Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 859: Flower

”Space Bracelet?” Flora sucked in a cold breath.

”Yes. As its name implied, itʼs a bracelet with a space element. It only has one function, which is to store an item and take it out. This way, we donʼt have to worry about our luggage anymore. For now, the size is about a third of this room.”

Flora was utterly speechless. Nathan was already abnormal, but what he had just done was even more abnormal. ”Do you know what you just did?”

”Yes.”

”If you know… do you understand what it means to create an artifact? And this artifact is not just an ordinary artifact but a very important one. Do you know what your Space Bracelet can do?”

”Of course, Iʼm aware of everything. Besides, I donʼt plan to create a lot of them. I just want to make our travel much more convenient. I donʼt even plan to show it to other people we end up encountering out there.

”Itʼs just for our group.” Nathan shrugged. ”I know the potential of this Space Bracelet, but since you guys will see it sooner or later, I might as well show it now.”

”You…that…wha—!” Flora couldnʼt even form a proper sentence anymore. She took several deep breaths before saying, ”You can even make an artifact?”

”Yeah. The cloud-repelling device is such a thing.” Nathan nodded.

”…”

Nathan couldnʼt help but chuckle. ”This is just the prototype, so the storage itself can be bigger once the complete product is done. Maybe I can use this artifact to bring a small house or something so that we can sleep in a bed during an expedition?

”Either way, Iʼm currently planning to give you guys at least one per person. I will bring two for myself, considering I need it for my solo travel in the near future. Maybe one for my teacher and four more for the person who helps me make this artifact.

”So, eleven… No, twelve, if we include this prototype. It wonʼt be enough to destroy a country or anything and I donʼt plan to use it as a tool of war either. I just want to make our lives more convenient,” explained Nathan.

Flora lowered her head, staring at the rose. She pinched the bridge of her nose before saying, ”I donʼt know what to say anymore.”

”Then say nothing. Instead, why donʼt you try it?” Nathan took off the bracelet. ”The principle is easy. Just envelop the object with your ena while activating the outer magic circle. If you want to take it out, use the second magic circle to trace that object within the bracelet and activate the outer magic circle again. Thatʼs all.”

”Well, has anyone tried it before?”

”Nope. I just finished making it, so you are the first one.” Nathan shook his head.

Flora hesitated for a moment before nodding her head. She carefully put on the bracelet and stood up. She was even more nervous than he was during the experiment.

Flora concentrated and started following his instruction. The rose disappeared and reappeared several seconds later, showing that even Flora could use it. With this, everyone could definitely use it.

The ability to store items was simply too overpowered. They could bring preserved food or even spare weapons.

During an expedition, people often lose their luggage or cores during the chase. Having this item could stop such accidents from happening.

More importantly, he could even bring out explosives or other weapons to do whatever he wanted. That was why this item was much more dangerous than most artifacts.

”Still, does this mean you can store a human?” Flora asked.

”If you want them to die, then yes.” Nathan nodded. ”Itʼs inside the void, and a human canʼt last there. However, if thereʼs ena trying to mess with the ena to utilize this space ring, it will also stop the ring from functioning.

”So, I donʼt really recommend it. Of course, keep it a secret about this for now. This is just a prototype… Even the complete product is not the final version yet. I might add some safety features in the future, but for now, we can use it.”

”I see.” Flora nodded while taking off the bracelet. ”This is truly a terrifying artifact. Donʼt worry. I will keep it a secret. Even my father will be greedy about having this kind of artifact.”

”I know that.” Nathan smiled wryly. ”For now, Iʼm going to consult my partner to make sure this ring is usable in the long run. Donʼt tell Selena and the others yet. Iʼll tell them once I have the complete product.”

”Sure.” Flora saw Nathan leaving the house with a troubled smile. She couldnʼt help but look at the rose in her hand. ”I really canʼt get used to how absurd he is. At the same time, I canʼt help but anticipate what kind of new thing he will come up with next.”

…

A moment later.

Nathan had returned to the Sleeping Gardenʼs base. He wanted to know Evelynʼs opinion, especially on the strength of the storage space.

After looking for a while, he found Evelyn and Bella in the office.

”Oh. Itʼs Nathan. You come back?” Bella waved her hand.

”Yes.” Nathan nodded. ”Actually, I want to consult the captain with something, so…”

Nathan activated the space bracelet and took out another flower while presenting it to Evelyn. ”I wonder if this lady has time to talk to this humble guy.”

”Ohhh?” Bella widened her eyes in shock, not expecting Nathan to use a space element ability. ”Isnʼt that…”

”You actually succeeded?” Evelyn, who normally put on an emotionless face, couldnʼt contain her shock.

”I was lucky to achieve it one day faster than I expected.” Nathan smiled while holding the flower right in front of Evelyn. ”I want you to check whether itʼs stable enough or not.”

”I see…” Evelyn nodded in understanding.

”…” Nathan smiled wryly because Evelyn hadnʼt grabbed the flower. Even though it was awkward, Nathan shifted his hand to Bella instead.

”Hehehe. Thank—!” Bella wanted to grab the flower to save Nathan from embarrassment, but when she was about to reach for the flower, she noticed it was already gone.

Both of them looked at each other with an awkward smile because they knew Evelyn was the one taking that flower when Nathan tried to offer it to Bella.
