Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

237: graduate SchoolThe next day.

The weather was clear and sunny, but the temperature wasn’t very high, and the wind was cool.

Xu Bai, dressed in a sharp suit, was about to leave, but he didn’t plan to take Xu Le with him, so he entrusted Xu Le to the aunt Yin Su had sent earlier to look after him.

Xu Le showed no reluctance; for him, he wasn’t alone, as Fuguai was there to keep him company.

Xu Le, holding Fuguai, happily waved goodbye to his brother.

Xu Bai also waved goodbye to Xu Le.

After he left, Li Lan and Li Yue were already waiting there.

During their conversation at dinner yesterday, Li Lan suggested that Xu Bai visit the company, otherwise, after the company had been established for so long, they wouldn’t even know what their big boss looked like.

However, Xu Bai refused; he didn’t understand much about company matters, and in his opinion, he had nothing to discuss with the company management. They only needed to do their jobs well, and knowing or not knowing who the boss was or what he looked like wouldn’t have any impact.

Besides, now that cameras existed, they could find out what he looked like from newspapers later on.

Although Xu Bai wasn’t interested in going to the company, he still proposed visiting the company’s research institute. After all, the company’s development ultimately relied on constantly updated cardss.

He wanted to see the capabilities of the researchers the company hired, and if there were any problems, he could teach them and help them become more familiar with computers, as they were, after all, earning money for him... After the three arrived at the research institute, Li Lan arranged for the head of the research institute to meet Xu Bai, and then the head took Xu Bai to various research labs.

After all, Xu Bai didn’t intend to make an incognito visit, so meeting the head of the research institute first was very necessary.

Otherwise, if he were mistaken for someone who had snuck in, it wouldn’t be good; would they then have to stage a face-slapping drama? That would be looking for trouble.

The name Xu Bai now used to introduce himself was Bai Xiaobai. There was no other way; Bai Xiaobai was more famous, and people recognized that name more.

Xu Bai suddenly thought of a saying: ’Lu Xun, originally named Zhou Shuren, was from Shaoxing, Zhejiang.’ He wondered if his future introduction would be like this: ’Bai Xiaobai, originally named Xu Bai, was from Xingyao, Z Province.’ Thinking of this, Xu Bai couldn’t help but want to laugh a little...

”Currently, we have 6 researchers, all professional Card Makers, and 48 research assistants. They all have innovative achievements. We also have 369 ordinary Card Makers.

We divide them into 6 experimental groups for research, with each group having 1 professional Card Maker and 8 assistants. Currently, only two groups have creative research achievements; the other four groups have only made some innovations to existing cardss.

Our ordinary Card Makers are assigned to mass-produce the company’s existing cardss, but we also give them opportunities. The company conducts weekly assessments, and if they pass, they will be promoted and can become research assistants. Of course, if they are capable, we can also exceptionally promote them to researchers.

At the same time, we are also concerned about people holding positions without contributing, so we also assess researchers and research assistants. However, demotion only occurs if they fail three consecutive assessments.”

Zhao Tongyi, the head of the research institute, introduced the institute’s situation to Xu Bai.

Xu Bai nodded, quite satisfied with this assessment system, as it ensures that capable people are not overlooked and incapable people do not monopolize resources.

”Hmm, what projects are they currently researching, and what progress has been made? Or have they encountered any problems?”

Zhao Tongyi had been waiting for him to ask about this.

After all, Bai Xiaobai was at the forefront of electrical energy development; if he could give the researchers a lesson, it would likely bring them a lot of inspiration.

Furthermore, all the researchers at the institute greatly admired him; several researchers joined the Thunderbolt Company’s research institute specifically because of Bai Xiaobai, so they had long been looking forward to his visit.

In fact, it was rare for professional researchers to join new companies, as they were already professional Card Makers and didn’t lack money.

However, Thunderbolt Company, a new company, had 6 professional researchers, and it was highly probable that they joined because of Bai Xiaobai.

”Card Maker Bai, what you taught about future stories at the training camp has been relayed to the researchers by Card Maker Wu, and they are all very interested.

So, the researchers are currently studying the electrical appliances you mentioned. The dishwasher cards has already been produced. For other products, such as refrigerators and microwave ovens, I wonder if you have time to explain them in detail to them. Of course, it would be even better if you could say more.”

Xu Bai nodded.

Zhao Tongyi was very happy to see Xu Bai nod and immediately arranged for someone to gather everyone in the research institute in the large conference room, fearing that Xu Bai might change his mind...

The researchers were very confused when they heard they had to stop their research and gather in the large conference room.

After all, they had only gathered once at the very beginning.

The person who came to notify them, seeing their Chichi lack of action, then revealed that Bai Xiaobai was going to give them a lesson.

Upon hearing this news, the researchers’ hearts burst with joy.

They knew that if you longed for something, there would be a response. They could finally meet Card Maker Bai Xiaobai. If it weren’t for the company having so many electricity-related products, they would have suspected that the company was using Bai Xiaobai as a pretense to trick them into joining.

However, later when they heard that Bai Xiaobai had taken people to the Luo Lan Empire for a competition, they patiently waited.

Unexpectedly, Bai Xiaobai was back now and even planned to give them a lesson; everyone was extremely excited.

The researchers quickly put down what they were doing, picked up their notebooks, and headed to the large conference room, and the research assistants, seeing this, also followed suit.

In less than twenty minutes, everyone had arrived.

Zhao Tongyi’s assistant finished counting the numbers and, after confirming everyone was present, quickly ran to report. Zhao Tongyi then gestured for the assistant to close the door and walked onto the podium.

”Good morning, everyone. I know that you all joined our Thunderbolt Company partly because you are interested in electrical energy, and partly because you are interested in our electrical energy creator, Mr. Bai Xiaobai.

Today, I am very pleased to tell you that Card Maker Bai Xiaobai is here today. However, please calm down first and do not start asking questions immediately.

Next, Card Maker Bai will give you a lesson. After this lesson, we will also reserve time for questions, so you can ask Card Maker Bai any questions you have during the Q&A session after class.

Alright, I won’t say more and will hand the podium over to Card Maker Bai.”

Xu Bai then walked onto the podium.
