Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 768: The Ability To Alter The ’Order’ of the ’Universe’. Part-2.

”I wasn’t expecting it to land anyway!”

As if knowing that the beam wouldn’t land, Ashtel sneaked to the demon king’s side through a teleportation portal he created while the demon king was distracted by the beam.

Due to the intense magnetic and gravitational fields, the weaker fluctuations of the teleportation gate were hidden easily, and Ashtel appeared right behind the demon king!

[World Authority: Shockwave!]

[Sage Art: Fist of Temperance: Planet Buster!]

A fist powerful enough to crack a planet landed on the demon king’s chin, completely breaking his jaw and blowing him straight towards the black hole.

”URK!”

The demon king coughed a mouthful of blood as his eyes went bloodshot and he immediately snapped his fingers!

The scenery changed as the black hole in the background disappeared and the two of them appeared on a barren planet somewhere!

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!*

The Demon King’s body smashed into the planet, and the planet was cracked open instantly as the Demon King’s body went right through the planet with so much force that the planet couldn’t even stay still in its orbit!

The core of the planet, filled with dense lava, spilled out of the broken planet as the planet was bleeding and its life had come to an end, but the two titans had no time to care about this.

Ashtel wiped the blood from his lips as he bent the space-time fabric around his feet to launch himself upward to dodge the demon king’s attack and realized that he could already taste blood in his mouth.

The realm was embedded with his consciousness, and the massive damage it was sustaining was being transferred straight back to his soul and body.

With every attack, both he and the demon king were killing each other, and the destruction they caused was bringing them both to a mutual death point!

But they couldn’t stop now; the situation was way past the point of negotiation.

This battle only had one outcome now: the one that had more endurance would survive, or both of them would kill each other right now.

”I wasn’t expecting the great Ashtel Rex to do a sneak attack, but don’t think this is the end of me!!”

The demon king whose neck Ashtel had broken before was now using his ’void travel’ ability to fly around and control his body, as his body was completely paralyzed because Ashtel had shattered his neck!

Although the demon king was indeed good at close combat, he wasn’t as good as Ashtel Rex, and his main strength was having more versatility rather than a head-on combat capability.

Ashtel’s entire skill set was focused entirely on combat; he had no other ability that would focus on anything else, even his world authority, ’Shockwave,’ was insanely violent in nature to be used for anything other than combat.

It was as if Ashtel had left everything ’human’ inside of him behind while only retaining the concept of the ’combat’ in his body.

He was like a machine built only for the purpose of destruction and nothing else!

This was one of the main reasons why Ashtel Rex was feared and revered as the strongest.

It was his pure strength that made him this terrifying!

”Your endurance is insane! Even after giving you so many debuffs, you are still able to endure having your sea of consciousness broken and can still keep injuring me!”

”At this rate, you will really defeat me, Ashtel Rex. But I can’t afford to lose today; I can’t afford to die at your hands at the very least.”

”So, forgive me, Ashtel Rex, but I will have to go all out from here onwards.”

Hearing those words, Ashtel narrowed his eyes and took a defensive stance for the first time in this battle as his instincts got triggered and alarms of danger started ringing in his head.

As if the entire world had gone silent all of a sudden, everything suddenly came to an abrupt stop!

The widening cracks in the artificial realm, the broken planet’s debris, and the spilling lava core of the planet, everything got frozen in a single moment.

It was as if someone had clicked the ’Stop’ button of a video; the entire space-time fabric came to a halt!

”This power!?”

The power that the demon king was now showing was extremely familiar to Ashtel Rex, as he had seen it before on many occasions.

Link, Riya, Rio.

Ashtel had seen this power in all of them and had known how overwhelming the force of this power was!

Even Ashtel who had fought the demon king once before had never expected that the Demon King,

Someone who should be hated by all the ’Laws’ of the universe except for miasma would actually have a legendary skill at his disposal!

’How is this even possible!?’

Ignoring the look of disbelief on Ashtel’s face, a smile filled with regret and loneliness appeared on the demon king’s face.

”I wanted to fight you longer, Ashtel Rex, but unfortunately, we don’t have enough time at hand to keep messing around.”

”If I don’t put you down now, you will kill me, Ashtel Rex, so forgive me, but you have forced my hand, and I must use all I’ve got to defeat you right here, right now!!”

[Destined Fate!]

[Destiny Manipulation Martial Art: Change Destiny: Change Current Fate!]

As if the entire universe had become overshadowed by that power and had gone silent due to what the Demon King was doing, everything in the artificial realm came to a stand still.

As the strings of destiny were manipulated by the demon king and frozen on the spot, even Ashtel Rex could not react on time.

Even someone like him had no control over his strings of destinies, and thus he lost the battle in that very moment and was frozen as his strings of destinies were forcefully brought to a halt!

The world’s strongest man, the one who could fight even the strongest calamities head-on, was defeated in a single strike,

The legendary skill ’Destined Fate’ was just that overpowered and unreasonable of an ability.
