After hanging up Caie Mitsui’s call, Lin Yi got up and went to the meeting room. At this moment, more than 20 executives of the corporation were all sitting in the conference room, but it was extremely quiet. There was not even a whisper. It was rare for the president to come to a meeting personally.

Everyone was like soldiers rushing to the frontlines. They sat upright and did not dare to be negligent.

A few minutes later, the female secretary pushed open the meeting room door. Lin Yi walked in after her, followed by He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan.

Seeing Lin Yi, everyone’s expressions subconsciously became serious as they waited for the meeting to begin.

The three of them sat down one after another. Lin Yi’s gaze swept across everyone.

“Recently, everyone should have heard about our company’s conflict

with Tesla.”

Everyone nodded. They naturally knew that such a big thing had happened in the company.

If they didn’t know, he wouldn’t be qualified to sit here for a meeting.

When this matter broke out, the executives of the corporation were all amazed by the president’s influence.

An announcement was made, and titans of the semiconductor and electric car industries came forward one after another. In the end, even the officials got involved in this matter.

At one point, Tesla’s market cap had shrunk by more than 200 billion!

From this, it could be seen how terrifying the president’s influence in the financial markets was.

Although he rarely appeared in the company, he was still very reliable.

If the group did not have him, they would not function properly.

“Now, I’m going to do something big with Tesla,” Lin Yi said.

“Chip, mobile phone, and Didi Chuxing are all our main industries. I guess they will start from these aspects, especially in the chip field. This is our main battlefield. Once the other party has any movements or developments in this area, they will announce it immediately.”

“Understood!” one of the executives replied.

“Marketing, PR, go back and put together a few slides of a PowerPoint, announce that we’re going to make cars.”

“All?”

Not just the heads of marketing and public relations, even He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan didn’t expect Lin Yi to make such a move.

“President Lin, can making cars through PowerPoint really work?” asked the head of marketing.

“Previously, Hengda did just that with PowerPoint cars, and then they were called out by state media. If we do the same, wouldn’t that be like openly defying the law?”

“No worries, you can involve the Mitsui consortium from Sunrise Land, Toyota is one of their industries. With such an ally helping us, we can put whatever we want in our PowerPoint,” Lin Yi explained.

“So, our PowerPoint cars are different from Hengda’s. They did it to round up funds, we’re just bluffing. No one’s going to care about us; after all, bluffing isn’t illegal.”

He Yuanyuan, “…”

Tian Yan, “…”

All executives, “…”

“Are you sure we can write whatever? Is there anything that needs to be controlled?” the head of PR asked.

“No need, even if you write that I slept with the president of Mitsui Group it’s fine.”

Hiss…

The expressions of the executives changed dramatically, amazed at Lin Yi’s powerful connections.

Incredible!

“Tian Yan,” Lin Yi spoke softly.

“Yes, President Lin?”

“Handle the coordination with Mitsui Group. Whatever we need from them, just ask. They won’t refuse. Just make your demands confidently.”

“Got it.”

Tian Yan was a little suspicious. If it was just an ordinary relationship, she shouldn’t be able to be so unscrupulous, right?

The PowerPoint slides was probably just bragging.

However, it was hard to tell if President Lin had really slept with the president of Mitsui Group.

After all, the president of Mitsui Group was quite good-looking.

“Yuanyuan.”

“Please speak, President Lin.”

In public, He Yuanyuan acted like a subordinate and spoke seriously.

“Old Qin, Old Liang, Old Gao, you’ll be in charge of the Mitsui Group. We’ll tie them together.”

“Understood.”

“Other than these, the other departments should also be prepared. The opponent this time is quite interesting. Everyone, buck up and get ready to do something big.”

“What if we defeat Tesla and they leave the Huaxia market?” Tian Yan asked.

“Don’t worry, they can’t bear to.” LinYi said.

“If they really leave the Huaxia market, we’ll turn the bragging on the PowerPoint slides into reality. How simple would that be?”

When everyone heard this, they were delighted.

Because this was very likely to be another long-term strategic deployment of President Lin.

“Alright, the meeting will end here. If there’s anything, report it to Director He and Director Tian.”

With that, Lin Yi stood up and prepared to leave.

However, the moment he left, he turned around and said,

“When the various departments go back and check on themselves later, see if any of the employees below are driving Teslas. Give them an additional accident insurance to reflect our company’s employee care.”

Pfft!

The executives couldn’t help but laugh. President Lin was too humorous.

However, he could take this opportunity to talk about it.

After leaving the meeting room, Lin Yi returned to his office and called Alice.

Now, since she held a significant position at Intel, another Meiguon company, her potential to influence Tesla’s strategies esd much greater than initially anticipated. It was important to discuss this matter with her as well.

This way, he could catch them off guard.

After Lin Yi left, Harper and the other two didn’t stay in the teahouse for long and returned to the company together.

“Mr. Harper, what should we do now?” In the office, Yang Tiannan said.

“This sort of thing is very detrimental to our future development. We can’t underestimate Lingyun Group’s influence.”

“I know. Next, I’ll talk to the leaders of the Huaxia government. It won’t be difficult to resolve this matter.”

“I’ve already done this before. You should know Chen Yuanqing, right? He was the one who brought Tesla to Huaxia, but in the end, he told me not to provoke Lin Yi. He said that we can’t afford to offend him.”

“He actually said that?!”

Haber knew about Chen Yuanqing.

Because at that time, he was in charge of connecting with Chen Yuanqing when he came to Huaxia to build the super factory.

It was precisely because he had facilitated this project that he was promoted to vice president two years later.

Therefore, he knew Chen Yuanqing very well.

The other party’s words were enough to prove that this matter was difficult to handle.

That person called Lin Yi was indeed not to be trifled with.

“It doesn’t matter. He’s useless. We can still think of other ways.” Haber thought for a moment and said.

“We can attack Lingyun Group from an economic point of view. This is the most effective sanction.”

Yang Tiannan and Zhao Fenghua looked at each other. The former asked,

“Should we start with the semiconductor industry?”

“Yes, this is a very good breakthrough point,” Haber replied slowly and confidently.

“I will contact Sunrise Land, South Rania, and Jaewon’s semiconductor companies to pressure them. I want them to pay the price for their arrogance!”
