Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 34 Harvest and Exit

Chapter 34 Harvest and Exit

After beating the skeleton for so long, he originally thought that the skeleton would not drop anything except experience and merit points.

As a result, the black iron-level skeleton gave him a surprise as soon as it came out.

After the gray wolf killed one of the skeleton shooters, a summoning scroll was dropped.

Guo Xiuwen, who was originally hiding in the forest, approached the battlefield without saying a word.

Fortunately, you don’t need to use your hands to drop things, as long as they are within a few meters, you can rely on the storage backpack to pick them up.

When he got the scroll in his hand, he used it without any hesitation.

When the formation faded away and the light faded away, an ordinary skeleton shooter stood in front of him.

”what--”

Just after he recruited the skeleton shooter, a scream came from Goblin Dalu’s mouth, and Guo Xiuwen followed the scream and looked over there.

I saw several bone arrows stuck in Dalu’s body, and there was even a long knife mark on his chest. At this time, he was running towards the rear. Behind Dalu, a black iron-level skeleton warrior was still chasing and killing.

”Get it done!”

With a thought of Guo Xiuwen, the skeleton archer who had just been summoned raised the bone bow in his hand, pulled it from his chest, and released an extra bone arrow.

whoosh-

The bone arrow pierced through the air and hit the chest of the skeleton warrior who was raising his knife and was about to slash Big Green.

The arrow hit the opponent’s bone, and then flew out. Because of the power of the arrow, the skeleton warrior also took a step back. The bone knife he hacked fell through, and Big Green escaped unharmed and ran back.

”Thank you master!”

However, the situation on Dalu who ran back was not optimistic. Not to mention the bone arrow that had penetrated into his body, his chest had been cut open with a knife. When he was breathing, he could faintly see the red flesh inside through the green skin. offal.

Instead, the wound was black, obviously infected.

”Uh uh uh--”

Sure enough, just after he relaxed, he said a word, and the whole person fell to the ground, unable to move.

Guo Xiuwen saw that the goblin Dalu was about to die, but he had no other way. First, he didn’t have potions, second, he didn’t have healing skills, and third, he didn’t know first aid, so he could only watch him die.

When Da Lu’s body was about to stop moving, he was suddenly surrounded by a green light, and then disappeared in front of his eyes in an instant.

Guo Xiuwen breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the previous system prompts were correct. The trial space they entered would not really die.

Knowing this, he was completely relieved.

Now that he doesn’t have to worry about death, he must try his best to get more benefits in the trial space.

Since the appearance of the Black Iron Skeleton Soldiers, Guo Xiuwen’s speed of obtaining meritorious deeds has accelerated instantly.

It took him half a day before to gather more than nine points of merit, but now he has earned a full dozen points of merit in less than half an hour.

And not only that, all the soldiers under him have accumulated enough experience points to upgrade.

But now he only has 10040 units of wood on him. It is worth considering carefully which soldiers should be upgraded and which soldiers should not be upgraded if it is normal.

But in the current situation, he naturally didn’t need to think about it.

Originally, he still had [-] units of wood left on hand, ready to be used to upgrade the elite units.

It’s just that in the melee, the danger was much more dangerous than he expected. Among them, three black iron-rank gray wolves were seriously injured and were about to die.

At that time, those gray wolves had gathered enough experience to upgrade. Guo Xiuwen chose to upgrade for them based on the idea of serving a dead horse as a living horse doctor.

The result was far beyond his expectations. The three upgraded gray wolves instantly recovered to full capacity while upgrading.

So while he was rejoicing, he also reserved the remaining resources, preparing to use them at the critical moment of the bronze-ranked gray wolves.

Now that he heard that the bronze-ranked gray wolf had accumulated enough experience points, he didn’t immediately let him level up.

Instead, watch them continue fighting the skeletons until every gray wolf is scarred and exhausted and about to lose.

He didn’t hesitate anymore, and directly selected ten bronze-rank gray wolves to upgrade.

As [-] units of wood disappeared, the wounded bronze-level gray wolf suddenly burst into light amid the siege of the skeleton warriors.

Then a moment later, all the injuries on their bodies recovered instantly, and their size also increased by one-tenth.

His body became fierce again, and he once again killed the skeletons surrounding him.

In an instant, many skeletons fell under their attack.

However, when they attacked the skeletons, some soldiers on their own side couldn’t hold on.

Especially the gray wolves of the black iron rank. While rushing left and right, they naturally wear a lot of wounds on their bodies. As the number of ordinary rank skeletons decreases, they are all facing enemies of the same rank, and they quickly support Can’t stop.

puff--

One of the skeleton warriors raised his long knife and slashed at a gray wolf that couldn’t move.

It just waited for it to turn back with the long knife, but it was in vain. Before his long knife arrived, a green light took a step ahead of it, and took away the seriously injured gray wolf.

After the Frost Giant Wolf was shot by a series of bone arrows, its body lay on the ground and could not move, and was taken away by the green light.

Guo Xiuwen had only ten bronze-rank gray wolves and three skeleton shooters around him.

Prior to this, the other nine black iron gray wolves, as well as the Gnoll Broken Bones and the Golden Tiger were all sent out early because of their severe injuries.

There is no way, the number of skeleton soldiers is really too much. These soldiers under Guo Xiuwen have fought so far, except that the bronze-rank gray wolf is one step stronger than the skeletons, and they can cooperate with each other to attack.

The other soldiers had long been dispersed by the black skeletons, beating them one by one until they teleported away.

It’s not that Guo Xiuwen didn’t command the bronze-ranked gray wolf to rescue another soldier in the beginning.

It’s just that he later discovered that if the bronze-rank gray wolf went to rescue other soldiers, although they could be rescued, they would suffer some injuries.

Moreover, even if the black iron-level soldiers stay on the battlefield, it is very difficult to kill the black iron-level skeletons.

The characteristics of skeleton soldiers determine that they will not die easily.
