Super Electric Eel Avatar

97 Coincidental Meeting At The Airpor
”Let go of him!” Chen Fan stood up and said to Wang Bing. ”You should’ve just said so earlier. Why do you have to go through this?” Chen Fan shook his head, took the plastic bag and opened the door. ”Wang Bing, let’s go!”

After the two left, Wang Xingyu laid on the floor with saliva at the corner of his mouth and stared blankly at the ceiling.

”Boss, why haven’t I heard of the ghost hair jellyfish that he said? What did you ask him about that for?” Wang Bing asked out of curiosity in the car.

”It’s a type of huge jellyfish that lives in the ocean and it’s been said that its poisonous sac can cure illnesses.”

”Oh!” Wang Bing was not really interested in it and continued driving the car.

”Tonga Trench…” Chen Fan looked up and mumbled to himself. He had heard of this name before. It seemed like the average depth was more than 6,000 meters, and the deepest point was more than 10,000 meters.

After eating that white piece of ghost moon incense, the electric eel could now dive to 1,200 meters, which was three hundred meters more than its previous depth. Although this piece of brown ghost moon incense didn’t look appealing, luckily the electric eel seemed to have the desire to swallow it, so it shouldn’t have been a problem increasing the tolerated depth by another 100 meters.

The eel could still manage to dive another 100 meters deeper with no hardship, but it was still short by a bit. I guess I have to put the eel through some tough training on deep sea diving! Chen Fan said to himself as he pressed down the car window and looked blankly at the pedestrians. The electric eel was the security of Chen Fan’s future. Chen Fan would be nothing without it, hence he had no choice but to force Wang Xingyu to answer his questions just now. The guy was just too stubborn for his own good.

After getting back to the district entrance, Chen Fan got Wang Bing to leave before he drove himself home. Once he reached home, Chen Fan switched on the computer to search for information on ”ghost hair jellyfish” and ”ghost moon incense”. Unfortunately, he did not manage to get any useful information.

Keying in ”Bada Biotechnology Group”, he got loads of related information this time! ”Not bad, even distributed shares…” Chen Fan pursed his lips. ”Chairman Fu Lulong is coming to Zhongyun to inspect the investment environment for building a large-scale processing base…” After closing the website, Chen Fan laid on the bed and shifted his thoughts to the electric eel.

The ghost moon incense did not seem to have any effect physically. A few days had passed and the electric eel did not change much other than turning darker and shinier all over. The eel was currently settled in the center of a reef, ten nautical miles away from the shore of Zhongyun. It was around two hundred meters deep and surrounded by rocks, whereas only the center was on even seabed. The eel did not have to worry about being caught by a fisherman’s net and other such dangers.

The electric eel with its current length of sixty meters would cause a commotion if it were to undergo physical training, hence Chen Fan chose a more obscure training method, such as digging holes. The 200 square meter empty space in the center of the reef had been dug into a big hole, twenty meters in diameter and fifteen meters deep, by the electric eel. Digging this hole not only trained the eel’s body, but also satisfied Chen Fan’s guilty pleasure of finding a big treasure hideout.

The four shiny claws, each one meter in diameter, were like high-speed excavators on maximum power, digging downward at a speed of two meters per hour. After working at top speed for two hours, the electric eel was totally exhausted. Chen Fan controlled the eel to swim to a distance away and start swallowing fishes to fill its stomach.

Early next morning, Chen Fan’s parents went to the travel agency to apply for a travel permit so that they could go to Hong Kong and Macau for some serious shopping. After getting up, Chen Fan drove to Ocean Storm Marine Company. It had been almost twenty days since he last stepped into the office. Everyone in the company looked bored and Chen Fan’s lack of responsibility and motivation was the cause of this.

”Oh, hello boss!” Zhang Lele quickly stood up from the chair and looked at Chen Fan in shock.

”Um!” Chen Fan nodded and sat on his special chair. ”Ahem, let’s have a short meeting.”

Yu Lin clapped and was all ears. ”The agenda of the meeting is very simple. Yiteng Yun, Yu Lin, Zhang Lele, from now on, the three of you shall publish on the internet

the purchase of this thing called ghost moon incense. State the company’s contact number and Zhang Lele you shall be in charge of answering the calls. If the other party sends people over, Yu Lin you will be in charge of receiving them.”

”Boss, what’s ghost moon incense?” Zhang Lele asked as she played with her hair.

”Good stuff!” Chen Fan took out a thumb drive from his pocket and plugged it into the computer before sending the pictures and introduction of ghost moon incense to each of their computers using the local area network.

”Look carefully. This thing is round and easily recognizable. Take note that this thing also has different grades. The whiter and clearer, the more valuable it is. Inform me immediately if you see this type.”

”Yes, boss!” Yiteng Yun and the rest nodded.

”You guys read the information yourselves, I shall save my breath. Whoever helps me get a piece of it will receive a reward of 5,000 RMB from me.”

”So much!” Zhang Lele squinted her pretty eyes. ”Don’t worry boss, I’ll work overtime to help you settle this.”

”One more thing. The three of you go to the major marine forums and bulletin boards to search for this thing called ’ghost hair jellyfish’. You’ll also be rewarded if you’re able to find detailed information.”

”Um!” The three nodded unanimously.

When Chen Fan got home in the afternoon, his parents had already packed their luggage and were just waiting for the permit to be approved before they took the plane to Hong Kong and Macau for holidays.

Time flies and two days had gone by in the wink of an eye. Chen Fan had called the office a few times to check on the situation, but the three all said that they had yet to find any related information on ’ghost hair jellyfish’, as well as ”ghost moon incense’.

It was 7:00 AM and Chen Fan got out of bed very early for the first time. This was because his parents were taking the 9AM flight to Hong Kong, and he had to send them off.

”Son, your dad and I are going off soon. Remember to eat your meals regularly and not to get gastric acid like last time!” Chen Fan’s mother reminded Chen Fan after checking the luggage one last time.

”Yes, I know.” Chen Fan said as he walked toward the door with two suitcases in his hands. Gastric acid was a thing of the past. Ever since his body had been strengthened by the electric eel using electric current, his body had been in such excellent condition that he had not even gotten a cold anymore.

It was already 8:20 AM when he drove the BMW slowly to Zhongyun airport. ”Son, I’ve deposited 500,000 RMB onto this card for your daily expenses and filling up the car. I’ll help you keep the rest for getting a wife.” Chen Fan’s mother shoved a bank card into Chen Fan’s hand and patted his shoulder. ”Just go to the hotel outside the residential area for your meals and choose the expensive dishes.”

”Alright, your prodigal son will spend any amount you give him. You don’t have to worry at all!” Chen Fan’s father cut off his mother’s nagging. ”Let’s quickly go get our boarding pass!”

After his parents went through the security and entered the departure hall, Chen Fan sat on the chair so that he could see his parents off from there. Within a few minutes, Chen Fan heard the announcement from the departure hall. ”Dear passengers, flight 1037 to Hong Kong is now ready for boarding, please bring your…”

As he was staring blankly at the plane parked at a distance away, Chen Fan heard a series of dah dah dah sounds. Of course, this wasn’t an audacious criminal shooting away with an AK, but the sound of a group of people stepping on the marble floor in their leather shoes.

”Ah!” One of the men tripped over Chen Fan’s outstretched leg unintentionally. ”I’m sorry!” Chen Fan quickly turned his head and apologized. However,…

”Are you kidding...” Chen Fan covered his face in agony. It was a group of successful looking men whose faces wore a look of self-confidence. Each of their heads had hair wax applied and looked shinier than leather shoes. Dressed neatly in black from top to toe, Chen Fan could not help but envy their character. However, envy and agony were two different matters. The thing that made Chen Fan fully understand what ”extreme coincidence” meant was that, this man who Chen Fan accidentally tripped was the same guy who was threatened with a knife, pressed onto the floor and tickled by Chen Fan in the tea house a few days ago; the man called Wang Xingyu.

”You?” Wang Xingyu covered his mouth with his left hand and pointed at Chen Fan, expressing disbelief at the coincidence. The previous incident was a great insult to him. He had wanted to discuss purchasing the ”ghost moon incense” but ended up being threatened by a knife. The more infuriating thing was, the other party even tickled him after his threat failed!

Although the thought of the knife sent a chill down Wang Xingyu’s spine, if that sharp knife had landed on a person’s body, he would be cut in half.

”Wang, you know this man?” a luxuriously-dressed young man who was walking right in front asked. His 1.8 meter height and angular features made him look very manly. His capable disposition and the humble gaze from the surrounding men signaled that he was a top leader.

”Yes, I was discussing the purchase of ’ghost moon incense’ with this fellow three days ago, but he threatened me with a knife and forced me to tell him the place of origin of the ’ghost hair jellyfish’.” Wang Xingyu sounded very pleased with himself, as if he had just reported a major treason case to the Ministry of State Security.

”This gentleman is really bold to threaten my man with a knife!” The luxuriously-dressed young man did not have any expression on his face.

”Yes, boss!” Wang Xingyu added in more detail. ”If I had not told him the place of origin of the ’ghost hair jellyfish’ in the end, he would have stabbed me to death!”

”Sir, please come with me.” The luxuriously-dressed young man spoke as though he was high above the rest. His commanding tone sounded like he had the privilege of manipulating life and death.
