Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 858: Floraʼs Decision

”Nathan. I finally found you!” Flora waved her hand after finding Nathan on the street.

”Is there something wrong?” Nathan asked, clueless.

”I donʼt think this is a good place to say it. Itʼs related to what you said two days ago.”

”Ah!” Nathan nodded in understanding. ”Letʼs go to my house then.”

”Sure.” Flora nodded with a smile. It didnʼt take too long for them to reach Nathanʼs home.

While lighting up the fireplace, Flora said, ”It would be nice if I could move in here as well, but Noelle would feel lonely…”

”Ahahaha. Itʼs fine.” Nathan chuckled. ”Just stay wherever you want. Besides, this place is quite small as well, so once the city has been established, it should be time to make it bigger.”

”Yeah.” Flora sat with a smile.

Nathan sat on the opposite side while asking, ”So, what do you want to tell me?”

”I have thought about this. I donʼt know how much ena is needed, so it might change as well. However, currently, I would like to evolve two of my spirits into great spirits.

”I know this is going to be a burden for you, but Iʼll do my best not to inconvenience you in any way. First of all, I wonʼt ask you to absorb the cores. I will use the device so that it wonʼt take your time.”

”Hoh?” Nathan crossed his arms. ”You are not a bother, so itʼs fine. Still, two spirits, huh? Which two spirits?

”Iʼd like to evolve my Plant Spirit and Lightning Spirit. The former is an all-rounder, which will increase my stability, while the latter is my lifebound familiar.”

Nathan nodded. ”Sure. I donʼt mind. Well, I think itʼs better to wait until my teacher returns. Actually, I plan to acquire an element formally. This time, without any side effects. But that can only happen after my teacher is back.

”So, if you donʼt mind, we can wait for her. Charlotte would definitely like to observe to gather more data about this evolution. Do you mind waiting?”

”No. I will wait for as long as possible. Also, I have prepared items for their evolutions, so you wonʼt have to bear the full burden. I have been gathering those items, but I havenʼt been lucky enough to get all of them, so all my spirits are still ordinary elemental spirits.”

Nathan nodded. ”I understand the situation. Sure, I will help you.”

”There is one more thing.” Flora paused for a moment, as though she was gathering her resolve. ”I would like to summon another great spirit.”

”Hoh?”

”I know that you have been advising us to get a better familiar, so Iʼm sorry… I donʼt think I will ask for your advice. My fighting style revolves around multiple elements. Thatʼs why I would like to summon a great spirit of light.”

Nathan pondered. ”I donʼt think you need to apologize. I just advise people that want to know. If you have made a decision, itʼs good enough for me. Besides, you are the ones who know what you need the most, not me, not anyone else.”

Nathan understood Floraʼs reason by informing him about her choice. He could suggest a name that fulfilled her condition, but the elemental spirits he knew were slightly different from Floraʼs elemental spirits.

He thought the fire spirit would be something like a salamander, but all the elemental spirits were like little fairies with their respective attributes, which were reflected in their appearance.

Hence, he thought it would be better not to suggest anything.

Flora smiled.

Before the conversation ended, Nathan stood up, saying, ”By the way, do you want to see magic?”

”Magic?” Flora tilted her head in confusion. ”I have seen a lot of magic, you know?”

”This one is slightly different.” Nathan had a sly smile on his face as he walked toward Flora. His right hand moved to his back as he channeled his ena into the space bracelet.

The moment he revealed his right hand, he presented a rose to Flora.

”Huh?” Flora widened her eyes in surprise. She certainly felt a bit of ena fluctuation, but there wasnʼt supposed to be anything behind him. It was as if he used that ena to get this rose.

And there were only two possible things. The first one was an illusion, while the second one was the space element.

She hurriedly raised her voice. ”Are you recklessly using that? How can you do this? Weʼre worried—!”

Before she could finish her words, Nathan had already pressed her lips with his finger. ”My lady, I will show you magic.”

A magic circle suddenly appeared around the bracelet as the rose disappeared.

”!!!” Flora was stunned. She couldnʼt think of anything for a second before realizing the absurdity of what Nathan had just done. ʼDid… that bracelet just… activate the space element?ʼ

Nathan then pointed his finger to the left palm while activating the bracelet again. This time, the rose appeared on his left palm as he quickly caught and presented it again. ”For you.”

After realizing Nathan didnʼt use the space element directly, she was in utter shock. There were no complaints coming from her mouth. She just stared at the rose and received it with a dumbfounded expression.

”What did you…”

”You should have seen it. Itʼs not me using my ena to activate my power. Itʼs the power of this bracelet.” Nathan winked playfully.

”A bracelet that can store and take out anything? The space element? But an item that can wield this kind of power… Isnʼt it… an artifact?” Flora hadnʼt seen Nathan get an artifact, so how could Nathan have this kind of thing? Vivian wasnʼt here, so there was no way he received it from her.

Elder Thompson? Dragon King? Both of them might be good, but this artifact was something she had never seen.

”Keep this a secret. This is my new project. For us to be able to go around without getting concerned with our luggage anymore. Space Bracelet.”
