Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

189: Want to win onceAfter getting Teacher Bai Xiaobai’s permission, Ji Jingping immediately ran to Teacher Bai Shan’s office in one go, hoping to get the other Teacher Bai’s consent as soon as possible.

At this time, he was no longer as calm as before, showing some youthful righteousness... ”You mean you want to choose my course and Bai Xiaobai’s course? Choose two courses? Can you handle it?”

Bai Shan looked at the young man in front of him, posing his question.

After all, each teacher’s course still had a certain level of difficulty.

Just learning and understanding one teacher’s lessons required a lot of time and effort, let alone learning two teachers’ courses.

In his opinion, it was already very difficult to learn the superficial content taught by a teacher in just one month; to delve deeper would likely require even more time.

This student was a bit too ambitious.

He probably thought the teachers were very capable and greedily wanted to learn all their skills.

One should know that simply attending class doesn’t guarantee learning...

Bai Shan was contemplating whether to refuse directly or to criticize him first and then refuse.

”Teacher Bai, I think I can do it. Teacher Bai Xiaobai agreed to my request.”

Hearing that Bai Xiaobai agreed, Bai Shan thought for a moment.

Was there some hidden reason?

Or was this person Bai Xiaobai’s relative?

Otherwise, why would Bai Xiaobai agree?

”What’s your name?”

”My name is Ji Jingping.”

”Oh, so you’re Ji Jingping.”

Bai Shan understood why Bai Xiaobai agreed; after all, for smart people, learning two courses wasn’t difficult, and for him, it certainly wasn’t difficult.

The person in front of him didn’t seem stupid based on his grades, and he actually preferred teaching smart people, so he decided to give him a chance, hoping his cards-making ability was high.

”Your grades are good. I also agree, but I will give you a test paper every 7 days, and you need to score above 90 each time for me to let you continue studying.”

”Okay.”

Just like that, Ji Jingping, having obtained the consent of both Teacher Bais, chose two elective courses from two teachers.

The next day, this matter became known to many people.

This matter also caused quite a stir in the training camp.

And this stir had both good and bad repercussions.

The good was that it could motivate other trainees to work harder and be more proactive.

As for the bad...

...”Why can he choose two teachers’ courses, while we aren’t even allowed to switch teams?”

Zhang Hao was very angry; he was one of the trainees who wanted to switch teams some time ago.

Originally, because the training camp didn’t agree, he had already accepted the courses he didn’t particularly like. However, when he saw that someone could break the rules and choose two teachers’ courses, he became even angrier the more he thought about it, even wanting to rush over and fight Ji Jingping.

But then he thought, if he fought the other party, he might be expelled from the training camp. At the same time, this matter was not something Ji Jingping could decide; it was the teachers of the training camp who agreed to let Ji Jingping choose two courses, so they needed to find the administrators of the training camp to revoke Ji Jingping’s privilege.

However, his opposition alone was useless; the training camp would certainly not heed his single objection. He needed to find a few like-minded people to jointly oppose it.

Only with more voices would they have influence.

Who should he look for?

He had it! In the academy, wasn’t Gao Wenhan always at odds with Ji Jingping?

There were also several others who didn’t particularly like Ji Jingping.

He could talk to all of them; perhaps they would agree with his idea.

So Zhang Hao found several other trainees who were usually at odds with Ji Jingping to chat... They were relatively easy to find, as they were all students from the same academy.

Although they had friction among themselves and usually looked down on each other, there was no deep enmity, so they wouldn’t avoid each other.

Soon, Zhang Hao gathered everyone together.

Everyone gathered to discuss the matter.

Although their relationships weren’t particularly good among themselves, Ji Jingping’s relationship with them was even worse.

So, opposing Ji Jingping together temporarily united them.

There was no other way; every time there was an exam or competition, Ji Jingping would gain the upper hand, consistently suppressing them. They had always wanted to defeat Ji Jingping.

Therefore, everyone agreed to Zhang Hao’s proposal, all wanting to cause Ji Jingping some discomfort...

”At that time, the teachers might want to ask us what our thoughts are, and what purpose do we want to achieve by opposing this? Do you have anything to say about this?”

Gao Wenhan asked the group.

Xie Yongchao: ”Is it to ask the teachers to agree to lift the elective course restrictions, so everyone can choose multiple elective courses? Or is it to ask the teachers to agree to let everyone re-form teams, and then everyone can choose the courses they want?”

Gao Wenhan looked at Xie Yongchao and said, ”Among us here, how many have the ability to choose two elective courses? I’m afraid there are no others besides you and me.”

No one refuted; they knew their own limitations.

Zhang Hao: ”Aren’t we using the teachers not letting us switch teams as a pretext? We can ask the teachers to agree to let us switch teams.”

Gao Wenhan shook his head.

”The idea of asking the teachers to agree to re-form teams is probably impossible, as they must have discussed it before making the decision ’not to allow everyone to re-form teams’.”

Xie Yongchao agreed with Gao Wenhan, as the teachers surely wanted them to learn more and win awards, and re-forming teams was indeed not a good idea.

But there had to be a reason.

Xie Yongchao frowned: ”How about we just talk about the rules?”

Everyone: ”Rules?”

”Yes, just say that the original rule was one person chooses one elective course, and this rule cannot be broken just for him.”

”Indeed, why should this rule be broken for him alone?”

Gao Wenhan: ”Your point is very good. Our goal is to disrupt Ji Jingping’s course selection.

However, at the same time, we must also give the other party a choice. Otherwise, the teachers might favor him because of his good grades.”

”Then how should we give the other party a choice? Should we make a bet with him? What should we bet on?”

”Isn’t our group the most creative when it comes to making new cardss? What do you think about competing with him in cards making?”

”You mean, we compare the new cardss we’re making this time with him, and he also has to create a new cards, and the deadline for course selection is tomorrow afternoon, so he doesn’t have much time to make new cardss.”

Gao Wenhan smiled and nodded: ”Yes, this is to ensure he doesn’t have time to prepare. That’s the only way we can win. If we give him time, we won’t win.”

Although Gao Wenhan’s words were a bit like boosting the morale of others and dampening their own.

Nevertheless, no matter what, being able to win a competition against Ji Jingping would make them very happy; they wanted to win once, so they all agreed to his proposal.

After the discussion, everyone, fearing that too much time would pass and the decision would be finalized, immediately found the person in charge of the training camp to report the matter.
