Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

3: Card recyclingAfter changing him, Xu Le was carried back to the living room and placed in the toy pile, with Fugui watching over him.

Xu Bai returned to the bathroom to clean up the mess. The basin was put back in its place, and whatever needed to be thrown away was discarded.

He came across the used diaper cards and examined it carefully.

The cards’s image was very simple: the top half showed a picture of a diaper, and the bottom half had the cards’s description, level, and number of uses.

This was a basic cards, without star ratings, belonging to the lifestyle category. One cards could only be used 9 times, and now it had been used 8 times, leaving 1 more use before it could be recycled.

Besides One-Star basic cardss, there were also Two-Star cardss that could be used 8 times, Three-Star cardss that could be used 7 times, and so on, up to Nine-Star cardss that could be used 1 time.

It’s also important to note that cardss of level 5 and above could be recharged to increase their number of uses. Energy cardss for recharging needed to be purchased at official Energy Guild specialty stores. The energy came from star energy stone. Although the price was relatively high, it was still quite cheap compared to the cards itself.

Other cardss, once their uses were depleted, were not thrown away. They needed to be recycled at the county’s unified recycling station on the 1st of every month, just like beverage bottles in the previous world, which could be recycled for money.

The difference was that a cards could be recycled for 9 yuan, while a beverage bottle could be recycled for 0.3 yuan. The recycling price for different star-rated cardss increased exponentially.

If a cards had only been used once or twice and was no longer wanted, individuals could also list it for sale on the Guild’s trading platform.

However, it was important to note that selling in large quantities required obtaining a qualification certificate.

Fortunately, the original owner’s parents had left behind a cards shop, and the qualification certificate had been updated two days prior, registered under Xu Bai’s name.

Xu Bai placed the cards back in the drawer and walked into the original owner’s mother’s workshop.

The original owner’s mother was a Three-Star Card Maker, which was considered quite good among ordinary people, while the original owner was a Two-Star Card Maker.

Xu Bai no longer needed to study; becoming a One-Star Card Maker allowed one to graduate from school, having mastered the basic content of cards making. Further advancement depended on individual aptitude.

This aptitude was essentially each person’s imagination; the richer the imagination and the more active the mind, the higher the aptitude.

Reaching Two-Star Card Maker status granted the qualification to apply for opening a cards shop. Fortunately, the original owner reached Two-Star Card Maker status one year after graduating from the academy, otherwise this accident might have led to the shop’s qualification being revoked, instead of being smoothly inherited by the original owner.

Currently, some basic cards rights are open, and everyone can make them.

If everyone can make them, then will anyone still buy them?

Of course, some people will buy them!

Think about it: if you can cook, will you still order takeout?

Of course, you’ll order takeout!

After all, cooking isn’t something one has time to do every day, and takeout is different from home-cooked meals, with some delicious options available.

Similarly, not everyone has time to make basic cards; they have more important things to do. Each person’s handmade cardss will also have subtle differences.

Xu Bai had a flash of inspiration while changing his younger brother’s diaper.

Currently, tissues only provide basic wiping, meaning there are only slight differences in quantity and thickness, but no tissues specifically for special groups, such as tissues made for children.

After all, a child’s skin is too delicate; one wipe can cause redness, and multiple wipes might even cause bleeding. This is not good at all.

Furthermore, children are the most prone to getting dirty, so tissue usage is very high.

Xu Bai now wanted to create a tissue specifically for infants and young children—cloud soft tissue.
