Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 809: Alien World

”Portals?!”

All of them couldnʼt help but focus on Layfon.

Layfon nodded with a serious expression. ”According to the legend, there are portals deep in the former Ashura Palace territory. Their exact locations are unknown, but if we are able to destroy them, we can actually win the war.

”After all, the aliens wonʼt be able to enter our world anymore.”

”Are you… serious?” Nathan furrowed his eyebrows.

”Yes. Then again, something like this wonʼt be taught in the academy. After all, itʼs just a legend, and no one has proven it yet.

”If this is taught in the academy, it can rouse the studentsʼ spirits, but at the same time, it might make them do reckless things. After all, not even world class summoners would dare to go deep into the alien territory.

”While itʼs true that there are a lot of aliens here, compared to the depth of the alien territory, this is like heaven. There, itʼs rumored to have many strong aliens, like so many elite class aliens that you canʼt count them on your fingers.

”The academies would definitely not send their students to their death just because of this dream. Rather than sending them like this, itʼs better to advance together little by little. Eventually, we will reach that place and prove whether the portals are real or not.”

Nathan crossed his arms. ”Isnʼt that stupid? I mean, even if itʼs real, canʼt the aliens rebuild the portals? I mean, according to history, there was a huge alien appearing in the sky and bringing the aliens, no?”

”Yes. The first generation of aliens. Well, no one has made a concrete plan. They might be going through that portal to the aliens territory as a suicide squad to kill the alien responsible for the portal. This way, no other portals can be made anymore.

”At the same time, it might make them unable to go back. Thatʼs why nothing concrete can be said about this. We have to continue to push the aliens back until we can confirm the portalsʼ existence.” Layfon shrugged.

The girls nodded in agreement. Only Nathan looked down, falling into deep thought.

ʼIf Iʼm not wrong, from the legend that Charlotte told me, Yog-Sothoth was the culprit of the portal.

ʼWell, Iʼve read that he has space-time manipulation ability. Can we even defeat something like that?

ʼHowever, if my theory is correct regarding the alien raceʼs current state, we might end up working together with the aliens to fight against the black cell, which might be the real enemy all along.

ʼAlthough I have some information about the aliens, I know almost nothing about the black cell.

ʼAll I know is that the black cell is extremely powerful. If theyʼre not, thereʼs no way they can control someone like Yog-Sothoth.

ʼStill, if the portal is real and we can go to their world, we can bring the fight to them.ʼ

Nathan let out a long sigh, not expecting to come to this realization. He might have been too focused on human territory this whole time.

ʼOr maybe Iʼm just too occupied with the business here? Then again, Iʼm still getting stronger. People keep saying that you will know more as you grow stronger. This is definitely not me coping.ʼ Nathan thought to himself.

”Whatʼs wrong, Nathan?” Selena asked, noticing his expression. ”Did you figure out something?”

”Not really.” Nathan waved his hand while adding inwardly, ʼThe knowledge about the aliens canʼt be spread yet because I myself still havenʼt confirmed it. However, if thereʼs an intelligent alien hiding somewhere in this world, meeting them will definitely allow me to confirm it and figure out what I should do in this world.ʼ

”Well, do you have any other questions?” Layfon asked.

Nathan shook his head. ”No. Thank you for answering my question.”

”Itʼs fine. My answer comes from the legend, so itʼs not confirmed either. You can think of it as a fairy tale that we tell to our kids.”

Nathan chuckled and resumed their journey.

On the way, they met two more waves of enemies. The strongest out of them was a mature class mutant.

However, with the combined effort of the team, the mature class mutant died without being able to do much. At the same time, the number of aliens they had killed on this trip was approaching one thousand.

Finally, they reached their destination on the first day, the twin hills. There was a pair of hills standing side by side. The hill itself wasnʼt tall, but they were enormous.

Nathanʼs group was camping on the first hill, specifically on top of a steep slope.

Nathan sent out Jinwu to scout the area, specifically the area that was said to be the nest of the alien, while he pondered about their plan.

Selena and Flora were preparing for their sleeping quarters while Sera and Alavenya searched for firewood. Noelle was in charge of the protection, making sure there were no aliens around.

”The alien world, huh?” Nathan mumbled while sitting on the edge of the slope. ”Should I go there? If I want to reach that place, I probably have to make Fenrir and the others return to their peak.

”However, if I want to fight outer gods, I probably need to evolve them one more time.

”Maybe I should really go to another continent first. They might have information that we arenʼt aware of yet. No, they might even have made contact with this intelligent alien.

”If my theory about them is correct, the continent where those psychos who caused the Bloody Banquet definitely had more advanced technology…”

Nathan couldnʼt help but raise his head, thinking, ʼAfter seeing everything in this world… Maybe my reincarnation here is not a coincidence… I should probably find out the truth first before I can think about whether I should tell the girls about it or not.ʼ

While he was in deep thought, unbeknownst to him, there were two girls approaching him from opposite directions.

The first one was Noelle, while the other was Brunhild.

Meanwhile, Layfon, who involuntarily found them due to his heightened sense as an arcane level summoner, only muttered with a gentle smile. ”Youth…”
