Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

Chapter 436: Han Jae-woo’s Big Stage Performance Reveal

Xiao He topic on domestic social media.

”Iʼm so furious, Iʼm so furious, did any of you see the marketing accounts today?”

”I saw it. Theyʼre all plagiarists. Han Jae-woo has no shame. Is his own performance that bad? Why would he want to steal Brother Xiaoʼs performance? Oh wait, does he think he can steal Xiao Heʼs acting talent too?”

”Hahaha, Iʼm literally laughing from being so annoyed.”

”I saw this video on foreign sites before. I actually thought it was a praise video for Brother Xiao, but all the links below were promoting other people. I thought they were just mistaking who was who! Turns out it was deliberate. Disgusting.”

”Hehe, I give up. I rushed to foreign sites to find the comment sections and explain, but those videos were already deleted.”

”What is this? Using my Brother Xiao as a tool? Ride the heat and then leave?”

”What do you mean?”

”Donʼt you get it yet? Han Jae-woo stole Xiao Heʼs videos to boost his own metrics, he even suppressed Xiao Heʼs traffic overseas. Now that the Twelve Mirrors script is in his hands, he wonʼt perform over there, and he deleted all the stolen videos. Thereʼs nowhere left for us to go clarify things.”

”Huh? Where did he post them? I didnʼt see them on Korean sites.”
”He definitely didnʼt post them on his home platforms! Put that face back domestically and who would mistake Xiao He for Han Jae-woo? It must be on overseas social platforms!”

”Oh, so there are marketing accounts abroad too…”

”Marketing accounts are everywhere! They have those accounts drum up the heat, then quietly stir trouble in the comment sections. Even if we chase them now, we can only trash the marketing accounts, and he walks away unscathed.”

”Damn, that sneaky?”

”Exactly. And the real person hasnʼt shown up. Many videos were deleted fast. If we go to foreign sites to explain, weʼll be at a disadvantage and end up giving him reverse traffic. That tactic is truly low.”

”Great. Who doesnʼt know the infamous plagiarist King Han Jae-woo? He stole old songs from domestic singers during his idol days, stole scripts like that famous short film ʼXXXʼ to become an award-winning actor, copied red carpet looks…”

”Watch your language. Han Jae-woo has tons of obsessed fans at home. Be careful they donʼt rush over.”

”Ahem, Iʼm leaving first. I feel like this place is about to be swarmed…”

”Why them? They have the nerve to come here? This is our turf!”

But the next moment, an unexpected presence barged into the thread.

”Everyone, please be rational spectators. Donʼt be led by someone setting the rhythm. Neither party has clarified this matter, so donʼt rush to insult people.”

”To those claiming Han Jae-woo stole Xiao Heʼs videos, are you sure youʼre not suffering from some delusion? How many awards has Han Jae-woo won since his debut? And what awards has Xiao He won since his debut? Han Jae-woo is a domestic grand slam award-winning actor, what does Xiao He have to compare?”

”Coincidentally, Xiao He was recently shortlisted for Cannes. Your guyʼs recent antics must be him trying to chase awards overseas, right? Tsk tsk, too bad, our Brother Xiao has already taken a giant step upward.”

”Hehe, being shortlisted, so what? Do you even know what being shortlisted means? They just felt sorry and gave him an entry ticket. In the end it means nothing. Domestic actors are just parade participants at those awards, you can only laugh like country bumpkins.”

”Then why hasnʼt your guy had a chance to be shortlisted for Best Actor over there in all these years? Is it because your guy looks down on them?”

”We never expected Brother Xiao to snag that award in one go. Heʼs still a newcomer and has a long way to go. If he meets that sneaky senior later, we should be sure to learn a lot from him.”

…

In no time, the relevant social platforms became battlegrounds, and the comment sections turned into outlets for both sides to vent.

Casual onlookers who only came for the drama gradually couldnʼt sit still and started defending Xiao He one after another.

When an actor from your country is bullied by a neighboring countryʼs performer and insulted by your own brain-dead people, who wouldnʼt feel compelled to ask, ”Are you okay?”

And this time, it was obviously the other side at fault!

Although the opposition deleted things quickly, domestic marketing accounts had already preserved evidence. Any clear-eyed person could now see the truth—the comment keywords beneath Xiao He’s performance videos were basically Han Jae-woo, almost without exception. All of them were pushing Han Jae-woo’s name. A few netizens with domestic IPs tried to correct things in the comments, but others kept insisting the domestic netizen had misidentified the person in the video as Han Jae-woo.

The domestic netizen: ???

I donʼt follow celebrities, Iʼm not a Xiao He fan, and I donʼt know your so-called Han Jae-woo, but Xiao Heʼs face is already that well-known, right?

You mean I wouldnʼt recognize him?

Why donʼt you just call me blind?

There were many similar situations, and since marketing accounts do this all the time—guiding public opinion, fanning emotions—it became routine… So once their short videos appeared and spread widely, domestic netizens were furious after watching them.

Under these circumstances, even people who didnʼt know Xiao He, after a bit of searching, would find that Xiao He is a highly dedicated actor with excellent skills. His upcoming work had even successfully been shortlisted for Cannes, and he himself was still filming abroad.

Such an excellent actor shouldnʼt be treated like this!

All of the Little Box fan groups had already exploded, organizing teams to prepare an eastbound campaign to confront the other sideʼs platform and their fans.

But before they could finish grouping and take further action, the Korean sites had already erupted.

”Han Jae-woo’s Twelve Mirrors stage play performance fully unveiled!”

”Han Jae-woo’s Twelve Mirrors personal showcase!”

”Han Jae-woo’s Twelve Mirrors performance”

Without Han Jae-woo’s team being aware, his name also suddenly appeared on Korean trending lists.

Though Han Jae-woo was a grand slam award-winning actor in his own country with great ability and plenty of backstage power, he had many people jealous of him.

Almost as soon as the negative hot search about Han Jae-woo surfaced, others smelled something unusual and immediately seized the opportunity to pour fuel on the fire.

Recently, because Twelve Sins was being adapted into a film, Han Jae-woo had ridden a wave of success—hot searches after hot searches—his fans beating drums, setting off fireworks, promoting Twelve Sins everywhere.

Now the newest hot search about Han Jae-woo appeared without warning and his fans were unprepared. They clicked in, ready to bask in fresh praise for their guy.

But the next second, they felt something off—

”Is the person in this video really Han Jae-woo?”

”Whatʼs going on? Han Jae-wooʼs performance in Twelve Mirrors is mediocre.”

”Huh? Is this it? Is Han Jae-woo really someone who just won Best Actor? His dissociative identity disorder looks like heʼs crazy.”

”Dissociative identity disorder basically is crazy, you gossiping bitch, what are you talking about?”

”Hehe, I donʼt know acting, but I have eyes. Werenʼt Han Jae-wooʼs fans hyping him up before? What happened now? He shows his face and canʼt act?”

”Didnʼt they say Han Jae-wooʼs foreign performance videos went viral? So this is it? You guys must have bought metrics!”

”Bullshit!”
