All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 57 Temporary RestZhou Zheng’s Divine Thought swept across the entire God Domain.

To the far east, the once barren edge was now a shimmering ”small ocean.”

Nearly two thousand Elemental Naga were frolicking on the coast, their melodious laughter intertwining with the sound of flowing water.

Not all Desert Snake People successfully transformed into Naga; only those who originally possessed a certain level of spiritual talent and elemental affinity could withstand the transformation of the seven-colored crucible to evolve into powerful S-rank dependents.

Their lower bodies remained serpentine, but the scales covering them displayed brilliant colors—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple—distinctly showcasing their respective elemental talents. This was a trait derived from the ”Children of the Rainbow.”

Their upper bodies lacked the previous ferocity of the Snake People, appearing more human-like with soft and delicate features.

Their long hair moved without wind, slightly transparent as if strung together by countless minute elemental particles, glowing with radiant light.

Perhaps due to the refinement of the seven-colored crucible, these Naga had miraculously tamed the sand worms, effectively suppressing their endless thirst for water, which allowed them to create and maintain this small, precious ocean.

On the sandy beach by the shore, the Dawn Sunflowers—the Elemental Naga’s favorite—were planted. Their golden flower heads emitted a warm, soft white light, providing the special light energy they required.

In the central and western parts of the God Domain, most areas remained vast deserts, but the central region near the Oasis was quietly transforming into a grassland suitable for vegetation.

The staple food of the dependents, blood rice, was planted here on a large scale. From a distance, it looked like an undulating crimson sea, supplying the growing food demands of the entire God Domain.

This was also the location of the Feathered Serpent Temple.

Over nine thousand Desert Snake People who failed to evolve and over four thousand Storm Hawkmen surrounded the temple, building the largest and most prosperous settlement in the God Domain.

In addition to this core settlement, about two thousand Eagle People were scattered throughout various parts of the God Domain.

They served as the God Domain’s rapid-response patrol. Utilizing their aerial advantage, they remained vigilant against potential enemies attacking from the Void Realm, rushing to eliminate them upon discovery.

The Snake People and Naga, on the other hand, possessed another unique mode of transportation: sand worms.

They could tap the sand at specific frequencies to summon the sand worms, then firmly grip their thick carapaces to move through the sea of sand at high speeds with great efficiency.

Zhou Zheng’s gaze finally turned toward the core of the God Domain’s Laws. The patterns there had also become completely different.

The hideous, squirming black necromantic curse patterns originally attached to the outside of the crystal wall had visibly faded, even beginning to ”decolorize” in some parts; it seemed only a matter of time before they were completely eradicated.

The newborn rainbow patterns, along with the previously branded river and ocean Water Vein patterns and wind vein patterns—which were once stripped away and now re-imprinted on the God Domain’s core—were being covered and intertwined by a layer of even more domineering and active dark blood-colored patterns!

That sensation—it was as if these blood-colored patterns originating from the Orc God System were slowly and steadily eroding, controlling, and even swallowing those elemental Law patterns!

The overlapping and collision of these patterns also brought new challenges to the God Domain.

The enemies generated now were no longer pure Blood Beasts, but had become Elemental Blood Beasts possessing various elemental powers. They became more difficult and dangerous to deal with.

Fortunately, the overall strength of the dependents was no longer what it used to be, and they could handle it with ease.

Finally, only the earliest imprinted purple dimensional patterns used to generate Void Beasts remained uninvolved, unaffected by the other patterns.

Zhou Zheng also slowly discovered that killing Void Beasts dropped a wide variety of strange resources, greatly enriching the God Domain’s inventory of products.

The most valuable among them was a peculiar crystal called a ”Void Core.” It seemed to contain stable spatial coordinates within, which might serve as nodes for a long-distance teleportation network.

However, they were currently scarce, and since the dependents already had convenient ways to move, they were simply being collected and stockpiled for now.

After surveying the thriving God Domain, Zhou Zheng nodded with satisfaction.

The massive resources obtained from the Rainbow God Domain needed to be digested, the newborn Elemental Naga dependents needed study, the newly introduced Giant Mermen needed education... and the overextended All-Knowing Eye talent had also entered a long cooldown period.

He desperately needed a period of rest and recovery.

As the fatigue from constantly jumping between Planes washed over him, Zhou Zheng’s divine thought projection slowly faded away, and his consciousness sank into the core of the God Domain, entering a deep state of slumber...
