Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 703: Guild War

A few minutes had gone by since Xu Feng ruthlessly got the three Assassins from MIST dead and proceeded to use their loot to gift the viewers.

And as if it was a coincidence or not, the three lucky viewers were people who had supported the stream from the beginning.

[Heh, as expected of my idol. This item can be auctioned for a good amount of money.]--- Anonymous User 3409

[Now why would you auction them away? Itʼs better to keep it as a trophy and have it shelved for memory.]---- Anonymous User 2304

[3409, you can just sell them to me. No need to auction it away.] Anonymous User 6666

As the three of them started discussing their loot, many started to chime in. Some of them were envious, while some called the loot drop system rigged.

Unfortunately, the loot drop system was an added feature utilizing the Divine World System, meaning it couldnʼt be rigged at all.

”To the three lucky viewers, you simply need to use the code given to you in the private message and request a trade with OneManMedia in the auction market to receive them later on.” Xu Feng quickly informed them on how to redeem the reward. Given that the rewards were Divine World items, it was more efficient to commence the trade through the auction market.

Firstly, they could still conceal their identity and secondly, the chance of them being robbed or retaliated would be abysmally low.

How could they get harmed if no one knew who they were and that the auction market was linked in a lot of places?

Sometime later, OneManMedia finished sending them a private message with a code, whereas Xu Feng continued to advance alone.

As he reached the gate entrance, the guards from Skyland City became wary of Xu Feng.

After all, Xu Feng had the Lockdown Order Field in hand, which exuded a tremendous and overwhelming mana.

”Stop, what is your intention in the city?” One of the guards raised their hand and asked solemnly. Without a doubt, they had identified Xu Feng as a dangerous individual and were ready to make a move.

Unfazed by the question, Xu Feng simply retrieved a decree signed by Magnus himself.

”By the decree of City Magistrate Magnus of Star Falls City, Iʼm here to declare war on the people who resided in Skyland City and participated in the recent siege. If you dare to intervene then Iʼll take it as Skyland City wanting to go to war with our Star Falls City.” He declared and glared at the guards with a cold expression.

Almost immediately, the guards were stupefied by the revelation of the decree.

From the mana residue that continued to leak out, they could confirm the decree was authentic.

”I understand. You may proceed.” As the guard begrudgingly accepted the decree and stepped aside, a system prompt message began to appear for all players within Skyland City.

System: Attention to all players! Vanguard Guild has declared war upon the MIST Guild for their transgression. Certain zones have now been designated for the Guild War. Any unrelated players should make haste to move toward the safety zone, which is highlighted in green. Otherwise, you would be labeled as MIST Guildʼs allies. Do take note that the death penalty is tripled during this duration! You have been warned!

When the players unaffiliated with MIST who remained in the city to spectate the upcoming guild war witnessed the system prompt, they became dumbfounded.

”Guild War zone? Why is the system involved in a guild war?”

”Just what did Vanguard Guild do to make the guild war an official event where the system intervenes as well?”

”This time… MIST really fucked up royally.”

When even the uninvolved players held such a thought, the situation couldnʼt be any worse for MIST, who have been officially barred from entering Skyride Hotel.

They were now blacklisted, given that Skyride Hotel had no intention of being destroyed in the process of the Guild War.

Meanwhile, MIST members including Tyler were automatically teleported to a fighting zone.

”Damn it, what is happening?” Tyler clenched his fist, his eyes scanning around the surroundings. ”Why are we in the open field all of a sudden?”

They were still within Skyland City, but they were completely isolated from any buildings and people. It was as if they had been placed in an open arena with no places to hide.

Most of the MIST members werenʼt even ready or prepared for such a situation as they began to panic. Some attempted to leave the open field to get coverage, only to be bounced back by some restriction.

”Guild Leader, we canʼt leave this zone. There seemed to be a transparent barrier in place!” A member quickly reported to Tyler about the devastating situation.

Having been informed they might be trapped in some cage-like environment, Tyler quickly commanded the members to start blasting their spells to break the invisible barrier.

”Quickly, we must exit out of this open field and find an advantageous position.”

Sometime later, Tyler and the rest of the members threw whatever spells they could at the transparent barrier, only to realize it was a futile effort.

Exhausted and running low on mana, Tyler understood that Vanguard Guild had pulled up something impossible once again.

Sure enough, when they gave up trying to break through and escape the zone, Tylerʼs eyes widened in shock and disbelief in a specific direction.

”Only five minutes. Guild Leader Tylerʼs patience is surely thin to not persist further.” Xu Feng and his people emerged from the other side.

He had a pitiful expression when he glanced at Tyler. ”You made my dear subordinates and viewers sad that you didnʼt continue to try to break through. They had a bet after all that you would persist for at least 10 minutes whereas I said you canʼt.”

”...”

Tyler was completely rendered speechless when he was made a fool by Xu Feng. ʼJust what the hell did this bastard do to create this kind of environment for us?ʼ
