Super Electric Eel Avatar

92 The Electric Eel Was Strengthened
Once the tennis ball-sized, white crystal went into its stomach, the electric eel immediately reacted as though it was a drug addict lying on a bed inhaling opium. It’s whole body felt light and relieved. The electric eel was already addicted to it, but the fish were furious when the crystal was swallowed by the eel, and they acted annoyed and desperate.

Chen Fan looked at the restless group of fish, and since the electric eel had swallowed the crystal, there was no reason to hesitate on letting out the electricity now. The electric eel’s ancestor’s had been able to release electricity since the beginning of their existence. If the eel released electricity, and it shot the crystal in its stomach, it would be an embarrassment to its kind.

After the electric eel bestowed a human-like smile, a voltage as high as seven thousand volts—50 amperes of current—swept through the hundred-meter area like shock waves.

Two seconds—only after two seconds—all the fish were as if they were under a spell of petrified magic. Their bellies floated upwards with their heads down in the water.

After settling the fish, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel to slowly move to the seabed. Then, he immersed the electromagnetic induction into the crystal that had already been swallowed into the stomach to observe what it was made of, and why so many fish went crazy for it.

The white crystals had been soaked in green gastric juice, and the crystals, which were very hard, had shrunk a little under the corrosion of the gastric juice.

With the tracing of electromagnetic induction, these melted, white, crystal elements slowly entered the intestines and then were absorbed by the capillaries that surrounded the intestinal tract that they were attached to, and finally into the blood circulation.

What Chen Fan found next was strange. When the crystal elements diffused into the blood circulation, the body of the electric eel felt warm and it became lethargic and slow moving as though it was in a sauna room.

Was this a precious treasure or what? Chen Fan was a little confused, and the feeling was very similar to that described in a novel he had once read, except the part where the feeling of being burned by the flame was skipped.

It’s not that precious treasures of nature do not exist, because they do, as Chen Fan had seen once on the news. He saw that an old woman inadvertently found a very old, wild, gigantic ginseng in the mountains. Coincidently, this old woman happened to be an expert. She knew that this ginseng was precious. It took a man several days to dig all the roots out. When she came home, she shook off the soil from the ginseng to make tea and drank it. She had not slept for three days and three nights and was full of energy the whole time. The news was a bit exaggerated, but it was reported by almost every major newspaper and television news channel, and it had to be believed that it was true.

Another example was the Ganoderma Lucidum. The Compendium of Materia Medica quoted this thing as, ”The food, if consumed for a long period of time, will cause the body to feel light, prevent aging, and lengthen a lifespan.” In ancient times, many emperors sought it for a long time and sent men to look for it.

For thousands of years, (ginseng, Ganoderma, Ganoderma lucidum, etc.) these things were categorized as precious treasures from nature. But because of the different efficacy, they were divided into many grades. However, according to Chen Fan’s knowledge, there were no such precious treasures like this tennis-ball sized, white crystal.

Now, the white-robed man who gifted him this treasure was dead, and he could not even find someone to ask about it. Chen Fan was a little depressed because he could not even invest a vast amount of money to buy it for the electric eel as a snack.

Just ignore it!

Chen Fan quietly induced the electric eel’s body. He wanted to see if the magic of the treasure could make it feel energetic enough to not need sleep for three days. After about an hour or two, when the crystal had shrunk to the size of the egg, Chen Fan still felt no noticeable change in the electric eel.

After waiting for more than an hour, Chen Fan became so tired that he couldn’t bear it. He laid down on the beach and decided to observe when he woke up. However, when he lay on the beach and slept till the evening, one thing that surprised Chen Fan was that the crystal in the electric eel’s stomach had completely disappeared. The feeling of indolence was gone. Alternatively, the electric eel obtained an inexhaustible supply of power. This feeling was like an athlete taking a stimulant and finding a noticeable improvement in their physical stamina. No—Chen Fan believed that the electric eel was more powerful and it was long-lasting compared to consuming a drug.

”Is it really some precious treasure?” Chen Fan was trembling with excitement.

To test the magic of the crystal, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel to swim to the deep water. How fast was the speed of the electric eel now that it had consumed the ”stimulant”?

If it was the swordfish that swam the fastest in the ocean before, now it would be the electric eel. With a speed of up to 70 knots per hour, it was absolutely possible to out-swim all the big fishing boats and fish in the world.

The electric eel’s fastest speed was about sixty-five knots before, and after eating the crystal, it bumped it up to seventy-eight knots. After controlling the electric eel for about 30 minutes without resting, he did not feel tired at all. Before, it was considered pretty good if he could control the electric eel to swim at full speed for 20 minutes.

After speeding for a while, Chen Fan took two deep breaths and then jerked the electric eel’s belly to try to check if the essential skill of the electric eel had been improved.

Boom!

What shocked Chen Fan was that the electric eel was surrounded by white light from the visible voltage waves which desperately extruded from the electric eel. Then, it spread around for a hundred meters, and slowly disappeared. The effect could compete with a nuclear explosion!

It reached ten thousand volts! The electric eel’s voltage was more than two thousand volts higher than before it had eaten the crystal.

What was the concept of two thousand volts?

The eel used voltage to attack, but to Chen Fan’s dismay, the eel did not stimulate growth like other cells—the current was released by itself. No matter how much voltage Chen Fan tried to stimulate them, they still did not react, and he only could increase the voltage by expanding the size of the electric eel.

”What a precious treasure! No wonder so many fish would not hesitate to have it?”

Chen Fan’s eyes lit up with excitement. The electric eel was the most crucial thing he could rely on and without the electric eel, Chen Fan would only be regarded as an ordinary college student. However, with the electric eel, he was absolutely sure that he would make his own empire in the future. So, the more powerful the electric eel was, the more powerful he would be.

But after endless joy, it was endless melancholy.

Chen Fan had not yet figured out what the treasure was, or where it was sold. If he knew where to get it, he could buy a few catty of it for the electric eel and it would be something like a superman if it was fed with this.

It’s easy to have a lover, but difficult to get an unknown treasure.

With a sigh, Chen Fan had to pack up and get into the submarine. Changing his perspective to the electric eel, Chen Fan abandoned the meteor hammer that had been bent out of shape and decided to make a mightier weapon when he had time.

The submarine felt lighter than before to the electric eel. Along the way, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel with a bumpy and uneasy feeling. The feeling that came from the electric eel’s body reassured him that this was unquestionably not a temporary power increase, but a serious permanent reinforcement.

But Chen Fan still could not believe that all of this was real. The happiness came so suddenly; Chen Fan was unprepared.

...

At nine o’clock in the morning, Chen Fan’s heart grew happier. Because of the electric eel’s enhanced cells, there was still much energy left in him, and there were no such feelings of exhaustion after the excitement.

So, Chen Fan was finally certain that it was a permanent reinforcement, an absolutely permanent reinforcement!

As the electric eel got closer to Zhongyun Cty, Chen Fan didn’t dare to find an island to rest. Instead, he lay in the dark submarine, ready to take a nap first, and then depart to Zhongyun City in the evening.

Eating a white crystal would increase the eel’s voltage to 2,500 volts, which would enable it to travel about eight knots. It would give it almost double the endurance and one and a half times more power.

Before he went to bed, Chen Fan could not help but mutter, ”Wait till I get back and check what it is and earn a lot of money to buy a few truckloads of these for the electric eel. I hope this thing is not like the hundred-year-old wild ginseng. I hope that one is worth millions!” After a whisper, Chen Fan went to sleep.

...

It was seven o’clock in the evening.

He woke up from his dream. After a day and a night of consumption, the air in the submarine was filthy and dry. Fortunately, it was only a few miles from Zhongyun

City, so there were no worries about it.

Waiting for the sky to get dark, he quietly swam out of the sea and went to the sealed dock he bought a few days ago. He took out a key to open the door and let the electric eel push the submarine inside. Then, he locked the door, walked to the roadside, and took a cab back to Bolan Garden.

This ten-day stay in Myanmar was a terrible experience for Chen Fan and the first thing he did after entering his house was to bathe. After taking a bath and eating something to fill his stomach, Chen Fan turned on the computer and got ready to search for the tennis ball-sized, white crystal.

Nowadays, internet information was so developed that you could search for information by just putting in a word such as ”alien”, and not have to say that the search was for a precious treasure from nature.

After entering the search bar with the memory of the white crystal in his mind, Chen Fan glanced at the screen to see if he could obtain any useful information.
