Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 827: Inside Explosion

Even though she had just killed a warrior class alien, there was not a single shred of joy on her face. She just screamed while smashing her head to the ground. ”Aaaahhhh!”

A few bones proceeded to break and out of ten fingers, eight of them were dislocated after pushing her hand to the absolute limit.

It was a power that she could attain in the future, but her body had yet to be ready to withstand that power. As a result, it caused her pain multiple times greater than the worst pain she had ever experienced.

Her tears and saliva simply leaked out, and the anger clouded her vision.

Fortunately, Anubis rushed toward her and extended his bandages. He first put the fingers into the correct position with the bandages before applying his ability to restore her bones.

”You are one hell of a person. However, I like you, little girl. I might be able to heal those injuries every time you use that power, but your courage in fighting against the pain in order to defeat the opponent before you has moved me. Is the fire in your heart still blazing?”

”!!!” Alavenyaʼs face was a mess. She looked stunned when the pain was gone in just a moment. It was clear that her mind was already a mess since she should have expected the pain to be gone instead of being shocked.

Alavenya opened her mouth several times but had a hard time speaking a single word. She ultimately slapped herself as though she were trying to gain her composure back.

”I… am… ready.” Alavenya gritted her teeth, showing her will to fight.

”Get two minutesʼ rest. Charging ahead with that mind will get you killed even if thereʼs no warrior class alien. I believe thatʼs what he wants you to do as well.” Anubis glanced at Nathan.

Alavenya gulped down before biting her lips. ”Yes…”

Anubis nodded. ”Good. I will go back and leave behind my guardian to protect you until you recover your sanity.”

Before Anubis left, Alavenya said a word that she rarely said in her life. ”Thank you.”

”!!!” Anubis halted his step but didnʼt turn his head. Instead, he just smiled and leaped away. Still, he didnʼt forget to say, ”Youʼre welcome.”

…

On the other side, Nathan was smiling. ”It seems she has killed that alien and itʼs not even 10 minutes. She has managed to do it with minimal support from her familiars. Amazing, isnʼt she? I donʼt feel like losing.”

Now that the humanoid alien had died, it was time for Nathan to get serious. Alavenyaʼs familiars could finally focus on the lower-level aliens and Anubisʼ healing ability would cover them as well. So Nathan didnʼt have to support everyone anymore.

The warrior class alien was already quite injured by Fenrir. Of course, Fenrir had been injured, albeit Anubis kept healing him.

Seeing the current situation, Nathan gave an order. ”Fenrir. We will kill the warrior class alien in one shot.”

”!!!” Fenrir looked surprised, not because of the boldness of his claim, but because of what he was thinking. Dealing with this snake-like alien was similar to dealing with his brother.

Nathan didnʼt have the capability to crush his outside, so there was only one more path for him to take.

With that thought in mind, Fenrir charged forward. ”Got it!”

The alien sprang toward him and opened its mouth.

Fenrir bit one of its jaws. The other jaws were trying to close so that it could swallow Fenrir and skewer his head, but Fenrir ripped the jaw apart instead.

”You are not as tough as my brother.” He harrumphed while spitting the jaw away before landing on top of the alien.

The alien moved its body as though it wanted to strangle him, but Fenrir was the first one to hug it instead.

”!!!” The alien didnʼt know what Fenrir was trying to do, but since the opportunity came, it wrapped Fenrir with its long body.

However, before Fenrir was fully restrained, he managed to grab the other four jaws with his paws and feet before pulling them back, exposing the giant throat.

The alien was shocked because there was another presence appearing before it all of a sudden.

It was Nathan.

”Artillery.” Nathan combined two explosive bullets, but this time, he didnʼt split them like usual. Instead, he kept it together.

”!!!” The alien instantly realized what Nathan was trying to do. It struggled but couldnʼt break free from Fenrir. If that Artillery entered its mouth, it would definitely blow him up from the inside.

Seeing that Fenrir refused to let go, the alien chose to drag him down together by wrapping him tightly so that he couldnʼt get away.

Anubis squinted his eyes and immediately changed his Synchronization, replicating Seraʼs Synchronization where she imbued a part of a weapon to create overwhelming power.

This time, instead of a weapon, he applied it to Fenrirʼs body, specifically his fur.

Fenrir also activated his absolute body to strengthen his defense.

Nathan then tossed the giant explosive into the alienʼs mouth before activating his barrier to protect Fenrir.

The Artillery shone brightly inside the alienʼs body before exploding, engulfing everything around it.

*Boom!*

The alienʼs body burst into the sky and splattered on the ground.

Meanwhile, Fenrir was getting knocked away, but he still managed to spin his body midair so that he would land on his feet. His body was scorched, but he just smirked because Anubis was healing him. He soon cleaned up the scorched area with his paw.

”Hehehe. Youʼre not as tough as my brother. Thatʼs why you lose.” Fenrir harrumphed. ”Why so easy?”

”Master. Weʼve got a big problem.” Pengʼs voice rang in their heads right after Fenrir trash-talked the alien.

”…” All of them couldnʼt help but have their faces darkened.

”Stupid.” Anubis shook his head helplessly.

”Heh?” Nidhogg had a smug smile, as if saying, ʼI knew it.ʼ

Jinwu just covered his face with his wings.

”Oi, Fenrir. I taught you how to trash talk, but I have always reminded you to be careful when doing it. It can mess with your enemy, but if you use it carelessly, you can even jinx yourself!” Nathan shouted.
