Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

78: Chapter 78 Sanya Vacation TimeIn less than three hours, Chen Mo’s flying palace landed steadily at Sanya Phoenix Airport.

As soon as they stepped out of the cabin door, warm, humid sea breeze greeted them, carrying the salty scent of the ocean and a faint aroma of coconut.

Nalan Ruoshui took a deep breath, then looked at Chen Mo and said:

”It’s so comfortable here, completely different from Magic City.”

Chen Mo held her hand and smiled:

”If you like it, we’ll stay a few more days and have a good time.”

Standing at the top of the airstairs, they could still see rows of coconut trees and bougainvillea outside the airport.

After Chen Mo and Nalan Ruoshui descended the airstairs and got into the car, it headed straight for the seaview villa in Yalong Bay.

The entire route was lined with seafood street stalls, with waves of enticing aromas wafting over.

”Fresh coconuts! Golden coconuts! If it’s not tasty, it’s free!”

”Mangoes! Jackfruit! Local specialties!”

The vendors’ calls rose and fell in succession.

Nalan Ruoshui leaned against the car window, watching the lively street scene:

”It’s so bustling here. I feel so relaxed coming here.”

”Haha, I’ll take you to eat your fill later.”

Chen Mo said with a smile.

Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of a Mediterranean-style villa facing the sea.

White walls and a blue roof, paired with the sea and sky, made it look like a house from a fairy tale.

As soon as she entered the courtyard, Nalan Ruoshui couldn’t help but exclaim:

”Wow! It’s so beautiful here!”

She quickly ran to the railing, pushed it open, and gazed at the endless sea, where seagulls were hovering over the water.

”Chen Mo, come look quickly! It’s so beautiful! I love it here so much!”

Chen Mo walked over with a smile and stood with her, admiring the boundless seascape.

The sea water faded from light blue to deep blue, waves gently lapping the shore, instantly making them feel much more relaxed.

”Do you like it?”

”Yes! I love it so much!”

Nalan Ruoshui nodded vigorously.

”Thank you for bringing me to such a beautiful place.”

Chen Mo chuckled softly:

”No need for formalities with me. Next time, I’ll take you to Daocheng.”

”Daocheng? Where’s that?”

”Daocheng! It’s in Daocheng County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Xishu Province. It’s a very beautiful place. We’ll go there to see the azure sky, the white snow-capped mountains, the golden grasslands, and witness an autumn fairy tale!”

Chen Mo replied.

”So beautiful! I want to go!”

Nalan Ruoshui’s face was full of longing.

”Alright, next autumn, I’ll take you to Daocheng!”

Chen Mo looked at the person before him and replied with a smile.

After resting in the afternoon, evening arrived.

After a simple tidy-up and changing into beachwear, the two headed straight for Yalong Bay Beach.

The beach was quite crowded in the evening, filled with laughter and joy everywhere.

Some were walking along the waves, some were building sandcastles, and others were strolling while sipping from coconuts.

Nalan Ruoshui immediately spotted a roadside coconut stall and pulled Chen Mo over.

The coconut-selling uncle smiled and said:

”Young lady, want a coconut? Freshly picked, very sweet!”

”Uncle, we’ll take two!”

The uncle swiftly cleaved open the coconuts with a few chops, inserted straws, and handed them over.

Nalan Ruoshui eagerly took a big sip, her eyes instantly narrowing: ”This coconut is so delicious! Refreshing and sweet! Chen Mo, try it quickly!”

Chen Mo took a sip and nodded with a smile:

”Mhm, it’s pretty good.”

”Uncle, what’s good to eat around here?”

Nalan Ruoshui asked the coconut-selling uncle.

”First Market! The seafood is freshest there. Qingbuliang, Baoluo noodles, Wenchang chicken—all delicious!”

The two walked slowly along the beach. The sand was soft, and the sea waves washed over their feet, bringing a cool sensation.

Nalan Ruoshui hugged Chen Mo’s arm, leaning her head on his shoulder:

”I wish every day could be like this.”

Chen Mo patted Nalan Ruoshui’s head but said nothing.

He couldn’t make promises. He had other women, and each needed his company.

The afterglow of the sunset dyed the sea as if it were in a fairy tale.

Afterward, following the coconut-selling uncle’s advice, the two headed toward First Seafood Market.

As soon as they entered, the scent of seafood and the aroma of cooked dishes greeted them. There were many fresh seafood options: crabs, mantis shrimp, mango clams, various sea fish...

A stall owner enthusiastically called out:

”Miss, try this! Stir-fried, super fragrant!”

They found a street stall to sit at. The owners were a married couple, especially warm-hearted. While helping them order, they taught them some Hainanese phrases.

”’Bolong’ means hello, ’Diadia’ means delicious!”

Nalan Ruoshui imitated them quite well, but her mispronunciation amused the nearby local diners.

Before long, a table full of seafood was served.

Nalan Ruoshui tasted a bite of Hele crab, her eyes lighting up:

”So delicious! So much crab roe!”

”The mantis shrimp is super tender too!”

Nalan Ruoshui ate with relish, her lips glistening with oil. Chen Mo sat opposite her, quietly accompanying her meal and watching her smile.

No work, no rivals, just the atmosphere of everyday life and the person beside her.

For the next two days, Chen Mo accompanied Nalan Ruoshui to visit some of Sanya’s attractions.

They watched the sunrise together in the morning, strolled the beach and visited scenic spots during the day, and in the afternoon, they went to a Li ethnic village.

The village was full of ancient boat-shaped thatched huts, and the villagers, dressed in ethnic attire, were very welcoming.

”Bolong!”

”Bolong!”

Nalan Ruoshui also learned to call out.

The villagers invited them to drink Shanlan wine, eat bamboo tube rice, and even taught Nalan Ruoshui how to weave Li brocade.

”Every stitch must be done slowly. This is an old craft.”

Later, they went to the square to dance the bamboo pole dance. The ”da-da-da” rhythm was particularly cheerful.

”Come join the fun!”

Nalan Ruoshui pulled Chen Mo right into the dance.

She occasionally missed the rhythm, giggling with delight. Chen Mo steadily protected her from the side, and the entire square was filled with laughter and joy.

After touring the Li ethnic village, Nalan Ruoshui’s spirits remained high.

An elderly woman was selling freshly baked coconut cakes by the roadside, the aroma wafting through the air.

”Chen Mo, smell that! It’s so fragrant!”

Nalan Ruoshui pulled him over.

”Granny, how much for these?”

The elderly woman smiled kindly:

”Ten yuan for three, freshly baked!”

”Then we’ll take three!”

The granny wrapped them in leaves and handed them over. Nalan Ruoshui took a small bite, and her eyes immediately sparkled.

”So delicious! Soft and chewy, with a coconut fragrance. You have to try it!”

Chen Mo took a bite and nodded slightly:

”Indeed, very fragrant.”

Nearby, a vendor carrying a pole was selling tropical fruits—jackfruit, sugar apples, wax apples piled high.

The vendor warmly called out:

”Try some wax apples! Hydrating and sweet!”

Nalan Ruoshui asked curiously:

”How do you eat this?”

”Just bite into it! Crisp and juicy, very thirst-quenching!”

She tried one and couldn’t help but exclaim:

”Wow, it’s really crisp and juicy! Like eating a pear!”

As they walked, lively singing came from ahead.

Several Li ethnic youths sat under a tree, playing guitars and singing local folk songs with a light and pleasant melody.

Nalan Ruoshui stopped, captivated:

”They sing so beautifully.”

Chen Mo held her hand and stood nearby, listening for a while.

When the song ended, Nalan Ruoshui couldn’t help but applaud:

”That was wonderful!”

The singing young man smiled and waved:

”If you like it, come listen again next time!”

There were also many specialty shops along the roadside selling shell necklaces, coral decorations, and beach hats—colorful and particularly pretty.

Nalan Ruoshui picked up a small straw hat and put it on her head.

”Does it look good?”

”It looks good, suits you well.”

Chen Mo said with a smile.

She chose two simple small straw hats, one for herself and one handed to Chen Mo:

”Here, matching couple hats!”

Chen Mo casually put it on his head, and the two shared a smile.

Chen Mo peacefully accompanied her for three full days.

Nalan Ruoshui’s smile never faded during those three days.

On the evening of the third day, the two packed the things they had bought in Sanya and prepared to start their return journey.

Nalan Ruoshui gazed at the sea, somewhat reluctant:

”I really don’t want to leave! It’s a shame we have to go back tomorrow!”

”We’ll come again next time. We have to go back now! Our country’s beautiful landscapes—there are still so many places worth exploring!”

Chen Mo held her hand and said with a smile.

Nalan Ruoshui turned to look at Chen Mo:

”I want to go to the Daocheng you mentioned.”

”Alright, it’s settled. We’ll definitely go next autumn!”
