Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

14: idea“Do you have anything you want to innovate right now? It’s June 2nd, and there are only 28 days left until the cardss must be submitted.”

Hearing Xu Bai’s question, the three fell silent. They hadn’t thought of anything to innovate yet.

It wasn’t that they didn’t want to innovate anything, but rather that they had too many ideas and wanted to innovate everything at the moment.

Li Baoyu had a flash of inspiration. “Oh, right, how about we innovate the Magnifying Glass?”

Was the Magnifying Glass only made last year?

A question popped into Xu Bai’s mind. He realized that he had, unconsciously, made an error of empiricism again.

In modern times, the earliest records of magnifying glasses can be traced back to around 700 BC, when Assyrians made lenses similar to magnifying glasses from crystal. Ancient Romans and Greeks used glass containers filled with water as lenses.

In the 13th century, Roger Bacon of England made magnifying glasses from glass sheets and recommended them for reading. At that time, monks also used a type of lens called a reading stone (a glass sphere cut in half) to read scriptures. This is considered the period when the Magnifying Glass was formally invented.

While this world saw the creation of the 18th-century steam locomotive this year, the Magnifying Glass was made last year.

Xu Bai scratched his head.

He suddenly remembered that all these things were created through imagination in one’s mind and then produced as cardss, not through social technological development.

That is to say, to know which cardss exist and which do not in this world, he just needs to search with a cards reader.

Thinking of this, Xu Bai picked up the cards reader on the counter and started searching.

Telescope, no. Tools for looking far away, no. Magnifying Glass related tools, no Telescope found.

Perfect. This means that the Telescope cards has not yet been created in this world.

Then they can create a Telescope.

A Magnifying Glass uses the principle of convex lens refraction to form an upright, magnified virtual image of an object, allowing the human eye to see smaller details more clearly.

A Telescope collects light from distant objects through an objective lens (convex lens or concave mirror), and after focusing, the eyepiece (convex lens) magnifies the image, solving the problem of the human eye being unable to see distant objects clearly.

Telescopes are divided into refracting Telescopes and reflecting Telescopes.

The principle is the same, but the latter has a more complex structure than the former.

That is to say, a simple Telescope only requires combining a convex lens and a concave lens in a tube.

The principle is very simple. Once he understands this principle and sketches the design, he can create the cards.

Although Xu Bai could make it himself, he realized that he had many ideas that he couldn’t complete alone, and even if he did, he couldn’t protect them well.

Xu Bai thought of training the three of them. Their three families are all large families, and it’s good to have a big tree to lean on.

If it weren’t for the fact that college entrance exams could only be taken in one’s registered household area, where would he find partners in this small county town?

He would first see if this collaboration was suitable, and then he could let them follow his ideas to create other cardss.

This way, he could both bring things from another world into this one and stimulate their imagination, perhaps even leading to unexpected gains.

In these days without a mobile phone, Xu Bai really couldn’t adapt.

He wanted to play games, watch TV shows, and eat delicious food from all over the country.

No more thinking. The more he thought, the sadder he became.
