Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

When the thought flashed through his mind, Xiao He was startled.

It seems he never imagined he possessed such lofty ambitions.

But upon closer reflection, nothing is impossible.

If he could extract all the information and vast knowledge within the criminal system and then use that knowledge to refine the criminal investigation system, wouldn’t that create a perfect closed loop?

As the saying goes, bad guys need bad guys to teach them a lesson.

His ”criminal talent,” which has nowhere to go, should be used to deal with criminals!

However, this matter cannot be accomplished overnight.

Xiao He inquired further about the current status of Dai Bai’s project, but did not immediately agree. He simply said that once he returned to Shanghai, he would consider studying the AI detection and countermeasure system.

At the very least, we need to establish a solid foundation for AI-controlled AI.

”Okay, I was just suggesting it to you, no need to rush.”

Dai Bai stood up, then seemed to remember something and said to Xiao He, ”I heard you’re going to film abroad... Be careful. Things haven’t been peaceful abroad these past few years. If possible, don’t stay abroad for too long. It’s best to bring more people with you to protect your personal safety. The incident you had at the airport abroad last time really scared us.”

As he said this, he pushed up his thick glasses, his gaze more sincere than ever before: ”Xiao He, you are very important to many people.”

Xiao He was taken aback, not expecting Dai Bai to be so mushy. He chuckled and said, ”Yes, I know.”

Of course he’ll want to live a long and healthy life, after all, he hasn’t achieved his new life goals yet—

-

So Dai Bai said goodbye to Xiao He and left.

He’s even busier than Xiao He right now. After attending this gathering, he’ll head back to Beijing overnight to continue his current project.

After Dai Bai left, Liu Rulan, who had been waiting nearby, came over.

”Are you talking about company matters?”

She asked it casually.

“Yes, and also Lao Dai’s future career path.” Xiao He responded, “If nothing unexpected happens, he will be doing research and development while pursuing his doctorate—tsk tsk, I wonder if he will be able to keep his hair.”

Thinking of Dai Bai’s receding hairline, Xiao He touched the top of his head with lingering fear, then breathed a sigh of relief.

Therefore, researchers must have a spirit of dedication.

The reason he couldn’t do it was that he couldn’t bear to sacrifice his hair.

Thinking about it this way, Xiao He felt even more that Dai Bai and the others were so great.

—Why don’t we send a few boxes of hair growth serum to Lao Dai and Engineer Wang?

Tsk, but these days hair growth serums don’t seem to be that effective.

Xiao He thought of Wang Gong’s bald head and began to ponder.

Now that this small goal has been set—

His gaze shifted to his system panel.

Or, as the first step, could we just get the hair growth serum formula from the system?

After all, in the world where the system is located, there must be no more worries about baldness, right?

Ahem, so what crimes might be related to this kind of knowledge...?

Hmm... knowledge of crimes related to medicine?

-

”Aren’t you going to consider trying to keep me?”

Xiao He’s wandering thoughts were pulled back by Liu Rulan.

Liu Rulan asked, half-jokingly and half-seriously, ”If he leaves later, your company will have a huge shortfall.”

Xiao He immediately forgot about that random hair growth serum, then waved his hand and said, ”Forget it, it’s good that he’s been recruited. Now we have people inside us, so we won’t be worried. As for the rest of the team, it’s impossible for them all to be taken away. Some people will probably prefer to stay in the company.”

”Haha, okay, I knew you’d think that way.”

Liu Rulan smiled helplessly and didn’t ask any further questions. Instead, she said, ”The schedule for this year hasn’t been fully finalized yet. Do you have any other ideas?”

It’s not that we’re being slow or that we have no choice; it’s just that we’ve received far too many scripts.

Not only domestic scripts, but also overseas ones, including scripts from several directors and investors I’ve worked with before. With all of these piled up, it’s really hard to decide what to do next right away.

”I won’t take on any overseas projects for now. I have new projects coming out in the next few months, so staying in China is the most suitable option and it’s also convenient for promotion. And if I’m not mistaken, the release of ’Long’ and the filming of ’Phantom Thief 3’ will both require me to go abroad, so I’ll have plenty of opportunities to go out then. I’ll just put other filming activities on hold for now.”

Xiao He said it very casually.

”Yes, that’s what I think too.”

Liu Rulan nodded and crossed out all the Hollywood scripts that the big foreign companies had sent her: ”If nothing unexpected happens, the third season of ’Yuya’ will start filming in March. If you don’t want to take on any scripts for the time being, then we can wait and talk about it after we finish filming ’Yuya’. There’s no rush, anyway, you don’t need any scripts right now.”

”What you really lack now is a better script and a more suitable character design.”

She paused for a moment, then remembered that it was Xiao He’s birthday today, and several actors from the ”Yu Ye” production team had come to celebrate. This was not only because of their friendship, but also because Zhuang Hongyi was helping out behind the scenes.

But Zhuang Hongyi—

Those are the kind of businessmen who won’t get up early for nothing.

If that’s the case, then the official announcement of the final season of ”Sumiya” should be coming in the next few days.

After all, the core cast and crew have basically been assembled.

As for the other supporting characters... cough cough, actually, despite having a lot of original cast members, guess why the first and second seasons were filmed together in one go?

Because these people only appear in flashbacks later on, as they were all killed by the main villain Yin Qi in the first and second seasons.

Yes, it’s a very real problem. Yin Qi, the main villain, really stopped pretending in the later stages and killed everyone he could. So by the end of the third season, there weren’t many of the main characters left.

If it’s not possible to gather all the people in this group, it doesn’t really matter. There are many ways to replace this part of the storyline. Whether it’s deleting it directly or using content from the first or second season to force a flashback, these are all good and convenient options.

Well, if that’s the case, we should thank Yin Qi. It’s good to have a villain who can kill people. After killing everyone, the sequel doesn’t even need to wait for the cast of the previous film to be assembled. It can start filming right away. This is really a bit of a hellish joke.

Liu Rulan suppressed her urge to complain about this ”hellish joke” and continued to discuss the upcoming itinerary with Xiao He. Just then, Xiao He’s phone rang.

Xiao He glanced at the message on his phone, then chuckled and waved it at Liu Rulan: ”Sure enough, nothing can withstand being talked about. See? As soon as I started talking about it, trouble came knocking.”

Liu Rulan glanced at it and raised an eyebrow: ”That’s good. It seems your work will be back on schedule.”

—The production team of the third season of ”Otoya” has officially issued a notice.
