All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 83 Mortal LevelsNot long after, the radiance of Divine Power gradually faded, and the upgrade and renovation of the Underground City’s forging pool were completed.

Its scale had expanded several times over; the originally scattered sub-buildings—such as the Material processing workshops, blueprint analysis rooms, and forging hearths—were cleverly integrated and connected, forming a structured, streamlined, and holistic large-scale workshop.

Now, it could accommodate more Nether Worker Ants to work in synergy, the temperature of the furnace fire was more constant, and the guidance of lava energy was more efficient.

The aura of Law permeating the air seemed to be subtly enhancing the success rate and quality of forging.

Meeting the production requirements of this assessment was no longer an issue.

While the Nether Worker Ant that had just achieved a Breakthrough was excitedly imparting its experience to other Artisans, Zhou Zheng’s Divine Thought calmed down, and for the first time, he systematically took stock of the detailed status of his Divine Domain after ascending to a Formal Deity.

At the mortal level, deities generally adopt a Rank System from Lv.0 to Lv.9 to measure the strength of individual followers and the level of functional buildings.

Currently, three paths of advancement for followers have mainly developed within Zhou Zheng’s Divine Domain:

1. [Martial Artist]: Cultivate ’Beastman blood qi Condensation Method’ or guide natural Spiritual Qi into the body, pursuing the ultimate in individual combat strength.

The current strongest is the Feathered Serpent Beastman Leader, whose strength has reached Lv.3, serving as the main military pillar of the Divine Domain.

2. [Divine Official]: Focused on deepening faith in the Feathered Serpent God and developing various Divine Art applications based on the core Divine Art ’Devour’.

The standouts of this path are the Elemental Naga Queen and the Nether Ant Queen; their understanding of faith and mastery of Divine Arts have both reached Lv.3, making them the core of maintaining the faith network.

3. [Artisan]: Specialized talents who have mastered specific production or auxiliary skills. The Divine Domain nourishes their craft, causing their skills to produce extraordinary effects.

Zhou Zheng’s Divine Domain possesses diverse Artisans: Blacksmiths, Spirit Fishermen, Beast Tamers, Spirit Planters, singers, dancers, etc. The Nether Worker Ant that just achieved a Breakthrough is the first Artisan (Blacksmith) to reach Lv.3.

These three paths are not clearly demarcated.

For example, the Elemental Naga Queen is not only a Lv.3 Divine Official but also Cultivates blood qi, possessing the strength of a Lv.2 Martial Artist. To better spread faith, she is also a Lv.2 singer.

Buildings within the Divine Domain also follow the Rank System, and upgrading buildings often requires followers of the corresponding Rank to preside over or participate in the process.

The Temple is the Rank foundation for all buildings in the area—the Rank of any building within a city cannot exceed the Rank of the local Temple.

The building Ranks of Zhou Zheng’s three cities are as follows:

----------

[Feathered Serpent City] (Military and Agricultural Center)

Buildings: Lv.3 Temple, Lv.2 Beastman Training Grounds, Lv.2 blood rice Farm, Lv.2 Serpent-type Demonic Beast Farm, Lv.2 Eagle-type Demonic Beast Farm, Lv.1 Life Spring Healing Center, Lv.1 Beastman Dwellings

City Lord: Feathered Serpent Beastman Leader

Residents: Feathered Serpent Beastmen (4,000), Yuanwo Serpent People (2,000), Yuanwo Eagle People (1,500)

----------

[Elemental City] (Faith and Cultural Center)

----------

From the building Ranks, the positioning and strength of each city are clearly visible.

Feathered Serpent City has the deepest foundation and is the military and food center; Elemental City is the core of faith and culture; Underground City is the up-and-comer specialized in manufacturing.

Lv.3 to Lv.4 is a huge threshold, signifying the transition from ’ordinary’ to ’elite’.

As expected, relevant knowledge and blueprints were once again strictly locked.

’Blueprints for forging and military industry can be expected to be obtained from within the Weapon Spirit Pool.’

Zhou Zheng calculated in his heart, ’As for the more critical core blueprints for upgrading the Temple... I’m afraid I’ll have to rely on news from that unreliable superior—Hell Flower.’
