Under the tent, the crew saw that two of their teammates had been eliminated.

Liu Guangxian was so angry that he wanted to curse.

They had persisted until the end last year, but this year, two people had been eliminated as soon as they entered. How were they going to continue with the exercise now?

Li Xianghui and Gu Yiran also frowned.

They also knew that their level was a little weak in this team battle, but they did not expect it to be so bad.

Not only were the two of them eliminated, but one of them was also the captain. If news of this spread, it would be embarrassing.

“Old Liu, you guys aren’t doing so hot either, two got taken out just from one snapshot, I’m almost embarrassed for you,” Wei Dalong said.

“Don’t think I don’t know, you guys must have sabotaged us.”

“Don’t talk like that. Even though we are four teams, this competition is about collaborative hostage rescue. We’re essentially on the same side, how could we possibly play dirty?”

Wei Dalong was right. Their common goal was indeed to save the hostages.

However, there was an unwritten rule.

They were to try their best to eliminate the others and ensure the survival of their own people. Only then could they be proud of their victory.

That was why Liu Guangxian claimed that they had been sabotaged.

“Don’t be smug. Although we lost two team members, we still have three people. It’s not certain who will win.”

At this moment, the radio in the factory sounded again.

“Xinshan representative team, Zhou Chenghao and Du Fujiang have been eliminated.”

Liu Guangxian’s expression froze in that instant.

He had just said that there was still hope of victory since he still had three people on his side.

Now, two more had been eliminated in the blink of an eye. Hadn’t he just embarrassed himself?!

Xie Chuncheng couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“Old Liu, what’s wrong with you guys this year? Are your people so bad? Four people were eliminated in just 40 minutes. That’s quite impressive. You lose a person every 10 minutes.”

Liu Guangxian’s face alternated between red and white. If this was not a public place, he would probably have started cursing.

“So what if four people are eliminated? We still have one person left. It’s not clear who will win.”

“If I remember correctly, the last one left is a newcomer. According to your average elimination speed of ten minutes, he should be out in another ten minutes.”

“That might not be the case. I’ve already said that he’s our secret weapon. Maybe everyone else will lose to him.”

“Then we’ll see. We’ve got eight minutes left. Let’s see how long he can hold out.”

Liu Guangxian kept a straight face and did not speak. Although he looked calm on the surface, his heart was as irritable as a volcano erupting.

On the other hand, Li Xianghui’s expression was much calmer.

He was the only one left in the team. He lasted the longest. In other words, he performed the best among them.

Even if he was eliminated now, it could be considered a meritorious service. Thus, his goal would be achieved.

“Where did Lin Yi go? I haven’t seen him for a long time.”

Liu Guangxian muttered and successfully attracted the attention of Li Xianghui and Gu Yiran. They went to the front of the screen and switched between several scenes, but they could not find Lin Yi.

“That’s strange. Where did this kid go?”

“Did he sneak over the wall?” Gu Yiran said.

“That’s impossible. There are people watching outside the wall. If someone jumps out, even if he automatically forfeits, he would still be in the factory. However, we can’t find him at all.”

Thinking of this, the three of them looked at each other.

It did not seem to be a coincidence that he could hide himself under such circumstances without leaving any traces.

Moreover, those who could do this were generally not simple characters.

“Could he be hiding somewhere without showing his face?” Gu Yiran voiced out her thoughts.

“That’s a possibility.”

Liu Guangxian and Li Xianghui agreed with Gu Yiran.

Lin Yi was a novice whose strengths were his good marksmanship and excellent physique.

Even so, he had not been trained in any techniques or tactics, nor did he have any experience in counter-terrorism.

He couldn’t hide himself on the battlefield like a special forces soldier.

The only explanation was that he had found a blind spot and hidden himself.

“It’s the wisest choice for him to do this. After all, he’s not strong and there’s a huge gap between him and others. Hiding first and finding an opportunity to take action is the most rational thing to do right now,” Li Xianghui said.

Liu Guangxian clenched his fists and thought to himself,

“I hope he can persevere a little longer. If he can achieve some results, he would have done us proud.”

At the same time, in the factory, Lin Yi had already climbed to the top of the exchange tower.

They say the higher you stand, the farther you see. At this moment, Lin Yi could survey the entire factory from his vantage point.

However, from such a height, the people below appeared as mere dots, making it extremely difficult to pinpoint targets without the aid of tools.

Fortunately, at this moment, Lin Yi’s extraordinary vision came into play.

Although they were far away, he could still catch a glimpse of the figures below.

On the ground, the people from the other three teams were carefully searching the area.

They weren’t in a hurry to rescue the hostages. They were trying to drag Lin Yi out so that the Xinshan team would be wiped out. Then, the remaining three teams would compete with each other.

However, after searching for nearly an hour without finding Lin Yi, they were getting impatient.

“This kid is quite interesting. He’s a newcomer, so I’m a little impressed that he can hide for so long.”

Zhu Jinyang from the Yuanhe team said.

“It’s indeed quite interesting.” Captain Li Ye smiled and said.

“But don’t be anxious. I’ve already reached a consensus with the other two teams. Let’s get rid of the people from the Xinshan team first before rescuing the hostages. Now, our goal is to find him first.”

“I like this game of cat and mouse,” Zhu Jinyang said with a laugh.

“But don’t be careless. The mission this time is to rescue the hostages. The person who is playing the kidnapper comes from the Zhonghai Garrison, and his level is very high. If he finds out, we will be in a very difficult situation, and we might be eliminated early,” Li Ye said cautiously.

“Don’t worry. Our route is very hidden. As long as we don’t expose ourselves, no one will be able to find us. Even if the other party is from the garrison area, there’s no need to be afraid. No one can find us.”

BANG!

At that moment, everyone heard a gunshot.

When they came back to their senses, they realized that a smoke bomb had landed at their feet. Thick smoke rose and quickly covered the nearby area.

Li Ye and the others looked at each other in horror.

The target has been exposed!
