Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 18 Attack on Resource Points

Chapter 18 Attack on Resource Points

Right now he doesn’t have much information, and he doesn’t know the difference between ordinary resources and rare resources.

The only thing that can be guessed is that as the levels of troop nests and territories continue to increase, rare resources will definitely be used in the future.

Maybe even recruiting soldiers in the future may use rare resources.

Of course, this is not the point.

The point is that Guo Xiuwen has already tried to upgrade the gray wolf lair.

Then I got a prompt from the resource management system.

That is the resource management system, which can indeed replace rare resource crystals with common resources.

It’s just that, if it is really replaced, one unit of rare resources will need to consume a hundred units of ordinary resources to replace it.

In other words, if the 100 units of crystals required to upgrade the gray wolf lair to the bronze level were replaced by ordinary resources.

Then you need a full 10000 units of basic resources.

Even under the operation of the resource management system, the resources required for upgrading are halved, and it still needs to consume 5000 units of ordinary resources.

Plus the 5000 units of common resources originally needed, this is all the resources needed to upgrade the gray wolf lair to the bronze base.

It takes so much resources to upgrade the lair, Guo Xiuwen naturally looks forward to how powerful the bronze-based gray wolf is.

With anticipation, he spent the second night in the territory.

That night, he slept soundly.

But at dawn, after Guo Xiuwen received a series of prompts on the panel, he knew that today’s hunting plan might be ruined.

[Ding, the iron ore workshop has been attacked, and your tigers are in battle! 】

【Your tiger has been defeated! 】

[The tiger is dead! 】

Three messages in a row caused him, who thought he was strong, to lose a strong player.

After seeing the news of the tiger’s death, the first thing Guo Xiuwen thought of was the huge footprints he saw when he went to fetch water yesterday.

The strength of the tigers on the Black Iron Steps is not average, at least according to the goblins, within half a sun’s distance, apart from the gnolls, the tigers are the most dangerous.

But now the tigers were killed by the attackers where they originally belonged.

Then the attacker’s strength is naturally extraordinary.

He had some doubts about whether other lords were involved, so for safety’s sake, Guo Xiuwen set off with Gray Wolf, Golden Tiger, and Broken Bone.

At the same time, he also reminded the goblins in the logging hut to run into the territory if they encountered danger.

As for Goblin Big Green, he arranged to defend the stone resource point, and at the same time protect and transport resources back to the territory in the afternoon.

After making arrangements, everyone walked towards the iron ore resource point.

The prompt was a bit strange. After the workshop was attacked, after the tiger died, there was no prompt again. Now he needed to determine the situation of the iron ore workshop and whether it was still in his hands.

Proceed carefully along the way, and finally reached the iron ore resource point, and found no surprises.

And to his surprise, seeing them coming, ten goblins rushed out of the iron ore workshop, but they were not attacked.

”Master, help, master!”

The goblins were trembling with fear.

”what happened?”

Since there were still people around, Guo Xiuwen of course chose to ask about the situation first.

”A giant monster, a giant monster attacked our side. He seemed to be looking for food. After killing the tiger, he left with the corpse!”

The goblin was obviously frightened and confused, and Guo Xiuwen listened for a long time before sorting out the main content of what they said.

Then he looked at the traces of the battle not far ahead, and found the footprints he had seen by the spring before.

Knowing the identity of the attacker, Guo Xiuwen was not relieved.

Since this giant already knew that there was food here, he would definitely come here next time after he finished eating the tiger’s carcass.

This resource point has a full 10000 units of resources. If it is fully mined, it will take almost eleven days to fully mine it.

If you don’t get rid of this giant monster, you need to worry about mining resources these days.

But if you really want to kill the giant monster, it is not so easy.

The strength of the tiger is not low. Three reminder messages were sent out almost in succession. Goblin also saw with his own eyes that the tiger was almost beaten to death without any resistance.

Seeing such a powerful body, Guo Xiuwen worried that he would lose too much by killing the giant monster.

After thinking about it, he still didn’t want to give up the resource point of iron ore.

So he continued to lead the team, followed the footprints left by the giant monster, and went to look for the opponent’s figure.

He was going to confirm whether the troll was alone or with other partners, and then decide how to deal with it based on the actual situation.

This pursuit lasted for most of a day, and only then did the gray wolf running at the front send back the news that the giant monster had been discovered.

The place where the troll settled was a valley.

Guo Xiuwen stopped them from moving forward. He carefully climbed to the top of the mountain and looked down from above.

Seeing the powerful being in the valley who was over two meters tall, with bulging muscles all over his body, like a rock, he immediately gave up the idea of attacking the opponent immediately.

【Troll】【Banshi】

【Intelligent Race】【Bronze】

Level: LV3(19/300)
Power: 18
Constitution: 21
Agility: 10
Spirit: 7
Skills: Heavy Attack (200% of the attack power will burst out in the next attack, depending on the strength attributes of both parties, it may cause dizziness, bone crushing and other effects),

Three consecutive attacks (the troll charges for 3 seconds and launches three consecutive attacks, causing 80%, 100%, and 150% damage to the enemy respectively. All three consecutive attacks hit, and the target is stunned for 3 seconds)
Racial talent: rock-solid (the body is immune to the damage of general weapon slashing and common beast bite)

Introduction: Hey, are you not full?

Now Guo Xiuwen knew the reason why the fierce tiger got up its braids so soon after encountering the giant monster.

It turned out that the opponent was a wild monster with bronze strength.

Just kidding, with the opponent’s strength, to put it mildly, it wouldn’t be too difficult to wipe out the entire group.

There is no way, with his current strength, he will definitely not be able to deal with the bronze-level wild monster.

At the same time, he also became a little curious. Given the distance of the giant monster, the other party should not go to the iron ore resource point to hunt.

Because Guo Xiuwen discovered on the way here that there are many animal groups living near the giant monster, and most of them are herbivores.

It should be the powerful strength of the giant monster, which has caused the beasts to dare not come to hunt.

And the other party has so much food, so it is not possible to hunt and kill tigers just to compete for territory.

In order to figure this out, he did not leave immediately, but lay on the top of the mountain and continued to observe the other party.

Soon, he made a new discovery.

Because he led the soldiers to chase very quickly, after the troll came back, he did not dispose of the tiger’s body until now.

Then he saw that the giant lifted the tiger’s body high and threw it on an altar with a giant stone carving.

In addition to the tiger’s body, there are many other things on the altar.

At a glance, he found wood, stones, iron ore and even some red ore.
