinash’.

Although most of the abilities of the crown of endless realms were support-oriented, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it was an artifact on a slightly higher level than the three legendary swords.

’Using this crown, now I can go to any place in the universe as long as I know about the existence of that place or have its coordinates...’

Aside from the ’laws’ of ’space’ and ’time,’ the crown has also merged the power of a legendary skill, ’Absolute Detection.’

So even if Rio doesn’t know about specific coordinates, as long as Rio knows even the slightest bit about a place, he could now go there whenever he wanted to with the help of the crown.

’Proper control established, stable connection and merging between the crown and the broken gem complete...’

Without any further delay, Rio closed his eyes, focused his entire mind on the crown, and ’imagined’ a destination according to his own premade plan.

Once Rio determined the destination that he needed to find, the crown immediately glowed brightly and started spinning rapidly above his head, consuming a tremendous amount of energy.

Thankfully, the Crown could draw energy for its own use directly from the ’Spirit Realm’ through its inherent connection to the ’Spirit Realm’ of the universe, so Rio had no need to supply the Crown with his own energy.

The consumption of energy was simply too huge for a single person to withstand.

Even if Rio were now a peak S-ranker, he likely would have been unable to use the crown until he reached rank SS, if the crown demanded energy from him directly.

’Let’s start the experimentations...’

The first destination that Rio ’Imagined’ in his mind was,

[Location of the legendary Sword, ’The Sword of Cosmic Order, Raksha’!]
