Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

31: Buy copyright“Alright, I’ll arrange a split for you then.” General Manager Fang felt his brother was sincere, so he ended the conversation.

If he didn’t have a family, General Manager Fang could start his own business and wasn’t worried about losing his position as heir. But it was still better for brothers to get along...

In the evening, Xu Bai, who had just finished dinner and was digesting, heard a knock at his door.

“Who is it?”

“Hello, is this Mr. Xu Bai? I’m Zhang Yan, the Marketing Manager for Riyao Group. We’re here to purchase the cards copyrights from you.”

Hearing this, Xu Bai opened the door. He hadn’t expected Riyao Group to be so efficient; he thought it would be tomorrow.

“Hello, please come in.”

Zhang Yan, the Marketing Manager for Riyao Group, walked into Xu Bai’s room, and a spacious living room greeted his eyes.

A white sofa was paired with a transparent coffee table. On the coffee table sat a low-saturation blue mug, next to a stack of cookies.

Behind the sofa was a large row of built-in cabinets, filled with various children’s toys.

Xu Bai led Zhang Yan to sit on the sofa and asked:

“Hello, what would you like to drink? Tea or a beverage?”

“Just a glass of plain water, please.”

“Okay.”

Xu Bai walked towards the kitchen, pulled out a cards, inserted it into the cards reader to retrieve a transparent cup, and poured Zhang Yan a glass of plain water.

“Here.”

Zhang Yan took the transparent cup offered to him and felt it.

“Are this cup and the coffee table made of star energy stone? I feel like they don’t quite seem like star energy stone.”

“They are not star energy stone; they are cardss, all one-star cardss.”

“cardss? That’s quite interesting.”

“Is this uncommon? I saw someone make a Magnifying Glass cards last year, and steam locomotive cardss should also have transparent windows, right?”

“No, these types of transparent materials are usually made by polishing used star energy stone. The Magnifying Glass cards from last year wasn’t this transparent, and the steam locomotive windows were star energy stone windows installed later. star energy stone is just too expensive.”

“So that’s how it is.”

“Yes, yes, do you sell the copyrights for your transparent cup cards and transparent coffee table cards?”

“I’m not selling those two. How about this: let’s first confirm the previous cards collaboration, and we can discuss these two later.”

Hearing Xu Bai’s request, Zhang Yan didn’t refuse. It was currently a seller’s market, and Card Maker still held a relatively high status.

Xu Bai took the contract handed to him and read each page carefully. Perhaps because of Xu Bai’s acquaintance with Fang Mu, there were no traps in the contract.

It only regulated the sales situation, prohibiting low-price wholesale to others, and stating that the selling price per cards could not be less than 50 yuan. Xu Bai had no objections to these terms, so he signed his name at the end.

“I think this contract is acceptable. Next, I’ll discuss my requirements for these two cardss.”

When Zhang Yan heard this, he knew that Xu Bai did not intend to directly sell the copyrights for the next two cardss.

“For these two cardss, I want to share the profits with your company. As you know, this cards can be part of a series of products, such as desks, ornaments, tea sets, lamps, windows, and so on. The description for making this material is in my mind.”

“Are you saying you want to invest in this product series with the Card Maker idea for these types of cardss and then share the profits? However, you should know that others can also make transparent things. To achieve this level of transparency, they just need to spend some time researching it.”
