Chapter 1 Lord of the World

Chapter 1 Lord of the World

Guo Xiuwen sat cross-legged in an empty and boundless space, and a virtual panel was suspended opposite.

Looking at the prompt in front of him, Guo Xiuwen hesitated a little.

”It shouldn’t be a problem for me to add points like this. Anyway, as a lord, you don’t have to lead the way.”

That’s what he said, but when it came to the end, he still couldn’t grasp it.

Speaking of it, just a few minutes ago, he was still a hard-working writer sitting in his own home and typing.

Because the code words are a bit tired, I want to fish and play games.

Ah bah, it’s playing games to find inspiration for writing.

In the end, I don’t know if it was cursed by the misunderstood readers, and I was directly drawn into this so-called lord world.

There was information just now, saying that in the world of lords, any creature can start as a lord and conquer the world.

The lord who survived in the end can even become a god, and his life is eternal.

Although he is still skeptical about the information introduced now.

But in the face of such a miraculous thing, he thought about it, even if it was a dream, he would try it first before talking.

So he gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and pressed the start button directly.

”Whether you are strong or not is just a matter of time, but whether you are handsome or not is a matter of a lifetime!”

[During body generation, it was detected that the target’s gender is male, and talents are being extracted based on physical attributes and race]

[Please choose one of the following talents:
Time Master: As a time master, you can know the current accurate time at any time without relying on any tools.

Leaving Home: Dig a hole anywhere to create a well that tastes like the water in your hometown.

Dark Blessing: In places where the light is not bright, you can hide yourself better.

Harmless to humans and animals: With your charisma, enemies will not take the initiative to attack you.

Looking at the four talents in front of him, Guo Xiuwen twitched the corner of his mouth, wondering if he should say it or not.

These four talents don’t look very good.

Thinking that the lord’s world might be in danger, he finally chose the talent [Humans and Animals are Harmless].

[After talent selection, please choose your initial territory from the following backgrounds:

broken human town

Unremarkable Gnoll Deserted Camp
A tribe with a small number of goblins
According to legend, the kobold den that once appeared in Faye

Based on years of writing experience, Guo Xiuwen guessed that this was selecting the initial barracks for the territory.

If you didn’t guess wrong, this step is very critical, directly related to the initial stage of the development of the lord.

Just like choosing talents before, Guo Xiuwen is not very satisfied with these four initial barracks.

Because obviously, the first of the four barracks is obviously human, the second should be a jackal, the third should be a goblin, and the fourth should be a kobold.

In addition to the fact that humans may have a stronger growth rate, among the other three arms, the wolf man may be stronger in combat.

Since there was no specific introduction, after thinking about it, he chose to believe in metaphysics. After all, his own appearance was only a little better than ordinary.

[The background selection is completed, and the coming is about to begin. Please recruit soldiers, collect resources, expand the territory, and work hard to develop! 】

Rumbling--

As the words on the panel quickly appeared, and then gradually faded, Guo Xiuwen found that the space he was in began to shatter, and the originally bright space began to dim.

Then he was in a trance, and found that a stone tablet broke through the ground in front of him, and before he knew it, he was already standing on the ground.

At the same time, he found that he had regained a body. He first touched it with his hands, and then took a look. He found that there was nothing much, but that he had grown a little, and nodded in satisfaction.

Only then did he forget the initial barracks he had chosen, so he decisively stepped out where the lord’s courtyard should be.

After coming outside, a green forest not far away attracted his attention first.

Yes, if the landing point is in the forest, if the danger is not considered, at least there is no need to worry about food and other issues in the early stage.

”Ouch-”

Just when he was full of joy, a gray-furred animal who didn’t know whether it was a wolf or a dog drilled out of a dilapidated cave.

However, although he couldn’t tell from the appearance, from the sound of the other party, Guo Xiuwen felt that he should be a wolf anyway, but he didn’t know whether to bite or not.

For the sake of safety, he moved a little away, but he didn’t expect that after the gray wolf that came out roared, it quickly turned into a stone sculpture entrenched.

Co-authoring is to let him see the goods first.

Guo Xiuwen focused on the dog hole next to him, ah bah, inside the wolf den.

Remarks: An ordinary initial unit lair
The expected jackal suddenly turned into a cute gray wolf, which made him a little bit unacceptable.

”Forget it, let’s see what’s going on in the territory first.”

After hesitating for a moment, Guo Xiuwen stopped entangled, and directly focused on the attributes of the territory that appeared in front of him.

[Territory: Unnamed] [Territory Level: Normal]

[Lord: Guo Xiuwen] [Lord Strength: Normal]

[Territory scope: [-] square meters]

[Territory Buildings: Lord’s Mansion, Gray Wolf Lair]

The attributes of the territory are simple and can be measured clearly at a glance.

Guo Xiuwen focused his attention on the soul crystal, because he found that this thing seemed to be graded.

[Soul crystals are divided into ordinary, black iron, bronze, silver, gold, and colorful according to different energies.
It can be used as a trading currency, and it is also an essential basic resource for soldiers and building upgrades! 】

Unexpectedly, when he concentrated his attention, he actually gave an explanation.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen immediately turned his attention to the nearby troop lair.

[Soldier lairs are divided into ordinary, black iron, bronze, silver, gold, and colorful according to their ranks.]

[Territory, according to different ranks, is divided into ordinary, black iron, bronze, silver, gold, and colorful.]

It’s relatively simple and convenient, and it’s not too complicated.

At the beginning, there is only one lord’s mansion and one barracks. The intention is obvious, and you can guess it without using your brain. The most correct way to open is to recruit soldiers to go out to open up wasteland and compete for resources to develop the territory.

But Guo Xiuwen quickly remembered an important thing.

Because apart from him as the lord, it is impossible to start the game with ten gray wolves collecting resources.

Careless, I should choose the human town.

Ding! The resource management system is loaded!
Suddenly, a voice sounded in his mind again.

This, it’s not that he is fishing, bah, looking for inspiration for writing and playing games.
