Super Electric Eel Avatar

68 Ten days later
”5,888,800... ”

Chen Fan did some quick mental calculations and found out that Bolan Gardens, which was located in the downtown of Zhongyun city, had quite a good geographical environment and the price of more than five million RMB was actually much cheaper than the ones in the main city. Thus, this was considered a reasonable price in Zhongyun city.

”Are there any discounts? Try to make it cheaper!” Chen Fan turned over and asked softly.

”I can reduce the price to a whole number of five million RMB, but I’ll need to ask my manager if you still want a cheaper price!” Xia Qianxue pushed open the car door and got out in a crooked manner. ”I’ll go to the telephone booth now, give him a call and see if I can get more of a discount.”

Should I run away?

Chen fan gave it some thought and finally decided to screw that thought. It’s bad enough to crash into someone who was walking on the sidewalk, not to mention that he also caused her to lose cash worth 50,000 RMB.

After five minutes, Xia Qianxue stumbled into the car while caressing her painful buttocks. ”I tried my best to help you to get the most discount but my manager only agreed to discount another thirty thousand RMB. However, he said that he can give you two 52 inch LCD TV’s as a gift.”

”I see...” Chen fan twitched his mouth and after stuttering, he asked, ”If that’s the case, when can I have a look at the house?”

”Now! You can have a look at it now!” Xia Qianxue’s eyes were filled with hope. ”Should we go now?”

”Now? Aren’t you going to the hospital?”

”No, I’m not going, I just fell on my butt, and it’s nothing...!” Xia Qianxue’s sentence hung in midair as she felt embarrassed suddenly and her face flushed red as though someone was applying blusher to her cheeks. She thought it was quite weird for her to mention the word ’butt’ in front of a man!

The evening sunset shone in through the open windows of the car. It contoured her face by shining a golden light on her that was like glittery gold powder. Her cheeks and ears look so tender and soft from the light.

Will her face burst like a bubble if I touch it? Chen Fan looked at her cheeks and suddenly remembered a word, ’breakable’.

”Then let’s go now and if it is up to my expectations, it isn’t a problem to pay immediately!” After taking a left turn, Chen Fan drove to Bolan Gardens.

Bolan Gardens, which was built by Wancheng Construction Company last year, had cost more than 40 million RMB. The whole garden covered an area of 6000 square meters and there were all kinds of facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, entertainment center, etc. As soon it was launched, it immediately jumped to the first place in sales in the whole Zhongyun city, especially the two-story compound apartment, and the three-story villa which was popular among many people.

...............

After reaching the show house of Bolan Gardens, Xia Qianxue led Chen Fan to the manager’s office while walking in an awkward manner.

Xia Qianxue was as diligent as the ancient bondmaids. She took out a packet of premium tea leaves from the cupboard and said, ”Please have a seat on the sofa and wait for a while. Our manager went to get the keys and will attend to you immediately after that. I’ll make you a cup of tea to quench your thirst in the meantime.”

Chen Fan leaned back on the sofa with his legs crossed and sipped his tea while asking Xia Qianxue about the house’s interior design.

After the two of them talked for a while, a middle-aged woman who wore a pair of gold framed spectacles, and a fine tailored black suit with a red badge on her chest that said ’sales manager’ walked out from the room. Her job position was displayed clearly.

”May I know how to address you and shall I take you to the house now, sir?”

Chen Fan felt a little strange being called ’sir’ by a middle-aged woman.

”My surname is Chen.” Chen Fan put down his cup and got up.”If I’m satisfied with it, I hope to finish the procedures as soon as possible.”

”Of course, Mr. Chen, please follow me!” The sales manager spoke in fluent Mandarin like a radio announcer, bowed slightly and made a ’this way please’ gesture.

They sat in a four-seated sightseeing electric car and arrived at a small white three-story building that was located at the center of the housing estate.

The sales manager opened the iron gate skillfully and pointed to the house. ”Mr. Chen, this is the house that was designed by the famous French designer, Leander. It is a ’Paris Champs-Élysées’ luxury villa design. It doesn’t only have a private garden, but you can also enjoy a moonlight dinner with your lover on the balcony.”

”I would like to have a look at the interior design!” Chen Fan was not impressed with the way people these days liked to boast that everything had a foreign design. It was obvious that they could copy a villa’s design from photos on the Internet. They just wanted to boast that it was designed by a famous French designer. It was more likely designed by a student who was studying abroad in France.

”Sure, please follow me!”

Five minutes. Less than five minutes and Chen Fan already felt like buying it.

It was not because of how glamorous the design was, or how much Chen Fan liked it. It was because Chen Fan couldn’t stand the sales manager anymore. She was just too good at boasting. Tiles that were obviously made in Foshan escalated into tiles that were imported from England. She could even boast that all the lights in the room were imported from the United States without thinking twice.

Ok ...

When Chen Fan walked up the stairs, he purposely glanced at the light bulb in a wall lamp, and saw several small words that said ’Zhejiang Changxing Star Lighting Co., LTD.’ There was even a pentagon-shaped star in the middle that was the company’s logo.

Fortunately, Chen Fan’s credit card had a very high limit that was approved by the bank, otherwise, he would have had to go to the bank for a fund transfer. After photocopying a few copies of his ID card, Chen Fan paid twenty percent of the total price as a deposit. After asking the team of interior designers to renovate the house according to the drawing he had chosen from the computer, he asked when he would be able to move in.

The sales manager replied, ”If genuine wood and environmental materials are used in the renovation, it would take at least ten days. Because the formaldehyde in new houses is quite difficult to remove, it takes a lot of time and manpower.”

”Okay. I’ll pay you the balance when I get the statement tomorrow and just give me a call when it’s finished.”

After coming out of the sales hall, Chen Fan who wanted to go straight home was being dragged away by Xia Qianxue for a meal as she was very grateful to him. She would even give back Chen Fan 100,000 RMB after he had cleared the payment.

Chen Fan only started to drive back home slowly after eight something at night.

Back at home, Chen Fan shifted his consciousness to the electric eel avatar and concentrated the electromagnetic induction on to the pituitary gland which was about the size of a watermelon.

Now, whenever Chen Fan stimulated the pituitary gland, the word ’familiar’ wasn’t even accurate in describing how the process felt to Chen Fan anymore. There had to be a better word to describe how Chen Fan felt. The lobe of the pituitary gland that was involved in releasing growth hormones may have already been able to carry out the process automatically due to Chen Fan who kept stimulating it.

Growth hormones were being released rapidly as long Chen Fan concentrated the electromagnetic induction on that area even without releasing any voltage. If the stimulation was further aided by a release of an amount of voltage, the secretion of growth hormones was even more violent than the Yellowstone Caldera. With only a dozen minutes of stimulation, Chen Fan was sure that the electric eel could instantly devour a three-ton shark due to hunger.

After stimulating the pituitary gland intermittently for more than half an hour, the electric eel avatar took off the meteor hammer that was hanging around its neck with its claws, bit off the piece of GPS receiver that ran out of battery and swam forward. If Chen Fan spotted any fish that weighed more than 500 catty along the way, he would control the electric eel to stop directly in front of them and let them enjoy an electrical shock up to 7000 volts. After a short rest, Chen Fan returned to his old resting place and hung back the three-ton meteor hammer on the electric eel’s neck to be used later as exercising equipment. The electric eel was not making a fortune by catching squids or selling porcelains anymore. Chen Fan had already set a higher target which was the human-made tools.

Although the ocean was the greatest treasure of mankind, it was not the ocean that created the treasure, it was humans that do instead. However, the only tools humans could rely on in the ocean were ships and submarines.

What Chen Fan wants to achieve now is: Work hard to train the electric eel so that it can be the ’king’ of the ocean. After an hour of frenzied stimulation that used up most of the electric eel’s physical strength and electrical powers, Chen Fan settled down the electric eel and shifted his consciousness back to his own body.

-------------------

There wasn’t much to do these few days. During the day, Chen Fan would go to the office and carry out the electric eel’s training at night.

Three days passed and Chen Fan received a call from the owner of ’Yuanxiang Craft Products’ saying that they had finished making the wristband and he could drop by to collect it. After getting the wristband that cost him 10,000 RMB, Chen Fan took advantage of the darkness at night to strap the colorful wristband on the electric eel’s claw. After examining it a few times by using electromagnetic induction, Chen Fan nodded with satisfaction as the map measuring 60 centimeters wide was indeed extremely accurate just like the boss promised. One wouldn’t be able to notice the differences even if it was compared with a Google satellite map.

Even after having the wristband, Chen Fan still needed to learn the way to determine his location on the map accurately and he planned to try it out on his next trip to Japan. Japan was only a few hundred miles from Zhongyun city in China. Even if the location was not accurate, Chen Fan would be able to double check the position by using Google satellite map, although it is very troublesome.

Seven days later...

Chen Fan received a call from the sales office of the Bolan Garden, saying that his house renovation was finished and he could officially move in.
