All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 92 Ice AgeFor a Formal Deity, 100 years is merely a nap.

On this day, the ”All-Arms Resonating” Plane was livelier than usual; divine thought projections of varying strengths crossed the Void Realm and gathered here.

All the deities turned their gazes in the same direction: toward the Divine Domain that had voluntarily dispersed its fog, displaying its interior without reservation.

This was a world completely metalized.

The ground was cold alloy plates, and the mountains were piles of Gears and bearings.

Even those things that appeared to be plants were composed of precisely operating clockwork springs, reeds, and metal leaves, shimmering with a ruthless mechanical luster.

This was the Divine Domain of the Gear Deity.

In the gaps of the metal jungle, a group of short figures scurried about busily. These followers were born mechanical Great Masters—Goblins.

After checking the instruments, they put down the wrenches in their hands and rustled toward a metal plaza in the Divine Domain.

The Goblins closed their eyes tightly and began to pray.

”Great Gear and Mechanical God, machines receive their Soul because of you, metal gains spirituality because of you!”

Today was an important day for the Gear Deity to attempt to ascend to a Level 2 Divinity.

For some reason, it invited everyone in the guild to witness this, and voluntarily dispersed the Divine Domain’s fog, publicly displaying the scene of its own Divine Domain.

Outside the Divine Domain, the deities of the guild were also discussing passionately.

”What a Genius! In just a short hundred years, it has completed all the accumulation needed to ascend to a Level 2 Divinity!”

”From Level 1 to Level 2 is not a big threshold, the difficulty isn’t that high, so the Gear Deity’s ascension definitely won’t be a problem.”

This deity suddenly changed the subject, gloating as it teased the Group Nine Leader: ”I think after the Gear Deity succeeds in this ascension, it will probably soon want to strike out on its own and establish its own group!”

During this period, because of the Gear Deity’s outstanding performance, the Ninth Group was enjoying unparalleled popularity.

Upon hearing this, the huge metal palm curled into a fist, striking a ”I’m not listening, I’m not listening” pose.

”Ding!”

A silver mechanical Law appeared on the surface of the Divine Domain’s core, attracting the gazes of all the deities.

If one looked closely, one would discover that this Law was composed of countless tiny Gears!

The moment the Level 2 Divine Rune was completed, the massive World Origin Force was drawn in and descended with a roar upon that mechanical Divine Domain!

Under the gaze of the gods, the Gear Deity’s Divine Domain began to expand violently and steadily outward, its area rapidly climbing to 500,000 square kilometers.

Those Chaos monsters had been waiting in the Void Realm for a long time; smelling the sweet scent of the World Origin Force, they instantly tore through space and swarmed in!

The Goblin followers had already skillfully hidden themselves in sturdy bunkers deep underground.

The next moment, thousands of combat-type mechanical bionic units with uniform designs, shimmering with a cold metallic light, poured out from various hidden exits.

They charged toward the Chaos beast tide!

There was no fear, no retreat, not even a ripple of emotion.

Their sole purpose for existing was to execute orders until they were completely destroyed.

Even if their limbs were broken or their energy cores exposed, these mechanical creations would still lunge forward at the last moment, using self-destruction to exchange for the greatest battle results.

The battle was cruel and efficient. In the end, after losing nearly 70% of the mechanical bionic units, the Chaos beast tide was successfully repelled.

The Goblin followers were unharmed; discovering that the battle had ended, they quietly emerged from the bunkers, picking through the battlefield with heartache to see what could still be repaired.

The Divine Domain’s fog spread once again, and the Divine Domain hid within the Void Realm.

And the Gear Deity’s divine thought projection appeared, its entire body radiating the powerful energy of a Level 2 Divinity!

For a moment, the gods all congratulated it on its successful ascension.

Naturally, this included Zhou Zheng.

After receiving instructions from the Hell Flower boss, he acted as if he was very keen on the mechanical bionic units, and his relationship with the Gear Deity was not bad.

At this moment, he also followed the crowd, outwardly congratulating the Gear Deity quite happily.

But his heart was tightened to the extreme.

Before the Gear Deity’s ascension, the Calamity Abyss was just a tiny bit away from being filled with red cards!

Sure enough, just as the gods had not yet calmed down from the clamor of the Gear Deity’s ascension, a massive, oppressive, and heart-palpitating energy fluctuation swept across the entire Void Realm without warning!

”What’s going on? Where is the energy fluctuation coming from?” The gods were suspicious and uncertain, their chaotic Divine Thoughts sweeping everywhere.

Until one deity let out a terrified shriek: ”Look—the Solar Plane! It’s the Solar Plane!”

All Divine Thoughts instantly turned toward the core energy source of all God Systems—that huge ball of light hanging high in the Void Realm, providing light and heat to countless Divine Domains.

At this moment, it was rapidly dimming at a speed visible to the naked eye, the energy it radiated was decaying sharply, and the temperature of all Planes was plummeting suddenly!

”What is going on?!”

The gods were still doubting if they were dreaming—that was the sun!

The sun that hadn’t changed for hundreds of millions of years!

The abnormal change had not yet ended.

Almost at the same time, the torrent of calamity cards, which had originally been almost silent, seemed to have been fiercely pushed by an invisible hand, becoming unprecedentedly violent and surging!

They no longer waited for the gods to draw them, but like a bursting flood, they rushed toward every deity’s Divine Domain without explanation, forcefully!

The next moment, the outer crystal walls of countless Divine Domains were forcibly torn apart.

Killing machines with ferocious designs, composed purely of metal, rushed into each Divine Domain like a cold tide.

They had no signs of Life, did not fear Death, their bodies were incomparably hard, and their only instruction was—slaughter! Destruction!

”No—!” A deity let out a desperate cry.

A mandatory natural disaster that swept through all deities, from which no one could escape—the Mechanical Torrent, descended today!
