Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 850: Count Ashtonʼs Whereabouts

The next day.

”So, we have 1 warrior class mutant core, 19 warrior class cores, 3 mature class mutant cores, 70 mature class aliens, and…” Flora glanced to the side.

Selena continued her words, ”…and 2 juvenile class mutant cores, 870 juvenile class aliens, and 7,312 proto-class cores.”

”Oh!” They looked impressed by the harvest. The trip only took several days. Although each day was intense, they got more cores than they originally expected.

”How should we split this?” Noelle asked.

”How about splitting evenly between us, except for Nathan? Letʼs see… Nathan was the one making everything possible. I donʼt think giving 40% of the haul will be a problem. Then, we will split the remaining 60% between us.” Selena raised her finger.

”What are you guys talking about? If I get that—” Nathan wanted to stop them, but Flora covered his mouth from behind. She added, ”Sorry, this is not up to you. We wonʼt let you convince us to give you a smaller share.”

”I donʼt think itʼs a bad idea. Itʼs true that his element was the key to our success this time. Besides, he commanded us from start to finish.” Alavenya nodded in agreement.

”No objection.” Noelle smiled.

”Indeed. Itʼs settled then.” Sera puffed her chest as though everything had gone according to plan.

”In that case, we will give him all the mutant cores and 7 warrior class cores, along with 28 mature class cores, 348 juvenile class cores, and 2900 proto-class cores. The rest will be split between the rest of us evenly.”

Nathan looked surprised. With the rough calculation in his mind, the total of ena he could get from the normal cores alone surpassed 250,000 ena, not counting the mutant cores. At least, he would get 300,000 ena from this mission alone.

He never thought the harvest would be this big.

At the same time, the girls couldnʼt be underestimated either. Although they only got 12%, which might be nothing compared to his 40%, their absorption rate far surpassed his. Even the lowest among them had an absorption rate of 90%, with Selena being the highest with a 99% absorption rate.

They were basically 2.8x to 3x of his absorption rate, so the gap between their reward wasnʼt that much. Of course, his absorption rate would increase further when he reached the next quality, but the result wasnʼt that much different.

With an addition of over 300,000 ena, he would have about 400,000 ena in total. He could probably make Fenrir, Jinwu, Nidhogg, and Anubis reach the 100,000 ena mark while still having over 200,000 ena.

At that time, he could summon another familiar to help him. And this familiar needed to be of help for the journey to save Selenaʼs father.

Nathan finally stopped struggling. Flora noticed it and finally let him go.

”Alavenya, Sera. Both of you should stay here and split up the reward. Meanwhile, all four of us will go to meet Duke Sullivan to get the reward,” suggested Flora.

”Thatʼs fine by me.” Alavenya nodded.

”Sure.” Sera waved her hand.

Now that they had reached an agreement, the girls ended up leading Nathan to Duke Sullivanʼs office, not finding Layfon, who usually accompanied him, inside.

Duke Sullivan looked at Nathan and the three girls. No one was saying anything. It appeared that Nathan wanted to hide it, so there was no reason to discuss the absolute ice element. He had reported it anyway, so instead of discussing it, which might result in provoking him, it was better to talk about something else.

Duke Sullivan nodded. ”Congratulations. You have passed my mission. Your efforts are commendable, and your command is accurate. The alien territory is dangerous, but I believe you can find a way to go through it and eventually reach that place, especially if you get even stronger after absorbing the core.

”I hope that before leaving, you will absorb all those cores first and get even stronger. However, thereʼs a problem.

”Although I can tell you about his whereabouts, there is one problem… a big problem.” Duke Sullivanʼs expression turned grim, as though he was using his last trick to stall them.

Nathan waved his hand nonchalantly while asking, ”Are you talking about the bloodstone or the fact that his body is in the suspended state?”

”Hmm?” Duke Sullivan raised his eyebrows. ”You know about it?”

”Duke Coline told us about it.”

”Tsk. That blabbermouth.” Duke Sullivan clicked his tongue.

”We are already aware of his current situation. Actually, there might be a solution.” Nathan raised one finger. ”Weʼre planning to use an ancient summoning circle.”

”!!!” Sullivanʼs body shook as he couldnʼt help but think, ʼAn ancient summoning circle? Although I donʼt know the exact thing, I have heard some rumors that itʼs more complex because we have to separate everything… No, separate everything?ʼ

”Are you trying to sacrifice only the bloodstone, which will result in freeing Count Ashton?” Sullivan asked.

”Technically.”

”But thereʼs not much record about an ancient summoning circle.”

Nathan smiled. ”Well, we do have someone who can do it for us. Sheʼs Fairy Queen Charlotte. In fact, weʼre planning to consult her about this matter. If she thinks itʼs possible, weʼre planning to proceed with the rescue mission. If not, we will think about another solution before going. We want to save him, not kill him after all.”

”…” Sullivan remained silent for a while before sighing. He had lost. ”Alright. Take this with you.”

Nathan looked at the book. ”What is this?”

”Itʼs all the information about that place. There was once a barbaric general under Asura. Asura rewarded him with this bloodstone, which symbolized his position as a general for Asura Palace.

”The location of your father is inside the palace, where this barbaric general stays. The map and all the details about that place, including the route, are inside that book, so you may study it first before going.

”Is there anything youʼd like to know? Or has that blabber… I mean, did Duke Coline tell you everything you want?”

Nathan nodded. ”Yes. As long as we know the route, we should be able to go there. Weʼll make sure we have enough preparation before going there.”
