Super Electric Eel Avatar

51 Back to Zhongyun
After swallowing half of the shark’s body and throwing out its tank-size head, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel to the seabed before shifting his thoughts back to himself. He took a glance at the time before covering himself with the blanket and slept. After his busy day, Chen Fan was exhausted. He needed to rest, and so did the electric eel.

Chen Fan slept to his heart’s content and only woke up at five plus in the evening with his eyes squinting. He rubbed away his eye gunk and washed himself up before saying to Wang Bing who was doing push-ups in the living room, ”Go get some hot food and buns, and also a few cans of milk from the supermarket.”

”Yes...” Wang Bing replied lifelessly before putting on his jacket and walked out of the house. Leaning on the couch, Chen Fan took out his phone and dialled Zhang Xueyang’s number.

”Hello, Bro Zhang? My ship has already reached Japan. When will your goods arrive?”

”So fast?” Zhang Xueyang’s elated voice came from the other end of the phone. ”Bro Chen, you’re really efficient. Don’t worry! I won’t let your ship wait too long. I’ve just talked to my classmate in Japan over the phone and he said the goods have been packaged and are now on the way to Mogine Port. They will be able to transport the goods to the beach around two to three hours later.”

”We have to be professional in our business! My ship will fetch your stuff away once they arrive. You’ll be able to see those three machine tools in less than two days.”

”Sure, sure!” Zhang Xueyang’s voice trembled with excitement. ”I’ll make another call now to get them to speed up!”

Inside Zhongyun City’s Jinyuan Villa was a three-story villa with a total area of more than 500 square meters of Baroque architecture.

”Yangyang, are you certain that the man you’re contacting has such capabilities?” A middle aged man was sitting on the recliner chair in the spacious study room as he said with some doubt to Zhang Xueyang who was standing beside him. He had a rosy complexion with some fine wrinkles at the corner of his eyes. Wearing a black, fitting and tastefully-designed traditional Chinese long robe, he was poised and full of vigor.

”Dad, I don’t think he’s faking it!” Zhang Xueyang walked to the side table and poured a cup of tea. ”He didn’t even take a cent for deposit, so our biggest fear is already eliminated.”

”Not anyone can move three huge machine tools from Japan without being discovered. If he really has the ability to bring them back, then the 20 million machines are nothing to him!””Remember this, Yangyang, if he really gets those machines back from Japan, you’ll have to build a good relationship with him in future!” Zhang Aiguo took the cup and sipped some tea. ”You know how the domestic market for high-precision machine tools is, if there’s a way, everyone will be willing to spend a little more to import from overseas. But developed countries are very stringent in this area, I went to look for Ma Rongtao last week to ask for his help to get the three machine tools back from Japan. Guess what he said?”

”What did Uncle Ma say?” Zhang Xueyang looked at his father like a curious child.

”Your Uncle Ma said that it’s not that he doesn’t wanna help, but there’s really nothing that he can do. Japan is getting crazier by the day, other than the various types of testing methods that they have, their marine inspection team in the territorial waters is already enough to cause serious trouble. The stringency of items that they check on is enough to make one’s hair stand. Even a faulty air-conditioning in the crew’s cabin is punishable.”

”Even Uncle Ma can’t get them back?” Zhang Xueyang was shocked. ”I’d thought that you didn’t want to trouble him…”

”If he can settle it, I don’t mind troubling him a hundred times!” Zhang Aiguo sighed. ”Think about it, even your Uncle Ma can’t settle this, now you know how difficult this thing is. Which is why I asked you to build a good relationship with this man. The most important thing in our business now is precision. Even if we can improve the precision on existing resources by just another 0.001 millimeter, it’ll still be a great advantage.”

Zhang Xueyang swallowed his saliva. ”Dad...if that’s the case, wouldn’t our business increase by a few fold?”

If Chen Fan had heard the father and son’s conversation, he might jump out and demand an exorbitant price straightaway. Unfortunately, Chen Fan was now controlling the electric eel, swimming toward Amakusa City in Japan. It was over 100 nautical miles from Fukue Island to Amakusa City. The eel swam for almost four hours before reaching the shore of Amakusa City.

At 10:30 PM, Chen Fan make another call to Zhang Xueyang. ”Hello, Bro Zhang, have your goods arrived? My boat’s already at that Mogine-something Port.”

”Yes, yes!” Zhang Xueyang sounded anxious yet excited. ”They’re on the white beach in the south. The three machine tools have been hauled to the shore!”

”Hmm, I’ll call to ask my men, don’t hang up.” With this, Chen Fan closed his eyes and shifted his thoughts onto the electric eel. At two meters beneath the water surface, the eel’s tongue gently pressed the GPS touchscreen. With the satellite image which had a display ratio of 500:1, he found the inconspicuous beach in the south.

Slowly opening the eel’s eyes, Chen Fan saw that there were indeed three van-size boxes at the intersection between the beach and the sea. There was also a heavy duty truck, a Honda and a crawler forklift not far away.

”Yes, they’re there! Call your men now and ask them to leave. Remember, they have to go far, far away. My men are all refugees and they may open fire if they see outsiders around!”

”Sure, sure, I’ll make the call now!” Zhang Xueyang wiped the cold sweat off his forehead, and then quickly contacted his classmate in Japan.

After returning to the eel, Chen Fan continued to spy from a distance away. A few minutes later, the forklift climbed noisily onto the heavy duty truck. The Honda turned on its headlights and led the truck away, kicking up clouds of dust.

The electric eel’s vision is much better than that of a human being. Under the moonlight, Chen Fan observed that there was nothing else on the faraway beach other than the three huge boxes. When he could no longer hear the engine sound of the truck, Chen Fan controlled the eel to go nearer to the beach.

The three boxes tied with nylon rope laid quietly in the over ten centimeters deep seawater. The eel held its breath, climbed toward them on all fours and hooked one of the boxes into the sea. If someone had witnessed this scene, he would probably kneel onto the ground and shout out, ”Oh my god, there’s a sea dragon alive here!”

Exposing half of its body, the terrifying snake-like creature used the shiny front claws on its belly to hook onto a 10-ton box before using its lower claws to fling it into the sea. Hold on a second...this twenty-meter long creature even had a GPS tied on its front claws…

The 10-ton boxes required great efforts to move on the shore, but they became buoyant once they were in water and did not feel as heavy. After spending more than ten minutes hauling the huge boxes into the sea, Chen Fan controlled the eel to bite onto the hook on one box with its mouth. Its front claws grabbed onto another box, and its back claws the third one. Without looking at the GPS navigation, the eel swam toward Zhongyun City based on its own sense of direction.
