Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

90: Chapter 90 BiomedicineAt the entrance of the Tianxing Technology Industrial Base, a black custom-made Tianxing sedan slowly stopped. Chen Mo and Li Yue got into Chen Mo’s exclusive luxury car.

Li Yue was still holding a stack of recently organized medical material cooperation application documents.

The custom luxury sedan slowly started moving. Chen Mo seemed to recall something and looked at Li Yue, saying:

”Li Yue, after you return, you must immediately handle one matter: register a biopharmaceutical company. Name it Tianxing Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Apply for all relevant qualifications as quickly as possible. I will also put in a good word.”

Li Yue quickly replied, ”Understood, CEO Chen! I will start preparing the qualifications for the biopharmaceutical company as soon as I get back and ensure everything is completed in the fastest time.”

Chen Mo let out a faint ”Mm” and said no more.

A few hours later, the luxury car drove into Minhang District of Modu and finally stopped at the entrance of Lane 1555, Zhongqing Road. This was Green City Shanghai Rose Garden, the luxury residence Chen Mo had just taken delivery of.

Building King, No. 215, Green City Shanghai Rose Garden, was delivered fully furnished and decorated in early 2014. It featured French Riviera style, situated on the core island area of the community, surrounded by water on three sides and facing an artificial lake to the south. It occupied about 9.1 mu, with a construction area of 1915㎡, consisting of two floors above ground and one basement level. It was equipped with a private swimming pool, a wine cellar, and a thousand-square-meter lawn. Green City’s exclusive butler was on duty 24 hours a day, making it one of Asia’s top ten luxury island mansions.

This was the property Chen Mo had previously instructed Zhang Kai to look out for and purchase.

Chen Mo looked at the imposing French manor before him. This place had sufficient privacy and was comfortable enough. Finally, he had a decent place to settle down.

Good heavens, Chen Mo’s ambitions were soaring!

”CEO Chen, then I will return to the company now,” Li Yue said while standing by the car.

”Go ahead,” Chen Mo waved his hand and turned to walk toward the manor gate. The electric bronze gate opened slowly, and the butler was already waiting at the entrance.

He could have driven in, but Chen Mo wanted to take a good look around the estate.

Behind the gate was a straight French palace-style landscape avenue. The dark gray asphalt road was flanked and embraced by neat boxwood hedges and tall arborvitae trees.

Chen Mo walked slowly into it, his feet stepping on clean, sharp stone edging.

Walking further in, the central lawn covering nearly a thousand square meters suddenly opened up, enclosed by light gray stone at the edges, perfectly consistent with the symmetrical aesthetics of French gardens.

To the west of the lawn was a clear private swimming pool, its edge paved with beige natural stone. A spacious leisure platform was reserved beside it, where lounge chairs and sun umbrellas could be placed in the future.

The manor was surrounded by water on three sides. Chen Mo walked slowly along the waterside path, which ended at the main body of Building King No. 215.

The French Riviera style architecture was dignified and grand, with light beige exterior walls paired with dark cyan French terracotta tiles. The facade was adorned with exquisite European reliefs and vintage wall lamps. The lines of the two-story main building were expansive.

The high entrance hall and Roman columns created a strong sense of ceremony, while the basement level was cleverly hidden beneath the terrain, balancing privacy and lighting.

Rounding the side of the building was the neat French rear garden, where hedges formed geometric patterns, punctuated by low shrubs, blending seamlessly with the artificial lake view to the south.

This manor, whether in the paving of the courtyard, the layering of the greenery, or the layout of the water features, demonstrated why Green City Rose Garden deserved its reputation as one of Asia’s top ten luxury residences.

Luxurious yet not gaudy, noble restraint, its privacy and comfort were beyond reproach.

Chen Mo walked and observed, nodding slightly. Only this estate was worthy of his current status.

The next morning, Chen Mo arrived at Tianxing’s headquarters building, formerly known as Tianxing Building. Chen Mo was currently arranging for people to negotiate with the officials to build a new headquarters at the foot of Sheshan Mountain, formally establishing the Tianxing Group.

However, the required land was quite large, about ten square kilometers. Although Tianxing had plenty of money, many things required coordination, which the officials were actively handling.

Chen Mo handled work at Tianxing Building for the entire morning. There were no particularly thorny issues, and he finished quickly.

He picked up his phone and dialed Dilraba Dilmurat’s number, yawning, ”Dilraba, are you busy?”

On the other end of the line, Dilraba Dilmurat’s voice held a hint of surprise: ”Not busy, not busy! Chen Mo, are you done?”

”Mm, I’m done,” Chen Mo said with a smile.

”Wait for me at home. I’ll come pick you up. We’ll put on some makeup and then go shopping. Buy whatever you want, eat whatever you want.”

”Really? That’s wonderful! I’ll start getting ready right now!” Dilraba Dilmurat’s voice instantly became cheerful. She hadn’t seen Chen Mo in a long time; being apart for one day felt like three years.

After hanging up, Chen Mo gave a few instructions and then drove to Dilraba Dilmurat’s residence.

After picking up Dilraba Dilmurat, they first put on makeup, and then he took her shuttling between major high-end malls and snack streets.

It truly lived up to the saying: buy whatever you want, eat whatever you want. Her mouth never stopped moving, like a little hamster.

Three days passed in this relaxed and pleasant manner.

One afternoon, while Chen Mo was at the manor, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw it was Li Yue calling.

”Good afternoon, CEO Chen!” Li Yue’s voice came from the other end.

”Tianxing Biopharmaceutical Company has been registered. All relevant qualifications have also been applied for and approved. The business license is already issued. Due to your connection, the Drug Production License was fast-tracked and has also been issued!”

Chen Mo said, ”Not bad, very efficient. I’m heading to the company now.”

”Understood, CEO Chen, I’ll wait for you!”

Chen Mo took a car to Tianxing Headquarters’ office. He walked to his desk and opened the safe behind him.

Chen Mo took out a thick stack of documents from the safe and placed them on the desk, waiting for Li Yue to arrive.

In just a few minutes, there was a knock on the office door.

”Come in.”

”CEO Chen.”

Li Yue pushed the door open and walked in, holding the relevant certificates for the biopharmaceutical company.

Chen Mo pointed to the documents on the desk, ”Sit down and take a look at this file.”

Li Yue sat down, picked up the file, and her eyes instantly widened in shock as she flipped it open. She looked up at Chen Mo, full of disbelief, ”CEO Chen, this is the production technology for Imatinib Mesylate?!”

”Mm,” Chen Mo nodded.

Imatinib Mesylate is the core drug for treating chronic myeloid leukemia (cml for short). The most famous one on the market is gleevec, produced by Novartis in Switzerland.

In 2014, this drug cost over 20,000 yuan per box, and one box only lasted one month. Many cml patients simply couldn’t afford it and had to rely on purchasing counterfeit Indian generic drugs for survival.

The drug Lu Yong previously purchased on behalf of others was the Indian generic version of this drug. However, the production technology Chen Mo held could produce a drug with the exact same efficacy as gleevec and the Indian generic, perhaps even higher purity.

Li Yue held the document and said excitedly, ”CEO Chen! With this technology, we can produce the drug to treat cml ourselves! Those patients who cannot afford gleevec will have hope!”

Chen Mo looked at her and said with a smile, ”Don’t get too excited. This is just the first step.”

”You go arrange it now. Under the name of Tianxing Group headquarters, issue two official announcements.

First: Announce the formal establishment of Tianxing Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., affiliated with Tianxing Group.

Second: Announce that the drug for treating chronic myeloid leukemia (cml), which is Imatinib Mesylate, has been successfully developed by the Tianxing Biopharmaceutical Research Lab. It is currently applying to relevant departments for clinical trials and will proceed to mass production as soon as possible.”

”Understood, CEO Chen!” Li Yue immediately nodded in agreement.

”I will go prepare the official announcement copy right away. Also, I will quickly compile the materials for the clinical trial application and submit them to the relevant departments. I absolutely will not delay the progress!”

”Mm,” Chen Mo nodded.

”When you make the official announcement, include a brief description of Imatinib Mesylate so everyone knows that this drug is as effective as gleevec. In the future, they won’t have to spend a fortune buying imported drugs or risk purchasing generic drugs through unofficial channels.”

”Got it, CEO Chen, I’ll remember!” Li Yue finished speaking and hurried out of the office.
