Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

The trailer for Chapter 957, ”Confrontation Across Time and Space,” is here!

On New Year’s Day, ”Time and Space Standoff” officially announced its participation in the Spring Festival film season and released its first promotional trailer.

It’s clear that the producers are very confident in ”Time and Space Standoff,” and they practically dropped a bombshell right from the start: a one-minute-and-thirty-second long video trailer, which was unexpectedly released on various video platforms and instantly gained a lot of attention and traffic.

One second the fans were scrolling through Xiao He’s video of playing games on his live stream last night, but they never expected that the next video they scrolled down would be the official video of ”Time Confrontation”.

The scene opens with a star carrying a point of light traversing the Milky Way, eventually disappearing into the deeper reaches of the universe.

As the starlight swept across the screen again, the dark sky was pierced by that unusual point of light, and from the gaps between the dark buildings, a non-human mechanical arm emerged first.

The arm mechanically wiped the cracks in the wall in front of it, as if searching for something. Finally, the arm retracted into the darkness and disappeared in an instant, leaving only the professor’s corpse lying on the ground.

At the same time, a voice-over rang out: ”They’re back.”

”who?”

The scene then brightened considerably. The young man in combat gear, clutching his helmet, strolled forward casually, smiling as he followed his captain and said, ”So, according to you, can that guy still be considered human? Or is he just a pure machine? Can he even possess human thought?”

The seasoned captain also took off his helmet, tapped the hard shell with his fingers, and smiled at the camera: ”Who knows?”

”Perhaps we can only tentatively call it—”

”Cyber life?”

As soon as the words were spoken, the previously gentle scene abruptly shifted, and the massive mech stretched out its body completely in front of everyone. Then, to everyone’s astonishment, its thick arms slightly opened, instantly intercepting all the attacks from the outside.

”boom!”

A massive mushroom cloud rose from the ground, and a robot, its mechanical components half-exposed from the explosion, emerged from the flames. Its red-glowing, inhuman mechanical eyes adjusted within its bloodless, silver-blue brain, allowing silver liquid to flow slowly.

Finally, the red dot, resembling a camera, locked onto the target ahead.

So the robot, which had been tilting its head slightly, raised its arm, and its mechanized limbs disintegrated and quickly reassembled into a firearm, firing shells in that instant—

With an even louder roar, the scene shifted again, and the cool mech pushed through the smoke, delivering a powerful punch to the people below!

The camera then rapidly jumps between shots, introducing multiple characters.

Robots with enhanced physical bodies and mechanical ascension, mechs with cyber life and loyal human companions, and humans standing at a crossroads of key technologies from the past, yet still lost... Three ”life forms” from different timelines collided fiercely in the same timeline.

—Is knowing the future a good thing, or another tragic crossroads?

Countless images flashed by, eventually fading into numbers on a black screen, which continued to jump rapidly in the center—

【Mech Empowerment】

【Taking one path to an extreme?】

”If you say that taking the path of mechanics is wrong, then why did the mechs come back?”

In the laboratory, the female professor pushed up her glasses and looked solemnly at the figure in front of her.

”Are we at what they call a critical historical crossroads, or has their appearance disrupted the historical process that our timeline should have followed?”

Are we their past, or their future that has already been altered?

【Traveling through parallel universes?】

【Multi-dimensional confrontation!】

The scene ends with us returning to the Milky Way.

At this point, viewers who had already gleaned a wealth of key information from the previous trailers also noticed the twinkling star at the beginning, which was now located at the intersection of two star-crossing paths and was moving in one direction.

Whether it’s a matter of perspective or the trailer was intentionally edited this way, the final shot indefinitely stretches out the star’s forward trajectory. So when viewers see it, they only feel that it is still moving forward, but they can’t be sure which direction it is heading.

This might be the suspense left by the production team.

Finally, in this star-studded Milky Way, the film’s production company and name appeared.

To be honest, this trailer is very appealing.

It features mechs, robots, and high-octane action scenes.

Although this kind of Hollywood-style sci-fi trailer has long become a formulaic template, starting with a bombshell and editing the most exciting and eye-catching parts to repeatedly attract the audience’s attention, and is often criticized as a trailer scam, the trailer for ”Time Warp” is still very appealing. Not only is it well-made, but the cast and crew are also very luxurious, making viewers want to watch it again and again.

So before many people could even react, the trailer had already finished playing and entered a new playback loop.

【Wow! What amazing stuff is this?!】

【Grandma, the trailer for ”Time Wars” that you’ve been waiting for so long is finally here! When can I instantly jump to the Spring Festival holiday? I want to watch it right now!】

【What a stellar cast! Starring Shu Han and Xiao He, oh my god, is this a huge team-building event for best friends? All my favorite actors! Awesome!】

【Looking forward to it! I just watched Xiao He play games on his live stream yesterday, and today I see him secretly working on his business. Great! Congratulations! Wishing him a box office hit!】

The first to arrive at the scene were definitely Xiao He’s fans.

Although these fans don’t have the same mandatory ”call for help” comments as other celebrities, most of their comments are positive and show strong support for the new work.

If you really think about it, aside from his cameo role in ”Snowy Ridge Red Road” which only lasted a few minutes, Xiao He hasn’t had any new works released for almost half a year.

However, this does not mean that Xiao He’s popularity has declined. It just means that he is taking a break for the time being, and the remaining six months are for others to work hard and keep pushing forward.

Unfortunately, while he took a six-month break to temper his talents, others who got the opportunity failed to capitalize on it!

This year—no, it’s already last year—Xiao He’s works in the first half of the year have already allowed him to firmly occupy half of the film industry. Even in the year-end reviews, his presence is indispensable, and the works he has participated in are almost all on the lists of various bloggers.

Looking at the total box office figures for films released last year, the films in which Xiao He starred completely dominated the top spots, leaving no room for the films that followed.

In particular, ”The Phantom Thieves 2” during last year’s Spring Festival season undisputedly won the annual championship.

This year, Zhuang Hongyi was working on the post-production of ”Long” and did not start the project for ”Phantom Thief 3”. Therefore, the ”Phantom Thief” series, which has always liked to dominate the Spring Festival film season, has taken a break this year, giving other films a chance.

But no one expected that at the beginning of this year, there would be another bombshell: ”Time Confrontation” was scheduled for release during the Spring Festival!

With its star-studded lineup, almost everyone could guess that this project would be Linghui Entertainment’s next big hit, and it’s clear that the team is full of ambition and wants to make a big splash during this year’s Spring Festival season.

The official release of ”Time-Traveling Confrontation” also signifies that Linghui Entertainment, which has primarily focused on television dramas, is once again extending its reach into the film industry.

This will be another leap and leap forward for capital.

—And without a doubt, it is a target that many other capital groups are wary of.
