Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

64: Chapter 64 The $50 Billion StrategyAfter celebrating Im Yoon-ah’s birthday in South Korea, Chen Mo did not stay for long.

Early the next morning, he boarded a flight discreetly, flying directly back to the Dragon Kingdom.

After the plane landed, Chen Mo got into the car that had come to pick him up.

In the car, Chen Mo removed his disguise and reverted to his original identity.

Not long after, Zhang Kai’s call came through:

”President Chen! Sales of the Tianxing Second Generation Mobile Phone have already surpassed 5 million units! Laptops have also surged to 7 million units! All production lines are running twenty-four hours a day with two shifts of workers, and we’re starting to fall behind on orders!”

”Also, overseas, citizens in over a dozen countries are protesting in the streets every day, forcing their governments to introduce our products. Many foreign embassies have sent people over to inquire about procurement channels!”

Chen Mo leaned back in his seat and yawned.

”Understood. Continue to follow the previous rules. Prioritize domestic supply. As for those guys abroad, we’ll only talk about supply once they bow their heads in apology and completely back down.”

”Yes! President Chen!”

Hanging up the phone, Chen Mo said to Old Xu:

”Don’t go to Tomson Riviera; go to the Tianxing Technology Building.”

Old Xu replied, ”Understood, President Chen!”

Chen Mo glanced at the date on his phone:

September 18, 2013

It was currently 10:00 AM in the country.

Corresponding to American time, it was exactly 10:00 PM on September 17. With a twelve-hour time difference, it was just before the critical moment of the Federal Reserve’s September 18 resolution.

Chen Mo remembered this day very clearly:

This was the craziest, bloodiest day in the global financial markets, and also the best opportunity for him to harvest wealth.

An hour later, the private car arrived at the Tianxing Technology Building parking lot.

Chen Mo walked directly into the exclusive elevator and went straight to the top floor.

Besides his office on the top floor, there was also a pre-arranged exclusive trading room. It spanned several hundred square meters, with a circular console in the center surrounded by twelve high-performance computers. The screens were filled with English trading interfaces, K-line charts, and real-time data.

Twelve people were waiting behind the computers.

They were the financial trading team Chen Mo had assembled. After Chen Mo had directed them through one operation previously, he had left them to their own devices to practice their trading skills.

This time, he had specifically told them to set aside time to handle the operations for this September 18 Federal Reserve market event.

As Chen Mo walked in, the twelve people stood up simultaneously and shouted in unison, ”President Chen!”

”Sit down, everyone.”

Chen Mo waved his hand and walked directly to the main seat of the circular console to sit down, then asked:

”How are your preparations coming along?”

Zhao Yuan immediately stepped forward to report:

”President Chen, everything is ready. Everyone is responsible for operating 42 overseas accounts, ensuring that absolutely nothing goes wrong.”

Chen Mo nodded and looked at the head of risk control, Zhang Lei.

”Zhang Lei, any issues on the risk control side?”

Zhang Lei immediately replied:

”President Chen, everything has been verified. We have activated a total of 42 independent overseas accounts, all registered with real identities and distributed across three major legitimate platforms: Interactive Brokers, FXCM, and Switzerland’s Dukascopy.”

”These three are among the most mainstream and well-regulated brokers internationally. The 50x leverage is the official compliance limit of these platforms, which fully complies with market rules and won’t be flagged by regulators.”

”Additionally, we have prepared a full-process risk control plan to monitor account fluctuations, market liquidity, and platform risks in real-time. Should any abnormality occur, we will activate emergency protocols immediately to ensure capital safety.”

”Very good.”

Chen Mo then looked at the analyst, Li Feng.

”Li Feng, tell me about the current market sentiment and positioning.”

Li Feng said:

”President Chen, current global market sentiment is highly unified. All mainstream Wall Street institutions and analysts predict that the Federal Reserve will announce a reduction in the scale of QE tonight. The market is currently flooded with short orders. Major institutions have already dumped tens of billions of dollars into gold shorts, and international gold prices are being suppressed, trending slightly downwards. The current quote is 1338 USD per ounce.”

”We have monitored many retail investors following suit to go short. Market bearish sentiment has reached a peak, making this the perfect time for us to enter at a low point.”

After listening, Chen Mo nodded and said:

”Very good. Everyone, to your positions, prepare to take action.”

His gaze turned to Zhao Yuan as he said:

”Zhao Yuan, set the leverage for all accounts to 50x. Use the 1 billion USD principal to leverage gold long positions. Control the total position within 50 billion USD. Ensure all positions are built and we are fully entered by 2:00 AM Beijing time, before the Federal Reserve resolution is announced. Leave no penny behind.”

Zhao Yuan immediately replied:

”Yes! President Chen!”

He then turned to command the personnel operating the accounts:

”Attention everyone, per President Chen’s instructions, set leverage to 50x. Prioritize the layout in London Spot Gold and comex gold futures. Enter in batches, accumulate at low prices, and speed up to ensure full positions are built before 2:00 AM!”

”Received!”

All the traders responded in unison.

Then, their fingers flew across the keyboards. Orders on the screens refreshed constantly as capital entered the market quietly, bit by bit: 100 million, 500 million, 1 billion, 5 billion... the numbers kept climbing, each order executed with precision.

While monitoring account risk and market liquidity in real-time, Zhang Lei reported the current situation to Chen Mo:

”President Chen, current gold market liquidity is ample. The combined daily trading volume of comex gold and London Spot Gold could reach as high as 180 billion USD. Our 50 billion USD position accounts for about 27% of the market volume, which won’t attract attention or cause slippage or a market crash. Capital is flowing freely, and everything is normal.”

Chen Mo nodded slightly, his eyes fixed on the real-time K-line charts on the screen.

Beside him, Li Feng said:

”President Chen, the market is currently full of short orders and gold prices are still trending down. Isn’t going full-throttle on long positions at such a scale too risky? If the Fed really does taper QE and gold prices plummet, we could easily be liquidated with 50x leverage...”

Chen Mo replied:

”Risky? For me, there is no risk, only inevitability.”

He looked at Li Feng and continued:

”Remember, those Wall Street institutions earn money within the scope of their perception, while we earn money from the information gap. Tonight, the Federal Reserve will definitely announce that it is maintaining the scale of QE and not tapering bond purchases. That is the inevitable outcome.”

”Right now, bearish sentiment has peaked. Once the resolution is announced, the shorts will inevitably collapse and gold prices will skyrocket. All we need to do is set the layout in advance and wait for the harvest.”

Zhao Yuan chimed in from the side:

”Li Feng, don’t ask so many questions. Just strictly execute President Chen’s orders. Following President Chen will definitely not lead us astray!”

Zhao Yuan, once a financial elite himself, had long been conquered by Chen Mo’s operations!

Li Feng nodded and said:

”Yes! President Chen! I was overthinking it!”
