Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

235: Company Recent NewsXu Bai had no family; Li Lan and Li Yue came to pick him up. After saying goodbye to the other teachers, they drove Xu Bai and Xu Le towards the company.

Now that Xu Bai had just returned, they certainly didn’t intend for him to start work immediately, but rather to take him back to rest.

There were dedicated employee dormitories next to the company. Li Lan and Li Yue had been living there since they were in B Province, and of course, a room had been arranged for Xu Bai, the big boss.

Li Lan drove, while Li Yue sat in the back chatting with Xu Bai, giving him a brief report on the company’s recent situation.

Thunderbolt Company had a certain share in all the electricity-related cardss participating in this competition. At the same time, their company could also produce and sell them. So, before the competition results were sent back to the country, they had already had their Card Makers produce and duplicate these cardss, accumulating a large batch of cardss in the warehouse.

As soon as the newspaper announced the competition results and the cardss, they immediately began selling them, and sales were exceptionally booming.

In fact, even if they hadn’t waited until the end of the competition to sell these cardss, they would have been just as popular, as all kinds of electricity-related cardss are currently very well-liked.

Although these cardss were not exclusive to them, the market in Tianlong Republic was very large, and many cardss were still in short supply. For this reason, in addition to cooperating with Fang Mu and their three companies, they also specifically selected some partners to produce and sell together.

At the same time, the Hall family from Luo Lan Empire was also their partner, and their sincerity was very good.

Sometimes, it’s excellent for a company’s product to be exclusive, but if every single item is exclusive, it will attract a lot of envy.

Envy can drive people crazy, and at such times, others might very likely try to trip up Thunderbolt Company. Therefore, cooperating with others is still very necessary. This will avoid such situations, and if there are any problems, others will also help them solve them, allowing everyone to cooperate for mutual benefit.

Currently, the highest sales revenue for Thunderbolt Company’s products comes from electric vehicle cardss, followed by washing machine cardss and electric fan cardss. This is partly because the selling prices are relatively high, and partly because they are closely related to everyone’s daily lives.

The highest sales volume comes from power bank cardss and power strip cardss. This is due to the current electricity situation in homes; some people with electricity can even earn money by charging others’ power banks. This was an unexpected way to make money for Xu Bai, but this situation should gradually decrease once every household has electricity.

Currently, many people do not buy juicer cardss, meat grinder cardss, and vacuum cleaner cardss for their homes. More often, they are purchased by shop owners to save on labor costs.

At the same time, some Card Makers recruited by Thunderbolt Company were not idle either. They also developed new cardss, creating dishwasher cardss and massager cardss. Although there weren’t many products, this gave Xu Bai a big surprise. In the future, the company would also be able to independently develop products, not relying solely on him.

As they chatted, they arrived at their destination.

Initially, the company’s site was chosen in the suburbs, but now this area doesn’t look like the suburbs; it has become prosperous, and the reason for all of this is Thunderbolt Company.

At the same time, Thunderbolt Company’s scale has continuously expanded in just a few months. Not only has the main company’s area grown, but it has also established branches in several provinces. Thunderbolt Company is currently the company with the best development momentum and the greatest potential.

However, because Xu Bai had agreed with them from the beginning that the company would not go public, investors waving cash couldn’t find a way in... Driving into the company park, it was lush green inside. Xu Bai didn’t know much about these flowers and plants and could only comment that the landscaping was well done.

Then, the first thing that caught his eye was the company building. Due to the limited development of building materials at the time, the building was not very tall, only 6 stories high, but it was very wide, almost comparable to the large shopping malls Xu Bai had seen in his previous life.

However, Xu Bai was not in the mood to inspect the company building at the moment, so he didn’t go in for a detailed look, and the car continued to drive forward.

Next, they saw a very well-designed building, which Li Yue said was the Research Building. The Research Building had 6 floors, but it was divided into three floors above ground and three underground. At the same time, to ensure the safety of research personnel, there was also a dedicated Guard Team protecting it.

Adjacent to the Research Building was the company’s cafeteria. The company cafeteria was also very large, offering a wide variety of food. At the same time, if company personnel had needs, they could also have dedicated staff deliver food, but this was limited to company team leaders and above, and all research personnel.

In fact, it was initially because research personnel fainted after forgetting to eat due to experiments, which made Li Lan notice the issue of employee meals. In his opinion, hiring people specifically to deliver food wouldn’t cost much, so he set up a delivery department. Because of this, it also boosted employees’ work enthusiasm.

Next, they arrived at the employee dormitories. Although called employee dormitories, the architectural styles were also different, roughly divided into three types: one was ordinary apartment-style buildings, which most employees could apply to live in for only two hundred yuan a month, with free water and electricity; another was considered townhouses, which were for middle-level company employees and ordinary researchers; and the last and best type was detached villas, which were for company executives and research team leaders. Xu Bai would certainly live in a detached villa.

Soon, they arrived at the villa arranged for Xu Bai.

The location of the villa was chosen by Xu Bai himself; it was relatively secluded, backed by a river on one side, and Xu Bai was very satisfied with it.

The only unsatisfactory thing was that it was a bit far from the cafeteria; it would take more than twenty minutes to walk there slowly.

But thankfully, there were now electric vehicles. He could drive an electric vehicle to take Xu Le to the cafeteria to eat, and it should take less than five minutes. Thinking of this, Xu Bai nodded.

Li Lan and Li Yue saw Xu Bai nod and thought he was very satisfied with what they had done, and they also smiled happily.

Xu Bai did not expose them.

As for why some might wonder why they didn’t have someone specifically deliver the food, it was because Xu Bai felt that if it was delivered, wouldn’t that just be takeout? Meals taste better when they’re hot.

Secondly, Xu Bai also hoped that Xu Le could meet more people, so as to avoid becoming a shut-in later.

After Xu Bai arrived home, he said he wanted to sleep, so Li Lan and Li Yue said goodbye and went to the neighboring villa.

Xu Bai lay on the two-meter-wide bed, rolled over once, and then fell into a deep sleep, while Xu Le had already fallen asleep in the car and was now sleeping on the small bed next to him.
