“I don’t want to hear any other excuses. I’ll give you half an hour to call the person-in-charge over,” Lin Yi said.

“Sir, this is a little difficult. The person-in-charge has gone out of town for a meeting. Me hasn’t been in the shop for the past few days. How do you expect me to find him?”

Lin Yi looked at his watch and said.

“This is your own problem . If the person in charge doesn’t appear in front of me within half an hour, you’ll have to bear the consequences.”

“There’s nothing we can do. The person-in-charge has gone to Yanjing for a business trip. He might not even be back in half an hour.”

Zhang Demin looked at Lin Yi, not knowing how he would pursue this matter.

Since their authority was limited, much of their work focused on mediation.

Dealing with the current issue was proving to be a challenge.

“So you’re saying there’s no way to get him back to handle this?” Lin Yi asked coolly.

In reality, Lin Yi believed that any industrial product could potentially have defects.

If a problem arose, addressing it promptly would suffice.

However, the approach of these people truly seemed to immediately dismiss the consumers.

They were eating the food of Huaxia, yet not taking the lives and safety of its people seriously.

Lin Yi wouldn’t entertain these people.

“Yes, it’s true that he won’t be coming back.”

Although the police were here, Mark wasn’t afraid at all. He hadn’t done anything wrong, and so they couldn’t do anything to him.

“You really don’t take this seriously, do you? You dare to argue with me, thinking I can’t deal with you?”

“That’s not what I meant. The main issue is that our leader really isn’t here, and 1 can’t get anyone else to come.”

“Then call someone over from the Tesla headquarters in Zhonghai.”

“This is our shop’s matter. The people at headquarters won’t interfere.”

“Aren’t you guys a little too f*cking pretentious? How dare a dog like you act pretentious in front of us?”

Everyone was shocked. No one expected Lin Yi to curse, including Mark.

“Sir, if you speak like that, we have the right to sue you for personal attacks using your official position.”

“Don’t worry, someone will be here soon, you can sue all you like.”

Zhang Demin and the others didn’t quite understand what Lin Yi meant. Who was going to come?

About half an hour later, a car arrived. Everyone looked intently and realized it was a vehicle from the court.

A man and a woman got out of the car and looked around the crowd, finally focusing on Lin Yi.

He must be the person the leader mentioned, but what was with the uniform?

“Are you Officer Lin Yi?” The man asked.

“That’s me.”

Lin Yi nodded. “There’s a problem with the quality of the cars they are selling. Seal them now and only unseal it after the modifications are completed.

“Okay.”

Stunned.

Everyone who saw this scene was dumbfounded.

This was the first time they had seen such a thing happen in so many years.

“Wait!”

Mark hurriedly said,

“Why are you closing our shop? This is illegal!”

“We’ve been made aware of your actions. It has caused poor public opinion and influence.” The man said,

“Moreover, there are many quality issues with the cars you sell. According to the relevant regulations, 1 order you to modify the goods within the specified time. When the modifications are completed, you can apply for the shop to be unsealed.”

Zhang Demin and the others looked at Lin Yi in surprise. Without a doubt, he was the one who had brought over these people.

But with his status, how could he get these people?

They couldn’t say anything at all.

“No, no, no. I’ll call the manager now and get him to come over and deal with this.”

“Didn’t your person-in-charge go out? Why can he come back now?”

“I’ll call the other person in charge,” Mark said, wiping cold sweat from his brow.

“But you just said that you couldn’t contact any of the people in charge. Now that you can, you’ll be criminally responsible for what you’re doing.”

“I remembered wrongly just now. I’m really sorry.”

With that, Mark went to the side to make a call.

Not long after, a middle-aged man drove over in an E-class Mercedes-Benz.

“Officer, my name is Li Donglin. I’m the manager of this 4S shop. If there’s any problem, you can tell me.”

“The problem is right in front of you. Do you need me to say anything else?” Lin Yi said.

“The brakes have been malfunctioning for more than two months, and the problem hasn’t been resolved yet. Is this really the level of service of your shop?”

“I know about that, but every one of our cars was rigorously tested when they left the factory. There can’t be a problem with it. It must have been caused by this lady’s poor handling.”

“How can you be so sure that your cars are fine?”

“I’m absolutely certain,” Li Donglin said confidently.

“Well then, how about this: you drive this car away, and if it can go 1000 kilometers without any issues, then the responsibility will lie with this lady, and we won’t ask for any compensation.”

Upon hearing this, Li Donglin and the other staff members were all stunned.

They hadn’t expected Lin Yi to make such a move.

With the car having had such issues, who the hell would dare to drive it?!

“Sir, are you joking? This is a client’s car. According to the rules, we can’t drive it.”

Lin Yi turned around and saw the beautiful woman. “Can I borrow this car?”

“Yes, yes, yes.” The woman nodded repeatedly. “Let him drive as he pleases. If nothing happens to him after driving 1,000 kilometers, 1’11 give up.”

Lin Yi looked at Li Donglin. “They don’t have any objections. It’s settled then. Take it and drive 1,000 kilometers. No problem, right?”

Li Donglin looked embarrassed. “It’s just that my driving skills aren’t very good. It won’t be good if 1 bump into something.”

“That’s fine. It’s on me if you knock it,” Lin Yi said.

“If you’re not good at driving, you can assign someone else in the shop to drive.”

“No, no, no. We’re not good at driving either. We can’t drive.”

Seven or eight staff members waved their hands repeatedly and retreated. They had no intention of testing the car.

“What’s wrong? Are you all so afraid of death?” Lin Yi said, “Didn’t you say that the car is fine? Why are you all afraid?”

Everyone looked embarrassed and did not dare to say a word.

“Sir, this is not the way to solve the problem,” Li Donglin said.

“I have an idea. Let’s see if I can handle it like this.”

“Fire away.”

“We’ll take the car to the Quality Surveillance Authority and have them issue a report. If the authorities say it’s an issue with the car, then we’ll deal with it immediately. If not, 1’11 hold her accountable.”

“You can do whatever you want. You can send it anywhere you want,” the woman said.

“Then it’s settled,” Lin Yi said to Zhang Zixin.

“Get a tow truck over here and take it to the Quality Surveillance Authority.”

“Got it, Brother Lin.”

After arranging everything, Lin Yi and the others were about to leave when they were stopped by the beautiful young woman.

“Comrade, can 1 add you on WeChat? You can contact me quickly if there’s any update.”

“Sure.” Zhang Peng took out his phone.

However, the young woman ignored him and looked at Lin Yi, wanting to add him on WeChat..
