Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 6 Wild Monster Lair: Tiger Den

Chapter 6 Wild Monster Lair: Tiger Den
The labor problem shouldn’t be difficult to solve, but he didn’t know where to look for the iron ore workshop.

This feeling of occupying the treasure mountain without knowing where to start is like standing in front of a bright and attractive beauty without clothes, and there are only the two of you in the whole room.

The other party said, you have to have a Simmons bed.

The truth is such a truth, but at the critical moment, where to get Simmons?

Guo Xiuwen felt that in the early stage of this kind of advent, there should not be particularly difficult conditions. After all, resource points must be mined in the early stage.

So he chose to wander around the mine.

Sure enough, as he turned the hillside and saw a dark cave, he knew he had guessed correctly.

【Ding!You found a tiger den!
The strength of the tiger is as high as the black iron rank!
Before you have enough strength, don’t rush to challenge! 】

Before he could get close to the lair, a system prompt appeared in front of him.

After seeing this system prompt, Guo Xiuwen breathed a sigh of relief, because it was obvious that the resource point was not without wild monsters stationed there.

It’s just that the iron ore resource, the wild monsters guarding it, have already been killed by him first.

The system prompt did not make him stop, on the contrary, he walked faster.

However, when he was about to approach the tiger’s den, he deliberately stopped, then picked up the bone stick, and knocked on the iron mine outside a few times, deliberately making a little noise.

when!when!when!
After knocking several times in a row, no tiger suddenly jumped out of it, so he was a little relieved.

It seems that just as he thought, there are no other tigers in the tiger’s den.

However, he still didn’t go in directly, but squatted down, picked up a few pieces of iron ore from the ground, and threw them directly into the tiger’s den.

As the stone continued to go in, there were bursts of faint echoes from inside, but when there was still no other movement, he was completely relieved.

When he stepped into the tiger’s den, he couldn’t help covering his nose due to the unpleasant smell.

A tiger is a creature that uses smell to announce its territory. Of course, the tiger den it lives in cannot smell good.

Fortunately, I don’t know if it’s just to accommodate a fierce tiger. The cave is not too deep, so the light is not too dark.

He didn’t go far before he found that he had reached the end of the cave.

At the end of the cave, there is an open flat stone slab, and in the center of the flat, there is a tiger-shaped stone sculpture.

Although the appearance is different, Guo Xiuwen recognized it at a glance. This stone sculpture is similar to the stone sculpture at the entrance of the gray wolf’s lair in his territory.

It seems that this is something that all troop lairs will have.

He took a few steps forward and was stopped by a transparent barrier.

Looking down, a string of numbers quickly appeared in front of him.

【Tiger Den】

[Level: Black Iron]

Available arms: Tiger (Black Iron)
Number of recruits: not recruitable
Number of recruits per week: unknown
Recruitment needs: unknown
Durability: 100/100
Seeing the final durability, Guo Xiuwen didn’t know what to do.

He first raised his fist and slammed it on the barrier.

The barrier shook suddenly, and after a while, the final durability became: 99/100
He punched it several times in a row, and found that each time it lost a little durability.

Then he lifted the tiger bone and smashed it down heavily, only to find that it also lost a little durability.

So he had some guesses, whether when attacking a lair or a territory, the rule of durability drop was that once attacked, a little durability would be lost.

However, his current strength is not strong, and he has no skills, so this situation cannot be fully confirmed.

Even if he was thinking about something in his heart, the hundred attacks were quickly completed, and as the bone stick was swung down for the last time, the barrier clicked, and a reminder popped up in front of him again.

【Ding!Congratulations on breaking a nest (Black Iron), you can choose to occupy/abandon/destroy! 】

As he expected, when the durability of the lair was exhausted, he could proceed to the next step.

Guo Xiuwen focused on the three options. When he came into contact with the options, a detailed introduction popped up again.

[Occupation: After the troop lair is occupied, it will become a building in your territory.

The lord can recruit troops from the lair to fight for you by consuming resources.

Note 1: After occupying the wild nest, soldiers need to be sent to guard it. Other lords can attack and occupy it.
Note 2: The wild lair is not within the coverage of the lord’s territory. After occupying it, the defense power will be reduced by half, and the recruitment cost will be doubled! 】

[Abandon: Let the wild troop lairs be left alone, and the lairs will become wild monster camps again.

The camp will refresh wild monsters normally every week, and there is a chance to refresh elite-level or leader-level wild monsters.

Note 1: One elite unit must be refreshed every month in the wild monster lair!
Note 2: A leader unit must be refreshed every year in the wild monster lair! 】

[Destroy: Destroy the troop lair. According to the lair level, you must get a certain amount of basic resources, and there is a certain chance to get some high-level resources, architectural blueprints, and territorial hearts.

Note 1: 100% of the troop lair that is destroyed for the first time will drop a troop lair heart of the same level!
Note 2: After the wild monster lair is destroyed, there is a certain chance to refresh again, and the refresh level changes with the environment! 】

Three choices correspond to three different harvests.

If you choose to occupy, then Guo Xiuwen will immediately have at least one more tiger under his command, and as long as he is not occupied by others in the future, he will always have one more soldier than others.

Although the system prompts that because the tiger’s den is not covered by his territory, not only does it need to send soldiers to guard it, but the recruitment cost is doubled.

But he has seen the strength of the tiger with his own eyes. Even the gray wolf of the black iron rank he owns, even if he is besieged, he almost managed to achieve [-]v[-].

It is equivalent to saying that the advantage of occupying the tiger’s den is that it can increase his immediate combat effectiveness.

Of course, the disadvantage is that you need to disperse your troops in the early stage, and you need to recruit more resources and follow-up food.

If you choose to give up, new wild monsters and tigers will appear later.

With preparation, his territory will have an additional source of experience and food, and it seems that the lair will refresh elite units and leader units.

If it is killed, more good things will definitely explode.

It is equivalent to saying that if you give up the tiger’s den, the advantage is that you have one more point to spawn monsters.

The disadvantages are also obvious. The tiger’s lair is so close to the territory, especially since there is an iron ore resource point here. If the refreshed elites and boss monsters are too powerful, then his territory will be embarrassing.

If you choose to destroy it, you can do it once and for all.

Moreover, the harvest from the destruction is also considerable. There is no need to say more about the basic resources. He didn’t even recruit all the soldiers from the gray wolf’s lair because he lacked enough resources.
