Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 42 The Powerful Elite Troll

Chapter 42 The Powerful Elite Troll

Of course, although he complained that recruiting soldiers consumed too many resources, he did not hesitate in his actions.

Directly chose to recruit one.

”This, this, you told me to call me a defense warrior!”

Guo Xiuwen knew that the first soldier recruited by each military branch nest would be an elite unit.

But he didn’t expect that the trolls of the elite unit would be so powerful.

First of all, the opponent has one more skill than ordinary monsters, throwing.

The effect of this skill does not need to be said, the powerful attack power and the accompanying beheading effect are just one aspect.

The most important thing is that with this skill, the troll can also be regarded as a means of long-range attack.

If the opponent had this skill during the fight just now, Guo Xiuwen might have already GG.

”It’s terrible. In the future, it seems that we still need to find a few more bodyguards. In other words, do I need to increase my physique? The beheading tactic is terrible.”

Guo Xiuwen patted his chest in fear, then stared at the giant monster and giggled.

If it is said that the throwing skill with many monsters, it can be regarded as adding a trump card to himself, and improving a method of attack.

Then the opponent’s racial talent is a powerful auxiliary means comparable to the golden tiger king of beasts.

Moreover, the King of Beasts is limited to beast soldiers, but the troll’s rage only needs to target friendly troops.

If it weren’t for the quantity limit and the 50% increase in energy consumption when anger is ignited, it could definitely be called a divine skill.

”Cultivation, we must focus on training!”

Accepting another strong soldier again, Guo Xiuwen couldn’t hide the joy on his face.

Then he looked at the troll camp again and was stunned.

The camp clearly still had four chances to recruit, but he remained indifferent.

Because the resources in his hands are no longer enough.

The troll camp is not within his territory, and the cost of recruitment needs to be doubled.

Yesterday, the remaining resources in his territory were only a little over 4000 units. It took a full 3000 units to recruit this giant monster.

”Hey, I can only take a look at the harvest of today’s hunting.”

Tomorrow is the last day of the novice protection period. Guo Xiuwen has already made a decision. No matter how boring, tomorrow night, he will try his best to enhance the immediate combat power of his territory.

For this goal, even soldiers like trolls who seem to be very suitable as bodyguards, if it is too late to recruit, he will give up without hesitation.

He now still has the method of raising the level of soldiers to increase the combat effectiveness of the territory, but because of the lack of resources, he has never done it.

If nothing else happened, the troll camp would definitely not stay until tomorrow. Before returning today, regardless of whether he could recruit the remaining four trolls, he would choose to destroy the camp and harvest a wave of resources.

Of course he knew that doing this was fishing at the bottom of the river, but he couldn’t help it. The pressure from the skeletons and ghosts made him unable to relax at all.

If he didn’t know, he could still wait for the novice protection period to pass.

After all, with his current development, he is not sure whether he is number one among all the lords.

But it can definitely be regarded as a small group of lords who have developed very well.

And the reason why I can’t guarantee that I belong to the best developed ones.

It’s because he still doesn’t know how big the lord’s world is, and how many lords descended.

And he knows very well that some European emperors are completely unreasonable.

For example, the neighboring lord who sneaked up on him before, as soon as the opponent came out, he was holding a half-elf archer with a black iron step in his hand.

As for Guo Xiuwen himself, without the help of plug-ins, his initial unit is just an ordinary gray wolf.

In the face of difficulties, it is obviously not his style to choose to lie down and give up resistance.

On the contrary, he will try his best to find a chance of survival. Only then will he be willing to win or lose.

Therefore, he has already made plans for the last two days, and must do everything possible to make good use of all the resources at hand.

At the beginning, he only destroyed a tiger’s lair on the black iron step, and he harvested more than 2000 units of resources, among other things.

Now if you destroy a Bronze Rank troll camp, you will definitely gain a lot.

Although compared to sitting in a camp with a steady stream of explosive soldiers, this approach can be regarded as self-defeating.

But in case he couldn’t survive the skeleton and ghost impact after the novice protection period, keeping these would only be cheaper for others.

Although I have guessed before, the result may not be as bad as I imagined.

But he didn’t dare to put all his hope in conjecture, because this was a real world.

And it is precisely because this is a real world that there is no need to speak of any logic.

Guo Xiuwen had already thought about it. If the territory really couldn’t hold on, he would take his soldiers and try to find a way out.

After all, the system did not say what would happen to the lord after his territory was broken.

Not to mention, when he saw that the heart of the territory was needed to upgrade the territory, he had already guessed that since many troop lairs could be established, could multiple territories be established as well.

He is already ready for guerrilla warfare, of course he will not leave a lair of troops that does not belong to the territory here.

Time passed quickly, and when the last gray wolf returned empty-mouthed, Guo Xiuwen looked at the harvest in front of him and remained silent.

Food +2800 units!

There was no way, according to Aria, after the desolate forest was invaded by the undead, a large number of animals and plants died and withered.

Only a very small number of lives survived tenaciously.

There are even a lot of lives that have appeared recently. Of course, all of this is related to the coming of the lord.

So unfortunately, Guo Xiuwen didn’t gain much.

Even if all the food is consumed, plus other resources left yesterday, it will only be enough for him to recruit one more troll.

Added an easter egg of Alia, everyone can go to Kangkang.

By the way, why are there no comments...
