“What will this do to them?” Liang Ruoxu asked.

“We urgently need this batch of medicine, not them.”

“But there’s a time limit on the contract. Once it’s pass the time limit, it’ll be considered a breach of contract!”

“It’s not going to work.” Liang Ruoxu rested her head on one hand. “Even if there is a lawsuit, it’ll be corrupt through and through. It’ll be impossible to make them pay.”

“Don’t worry, this is where you show your true skills,” Lin Yi said.

!!
“Think about it. After you come up with a reason and say there’s something wrong with their drugs, then detain the stuff. What do you call that? Bad press, right?

“Secondly, they failed to deliver the goods during the contract period. Even if they don’t lose money, we’re in the right, right? What is this to them? It’s more bad press!

“Thirdly, what can you take away from our customs checking their goods? It showcases our tough attitude!

“Even if they are the top pharmaceutical company in the world, compared to a huge country like Huaxia, it is clear who is more important.

“As soon as you release this information, I guarantee that their stock value will be cut in half. This will be a major panic that will shake Ouzhoun1and Meiguon finance!”

Liang Ruoxu was dumbfounded. Wasn’t Lin Yi going too far?!

However, what Liang Ruoxu did not expect was that this was only the beginning.

“The situation in Ouzhou and Meiguo is different from Huaxia. Take Meiguo for example. Their annual per capita income is $70,000, but their per capita debt ratio is $110,000. To use our old saying, they borrow money to survive.

“If we do this, their stock will definitely fall drastically. As the export powerhouse of the six major pharmaceutical companies, if we don’t take their goods, the factories will definitely be forced to reduce production. This means that their workers will be left without a source of income, and won’t even be able to guarantee their own survival. What kind of turmoil do you think this will cause? Protests will be inevitable, right? Therefore, this is very likely to become a storm that will eventually become world news!

“And here, there’s the most important point. This is an election year. Do you think Old Chuan will want to blow things up, or do you think he will want to calm things down as soon as possible?

“Due to all this, won’t the initiative be in our hands?”

Liang Ruoxu’s gaze fell on Lin Yi. She had never thought that this matter would cause such a huge chain reaction.

Moreover, these assumptions were highly likely to happen.

“I agree with all your deductions just now. There’s a good chance they’re going to pay dearly for this, but it’s going to cost us, too.”

Liang Ruoxu changed her posture. “They’re businessmen. They only care about profit. They might not be able to last for a year or so, but our people can’t afford to delay it either. This is not the way to have a protracted battle.”

Lin Yi looked up at Liang Ruoxu with burning eyes.

“Then are you willing to trust me? I have a way to help you resolve these problems. But there are still some problems I can’t give you a positive answer to right now. Give me one night and I’ll get this done.”

“I believe you.”

“Get me the information later. Give me the names of the six pharmaceutical companies and the 25 imported drugs that they are preparing to raise the price of. The names, main ingredients, and the specific effects have to be given to me. I don’t need you to give me anything else.”

“No problem. I’ll have someone down there sort it out now.”

“Alright, let’s split up!”

They got up and walked out of the café together. Standing in front of Liang Ruoxu’s Audi A6, Lin Yi said,

“Go about your business. Be quick about it.”

The moment she opened the car door, Liang Ruoxu looked at Lin Yi.

“Billions of people are counting on you. Please don’t fail.”

He patted Liang Ruoxu’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. I wouldn’t joke about such things.”

Liang Ruoxu nodded and drove away.

On the way back, Lin Yi’s words captivated Liang Ruoxu’s mind.

She had nowhere to go. The only person she could count on was Lin Yi.

As for the final outcome, she had no idea.

It was as though a skyscraper was on fire. You are standing on the roof and someone tells you to jump down and that someone will catch you. However, when you look down, there is no one there.

Are you going to jump or not at this point?

At this moment, Liang Ruoxu was facing this problem.

Liang Ruoxu also knew that there was no other way now.

The only thing to do was jump!

…

When he arrived at the hospital, he didn’t go back to the emergency room. Instead, he went to his car and started planning what to do next.

Lin Yi first called Zhao Dongmei to ask about the drug report.

He was immediately pleased. Everything was going well.

‘I’ll have the pills and reports made by tomorrow morning.’

However, over the phone, Zhao Dongmei repeatedly reminded him not to let anyone take the medicine she made.

He knew what she was worried about, so he agreed. He knew the rules.

After confirming the most central step in his plan, Lin Yi relaxed.

The next step was to deal with this matter piece by piece.

Soon, the basic information surrounding the 25 drugs was sent to Lin Yi’s phone.

Lin Yi turned around and called Cao Jingqiu.

“Why is President Lin looking for me?”

After learning that Lin Yi was the person in charge, Cao Jingqiu’s voice was less charming and sexy, and more cold.

“Are you at the office? If not, go back immediately. It’s time for ke to use you.”

“Heh… Why would someone as resourceful as President Lin need me?”

“Stop being so sarcastic. You’re not the only public relations company in the country. If you don’t want to work anymore, just say so. I’ll withdraw my investment now.”

“How dare you scold me?!”

“I don’t have time for this. I have a job to do. Are you going to do it or not?”

Even through the phone, he could hear Cao Jingqiu’s chest heave.

“I’m at the office. Come and find me.”

He hung up and mumbled something.

“What the hell kind of person is this? She can even control herself after a scolding?”

Then, Lin Yi started the car and went to Cao Jingqiu’s Fenglan Culture to plan his next move.

Twenty minutes later, Lin Yi arrived at Cao Jingqiu’s office. The latter’s expression was exceptionally serious and even carried a trace of hostility.

“Why is President Lin looking for me?”

“Check your mailbox. I’ve sent you a file. Get your media army to spread the word for me.”

“What kind of information does this relate to?”

“Of course, it’s fake news,” Lin Yi said.

“But there’s something special about this. Don’t use domestic servers. It could put you at risk.”

Cao Jingqiu’s expression froze. She didn’t expect Lin Yi to say such a thing.

What the hell was he doing using foreign servers?

‘Could he want to open that type of website? It shouldn’t make him much money though.’
