Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

72: Chapter 72 V-shaped reversal, Japanese capital goes bankruptOn the large screen, the hang seng index was still struggling and fluctuating around 20500 points, with numbers jumping back and forth.

Chen Mo stood there, staring at the numbers on the trading screen and rapidly calculating in his mind.

Zhao Yuan’s voice came from beside him:

”Mr. Chen, the national team has stabilized the exchange rate, and we’ve taken on many orders. What should we do now?”

Chen Mo chuckled:

”Now, it’s our turn to attack.”

Zhao Yuan was stunned:

”Attack? The Japs are attacking now!”

”Exactly, right now we don’t know anything else, only how to attack!”

Chen Mo pointed at the large screen and said:

”Listen to my command:

Pour all remaining funds into the current month’s hang seng index futures, open as many long positions as possible!

Continue to increase positions in call options, and engulf all short positions!

On the spot market, continue to sweep up Chinese-funded banks and real estate stocks, forcefully push the index up!”

Zhao Yuan:

”Yes, Mr. Chen! Quickly! Max out long positions on futures! Increase call option positions! Sweep the spot market! Speed up!”

All traders in the trading room quickly placed orders.

Keyboard tapping sounds formed a continuous rhythm, and commands were issued and executed one after another.

”Mr. Chen! 20,000 lots of hang seng index futures long positions have been transacted!”

”500,000 call options eaten up!”

”Bank of China Hong Kong, HSBC, Cheung Kong all swept up, 12 billion Hong Kong dollars have been poured in!”

The market began to move wildly.

The hang seng index paused sharply around 20500 points, then shot up like a rocket!

20600!

20800!

21000!

Zhao Yuan said from the side:

”It’s up! Mr. Chen, the hang seng index has broken through 21000!”

Chen Mo nodded and continued:

”Has CITIC’s research report been issued?”

”Issued! It’s been pushed across the entire network, and all rumors about local debt have been clarified!”

”Major Chinese-funded brokerages have spoken out together, and market sentiment has stabilized!”

Retail investors and institutions, seeing someone supporting the market and rumors clarified, immediately turned around and entered the market.

The market was completely ignited, and panic selling turned into bottom-fishing.

21500!

22000!

22500!

Only ten minutes left until closing.

Chen Mo said:

”Pour all the funds in, and push the index back above 22800 points.”

”Yes!”

With funds, confidence, and sentiment all in place, the hang seng index galloped like an untamed wild horse.

The last second of closing

The hang seng index was fixed at: 22826 points.

From 20500 points, it violently rebounded to 22826 points,

A massive surge of over 2300 points, creating an epic V-shaped reversal that left the whole world stunned!

The trading room instantly erupted in enthusiastic cheers:

”We won! We won!”

”hong kong stocks are saved!”

At the same time, at Nomura Securities Hong Kong branch.

Sato Kenichi stared intently at the hang seng index on the big screen, his face filled with rage.

”Baka... Bakayaro!!”

”How could it have rebounded so much?!”

His assistant cautiously said beside him:

”Sato-san, we... we’ve been liquidated!”

”The hang seng index surged over 11%, all our short positions were broken through!

Coupled with leverage... our losses have exceeded 6 billion Hong Kong dollars!”

Mitsubishi UFJ, and major Japanese hedge funds all suffered huge losses across the board.

Sato Kenichi’s vision went black, and he almost collapsed to the ground.

His meticulously planned sneak attack,

From QFII market manipulation, futures shorting, rumor coordination, to coordinated attacks on the exchange rate...

Every step was executed perfectly.

Yet, he was directly crushed.

His phone rang.

Sato Kenichi sighed and picked it up.

The furious voice of a Nomura senior executive came from the other end:

”Sato Kenichi! The losses you caused have brought huge damage to the group!

The Asia Pacific CEO has already resigned to take responsibility!

You are immediately suspended from your duties and will undergo a full investigation!”

”Yes.”

Sato Kenichi slowly put down the phone, his face ashen.

Japanese Capital, suffered a crushing defeat and completely withdrew from the Hong Kong market.

Tianxing Technology Building top floor trading room.

Zhao Yuan walked over with the settlement statement, a big smile on his face:

”Mr. Chen, the settlement is out!”

”Our futures long positions, call options, and bottom-fishing stocks combined, resulted in a total profit of 5 billion Hong Kong dollars!”

The surrounding traders’ eyes widened upon hearing this.

Good heavens, they actually made a whopping 5 billion Hong Kong dollars while defending the market.

Zhao Yuan continued:

”Most of this came from those Japanese Capitals, and a portion from local Hong Kong and domestic individuals who followed Japanese Capital in shorting the market!”

Chen Mo sneered:

”I know. Some people, ah! They eat with the bowl, then curse their mother when they put it down! They deserve their losses!”

Then he said to Zhao Yuan:

”Zhao Yuan, every person who participated in this market defense operation will be rewarded with a villa!”

Immediately, cheers erupted again in the trading room:

”Long live Mr. Chen!”

”Thank you, Mr. Chen!”

Soon, the news spread across the entire network.
